arrowtoes.livejournal.comHi everyone (first post here!), I'm looking for some deleted Thorki fics by black_nata. Specifically, "as the waves break" (which was originally called "Lightning Strikes (The Pages Keep On Turning)"), "Extinction", "Avalanche", and "Sinking" (not Thorki but a Loki fic).
They still have a few Thorki fics on AO3 and lj but seem to have removed most of them for some reason. I checked both places and their tumblr for why but didn't find anything. They added me on lj when I asked about "as the waves break" but didn't reply about it being taken down, so idk what to think and just thought I would try here and see if any other black_nata fans had saved anything they'd be willing to share? I loved the ideas they always came up with for twists on Thor and Loki's dynamic (lots of bottom!Thor, which is rare) and I was so sad to see most of their fic gone. :( Of all the fics I had read and saw recced, the four above are the ones Wayback doesn't have (I used this most recent tumblr masterlist and this older cached version of their ao3 works page to find them, so idek if that's even all of them).
Wayback does have most of "as the waves break" but is missing chapter 13 somehow, as well as chapter 2 of "Avalanche" (which is only two chapters!).

I got this fragment of a scene stuck in my mind where Loki (who is very blue) is out exploring Midgard and goes to the mall (where people are extreamly freaked). I remember Phil showing up and wondering if he should 'take care of things' at which point Tony(?) shows up somehow and tells him the blue alien is actually Thors husband/wife/intended/brother.
That's pretty much it. Hopefuly someone here knows it! :)

I would love a Thor/Loki fic that takes place right after the Avengers movie where they return to Earth because the people of Asgard discovered their relationship and they were banished/humiliated/scorned/etc. It doesn't matter whether they were in a relationship during or before Avengers or if it was a new thing. I just would love to see family!Avengers fic where the Avengers accept their relationship (and eventually Loki) when the people of Asgard would not.

Lost Thor/Loki AU fic
Feb. 28th, 2015 08:31 pmlemonadetrees.livejournal.comI read a fic a while ago in which Thor and his friends ambushed Jotenheim (just for fun I think?). There's some sort of negotiation and it's decided that Thor has to stay in Jotenheim for a year and he spends the time as Loki's personal servant/sex slave. There's a lot of politics and stuff going on in the fic, with Loki constantly fighting/scheming to gain/retain his place as crown prince of Jotenheim. A few specific things I remember was that the Jotenn culture has no concept of familial relations/loyalty and all relationships are based on necessity and mutual gain. There's a scene towards the end of the fic where Loki and his brother are both amused and confused by Thor's desire for his father's approval.
The fic ends when Thor's year is up and he goes back to Asgard. I think it was part of a series, but I don't think anymore of the series had been written (at the time that I read it).
I know that this fic is not Wild Ambition Fortune's Ice Prefers by amberfox17.
I'm 90% sure that I read it on AO3, but it might have been on lj.

In order to become one of them Thor has to pass a test to prove his worthiness first, which was ultimately about slaying a dragon. Joining the warriors was considered very honorable and I think Thor was required to make a pledge before Odin and several foreign diplomats. But before the official ceremony one of the diplomats does something that makes Thor and Loki end up in each other's bodies.
Thor and Loki eventually set out on a journey to go hunt the dragon together with Loki in Thor's body and Thor in Loki's. Because of the change in their bodies, Loki has to learn to use physical strength to his advantage and Thor reluctantly accepts that he has to use magic to aid Loki now that he's become the weaker of the two (by being in Loki's body). They learn to cooperate and manage to slay the dragon in the end, but one of them was seriously wounded in the process (I can't remember if it was the actual Loki or Thor in Loki's body). And as one of the brothers lay slowly dying, the magic that caused the body swap was suddenly lifted and they were changed back into their original bodies.
I think it had a happy ending with Thor and Loki learning to truly respect and appreciate each other. I can't really remember if they were in a relationship. Maybe it was focused more on brotherly love?

There were (at least) two parts, one in which Loki and Thor meet at a young age (I think), slowly become closer and eventually marry (fairly sure this was a canon au where Loki's jotun ancestry is known and/or he came to Asgard willingly).
In the second part, Loki's been murdered and Thor sets out on an epic quest to find his soul and get it back. The fic ends in Ragnarök happening right after Thor has actually got Loki to remember who he is (since he'd lost his memory of his life in Valhalla) but the ending is still happy.
Anyone remember this one? Feeling a bit desperate rn since this ship is kind of huge... thanks in advance for an help! :'3
EDIT: made one more last ditch attempt to use a3o tags fu to locate fics and did... at which point it turned out I did have them bookmarked after all??? That's what one gets when looking for fics while sick I guess. Sorry for the trouble!

The first one was Loki/Thor and AU. It was in a universe where the war with the Jotun hadn't ended and Loki was raised by Laufey. They were both, Loki and Thor, fighting in this war. Loki was a powerful sorcerer with no reguard for who was hurt by his spells in battle, neither Aesir nor Jotun warriors were safe as long as he won. He got captured and was given as a slave to Thor, who Loki had almost klled. It was non-con, but Loki wasn't defeated and broken in the end. It was inspired I think but a beautiful piece of art with a Jotun Loki in gold jewelry being taken by Thor in his tent.
The second one is a very dark story. It is of a young Loki taking his first steps in shapeshifting. He turns into small aminals and roams the palace and finally decides to visit a restricted place in the library. There, a book makes him possesed which leads him being hurt from Odin. I can't remember if it was non-con Loki/Odin, but Odin was cruel to him for this one mistake when he was lenient with a constantly misbehaving Thor. I remember Loki was left broken after everything. Maybe there was a scene connecting this story to a fully grown canon-Loki.
Does anyone remember them?

The first is the Chitauri (I think) are attacking and Loki has made up with Thor and Loki is helping Earth so Loki transports soldiers to either the moon or mars and disguises the moon/mars as the earth and blows it up. This makes the chitauri (I think) think that the planet is destroyed.
In the fic Tony has passes? as rewards that let him do stuff. He is in a relationship with Pepper, then Bruce and Steve. He has sex with Loki (after Loki does the above spell) and his passes are taken away. Thor is really annoyed with Tony for having sex with Loki.

1) Are there any other fics out there that are similar to this? One where the Avengers/Thor/Everyone gains a better understanding/appreciation for Loki? Maybe they realize that he hasn't been treated very well (probably before his, um, misdeeds) for him to feel so isolated and bitter and unloved? Or after for him to have turned out like this? IDK, maybe some horrible things have happened to him (before, after, whenever)? (I loved how Thor from the alternate reality treated Loki in the above mentioned fic!)
I'm a big fan of angst where there's abuse, suicide attempts, torture, rape, and other dark happenings going on with Loki so long as there is a happy ending (and a lovely hurt/comfort recovery process)! ♥

IDK, maybe some horrible things have happened to him (before, after, whenever)? (I loved how Thor from the alternate reality treated Loki in the above mentioned fic!)
I'm a big fan of angst where there's abuse, suicide attempts, torture, rape, and other dark happenings going on with Loki so long as there is a happy ending (and a lovely hurt/comfort recovery process)! ♥

What I remember: Thor ended up capturing Loki and bringing him back home. Odin cannot let his deeds go unpunished, but neither does he sentence him to death. Instead, they lock him up in this tower/place he cannot leave. Loki conducts a plan and slow begins to starve him -- people rarely visit him (Thor, mostly, but I believe he's back on Earth). As long as the tray of food is empty, it won't arouse suspicion.
A long time passes and with no one else for company, Loki makes friends with a bird. Eventually, Thor comes back and through some event (I can't remember what), he ends up killing the bird accidentally (unaware that it meant so much to Loki). He's also horrified to see how think Loki has gotten.
He brings Loki to his father and a hospital like place (there may be something more wrong with him -- maybe he jumps from the tower?? I don't remember), but Loki refuses treatment and the nurse refuses to do anything to Loki against his will as part of her oath -- even if that means Odin's wrath. Everyone gathers around Loki to watch him die and Odin, Frigga, and Thor beg him eat/allow himself to be treated.
Loki refused to do this because what's the point if he cannot be free? He would rather be dead then trapped in a gilded cage for the rest of his life. It gets to just moments before his death that Odin finally agrees to free him if he would just eat from a golden apple (I think) and heal/live. Which, basically, was Loki's plan all along. I've beed trying to find this story for a while. I thought I had it saved to my computer but it has disappeared. :(
When Loki was born Laufy had is mouth sown shut, and it has been his whole life. The only one that can cut the cord tying his mouth is the one that put it on him. He is in a carage tied to a dead Farbauti, and the carage is being brought to Laufy by other Jotuns. Thor, Sif and the W3 show up and find Loki. They think he's a kid a set him free. Loki can talk to Thor through touch in his head. Loki goes off with them and he and Thor get close. Loki saves them from a blizzard and regains energy from Mjolnir.
Later in the story Loki meet a wolf pup, Fenris, and and ice snake, Jormungander.
Thor is also capture and brought to Laufy for fighting and Loki sponsors him.
Hope somebody can find this for me. I've looked but I can't remember what website it was on.

Literal Afterglow due to spell

Frigga and Odin have cast a spell where whoever Thor sleeps with first would be marked by literally glowing. It happens to be Loki. Thor and Loki think it's a curse or possibly literal afterglow from sex, that they previously thought was simply methaphor. Then Frigga and Odin reveal they had cast a spell. Loki tries to get Thor to always look after him and give him a lot of attention. Eventually, Loki starts to fake fainting to get guards to carry him. Sif and others come forward, but Thor interprets them as telling him that he is neglecting Loki, so he steps down as King to always be with Loki. In the end, Loki starts trying to hide from Thor. Sadly I can't remember much more than that they where written BEFORE the Avengers had gotten out in the cinemas, so I'm guessing they wrote it in 2011 or early 2012.
In one of their fics Thor has just brought back Loki from Midgard after the havoc in New York. He and Loki argue on the bifrost (I think) and when they kiss there's such a lovely description of how their hair mix in the wind, stark contrasts of black and gold.
They also wrote a Lady Loki/ Thor fic, and a fic where they have sex for the first time after a drunken night of celebration (probably one of Thor's birthdays).

And god, I'm sorry for being so vague, and I'm sorry for my terrible English as well.

Here's the thing: a friend of mine recently watched "Thor", and while she wasn't too overwhelmed by the movie, she was a little intrigued by what I told her about Loki and Thor's dynamics in fandom (well, that and she is quite taken with Tom Hiddleston... go figure. *grins*) - and she said, if I had any good fic she would be interested. Which is great, because she has teased me for my recent passion for Avengers fic (we both originally hail from the Supernatural fandom) and this seems like the perfect opening to lure her into Marvel fandom (and show her what she's missing out on! *grins*). My problem, however, is: I don't read much Thor/Loki. The "Thor/Loki" tag on AO3 is no big help, because there is just so incredibly much out there, and we all know that summaries can be misleading and sometimes the most amazing stories are hidden behind an awkward, empty summary.
So, do you have any recs for good Thor/Loki "beginners" fics? Or rec lists? Fandom classics?

Thor & Loki share a bed (post-Avengers)?

A few scenarios that spring immediately to mind are the "Thor-rescues-Loki-from-horrible-punishment-and-takes-care-of-him" one, the "Loki-is-on-the-run-and-Thor-takes-him-in" one, the "Loki-was-never-the-bad-guy-and-they-were-already-in-a-relationship" one, and so on. These are by no means the only ones I'm looking for. Hurt!Thor and Hurt!Loki are equally nice.
I would really like to read any fics that include bed sharing. Thorki slash or brotherly gen is fine. Endgame other slash pairing or even het pairing is fine. I just want them sharing the bed for the comfort of one or the other (or both) at some point.

Loki is furious, because he is not some helpless maiden in need of protection and he can pick someone for himself thanksverymuch, but Odin insists. Sif, the warriors three and Thor enter as well, mostly just for show and Thor is expected to pull out of the competition at some point, but as it goes along he realises he has feelings for Loki and would like to genuinely compete for his hand. I also remember that Fandral seemed to have some feelings for Loki and that there was an elf from Svartalfheim who had bad intentions and nobody wanted him to win. And that Loki didn't just sit idly by and medled into the competition a lot.
I'm 99% sure I read it on norsekink, but I don't have time to sort through all of the fills, so I'm hoping one of you has a link handy.
