Hi! I was reading The War is Far From Over Now and remembered a fic I'd read a few years ago where Maria Hill goes against what Fury wants in Captain America: the Winter Soldier and tells Tony what is going on instead of putting everything online and in doing so kinda nerfs Hydra.

Tony has a backdoor in the hellicarrier design and keeps them from taking off while a bunch of like nsa/cia/fbi go in to apprehend the Hydra agents. That was pretty much the entire fic.

I hope someone recognizes this particular fic, but I'd also appreciate any fic with a Maria Hill pov of CA:TWS and it's aftermath!

Hello! Not sure if this group is still active but I need help. I am looking for this specific Avenger fanfic where the entire team is kidnapped and wakes up in a dark room all sitting near each other. I remember reading it a couple years ago maybe late 2018. It's similar to the start of this fic Team Building [ https://archiveofourown.org/works/26749123 ] but in this one, I am looking for each member of the original 6 who are forced to relive their past trauma. As for Steve it's about the war and the ice [if I remember correctly] and Nat's most likely about the red room. I don't remember the others but I do remember that Tony helped them through it for each person and for one of the turns he's singing as loud as he can to try and block out the sounds. I do remember that Tony was the last to be forced to relieve his trauma. I do remember the ending of Nick Fury and I believe Phil rescued them,

(This is my first post, sorry if its weird)
Looking for a fic wheres Loki is being tortured by Shield and eventually Tony Stark shows up and signs a few papers and Loki is given to Stark. He lives in the tower for a while, doing tasks, and at some point Fury comes back and doesnt like how well he is being treated, im pretty sure he shaves Lokis head and then stuff him into a closet. I also think at some point Clint shows up and shoots Loki in the shoulder or thigh (maybe both) with arrows and Loki gets an infection, that could be a different fic though. I cant remember much, but at some point Fury kidnaps Loki again and tortures him some more, he sleeps in a metal cell where he cant use the straw bedding. He has his ribs crushed and he's electrocuted. Eventually the avengers come and save Loki, with Natasha carrying him most of the way out. If someone could find this 🙏🙏

Edit- Ive remembered a bit more, Loki finds Tony in a room, and when he looks in the chair theres obvious signs of him be beat/tortured. Loki moves him to a bed then makes a potion in the kitchen to help heal him, im pretty sure Loki fights some Shield agents around this time.

so I am looking for this fanfiction: I think the story begins with a kid tony getting kidnapped by a gang, young clint is also in this gang and is very cold to tony (clint is older than tony). tony is sure that he will get home, but howard does not pay. so the gang are selling tony to a rich old guy. he brings tony to his big old house. where he stays in a room. the man has a wife, which is friendlier to tony. the man trained and abused tony for many years. Tony did not get enough food and is forced to run many rounds around the house.

Hi everyone. I'm looking for a fic that's probably pretty old. Not super old but definitely not recent. Anyway here's what I remember from it:

Shortly after the Avengers happen everyone is living together in the tower. Tony and Bruce both have a thing for the other but haven't done anything about it yet.
Bruce has a meeting with Fury and Fury threatens him. Basically something along the lines of your freedom relies on Tony's wanting you around.
After this Tony asks Bruce out, and feeling like he has no choice he says yes. This continues throughout the relationship until the Avengers figure it out and tell Fury off and Tony lets Bruce have his space to figure out his feelings towards him.

I would appreciate any help in finding this fic.

Today I suddenly wanted to reread an old Stony fic (set well before WS and CW). Tony and Steve are a couple. There is a meeting or debrief on the helicarrier. An anomaly happens during the debrief/meeting and something/creature attacks Tony. Everyone scrambles to figure out what is happening. One creature (a good cute alien) kind of latches on to Tony to get away from the bad creatures. I think Tony refers to the good/cute creature as Pikachu? Tony has been wounded by the bad creatures and is getting steadily more ill. I think the bad creatures are attracted to the light/energy of the arc reactor. I think Thor went to Asgard to get a cure for Tony. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

This one is super vague, but I read a story where, shortly after the Avengers Battle of Manhattan, SHIELD undergoes sudden changes in management.

Nick Fury had been ousted and replaced with a Nicole Fury.

Clint Barton had been held by SHIELD for 'debriefing' following the events of the film but, as soon as SHIELD recovered the scepter, was used as a test subject for exploring the limits and control over the scepter.

Tony Stark visited the SHIELD carrier and briefly met with Nicole Fury. A mid-tier scientist/agent was able to slip him some information in a micro-storage device encased in a magnet and surreptitiously attached to the Iron Man suit, and then the agent was killed shortly after (maybe by a mind-controlled Clint?).

I would love to read this one again -- I think Clint's trauma-and-recovery plot had been handled really well. Does it sound familiar to anyone?

I'm looking for a Bucky/Tony fanfic where Tony travels back in time and ends up in the 40s. He decides to join the war effort as a soldier and quickly climbs the ranks. I think he still has the arc reactor. The story is told as Tony tells about the events to Nick Fury in the future. I think it was written before the Winter Soldier movie came out and was quite long but still unfinished when I read it. It's on Ao3.

Some scenes/plot points I remember:
The time travel was caused by aliens, I think. I remember a scene at the beginning of him talking to them before they set him off. Might be wrong about this one though.
Tony gets kidnapped (instead of Bucky or with him) by Hydra and is injected with the super-soldier serum.

- He also takes out other people who were hired to attack phil in his apartment

Looking for an AO3 fic I misplaced after Thanksgiving. It is an Avengers (2012) AU in which Nick Fury has Loki captured in the Hulk-cell on the helicarrier, and is considering what to do next. Tony Stark makes comments over the intercom and Fury asks how he is even getting into the system. Tony says what makes Fury think he ever left it. Bruce is described as nearly going green because SHIELD got a straitjacket on Loki somehow. Enter Odin and Frigga, Bifrost-beamed onto the helicarrier. Frigga demands to see her son. Odin just looks like warrior eye candy I guess, along with two Einherjar they brought with them. Fury tells Frigga she'll be shown to a room to wait, while his people get Loki ready for her. She demands to see Loki immediately, not after they have cleaned him up from whatever torment they have done to him. Fury tells her Loki killed over 100 people. Frigga tells him her men kill thousands in a single day - it doesn't faze her, his trying to shock her with mortality rates, she thinks it's just collateral damage, for which she doesn't intend to apologize. Frigga gets Loki out of gaol and tells Fury she'll be taking her son, the tesseract AND the scepter back to Asgard with her, and Fury looks like he's sucked on a lemon the size of the moon!
If anyone has any ideas, I would be quite thankful to receive them.

I read this awhile ago but can't find it again. at the end of endgame tony "dies" then wakes up in the body of a teenager who had committed suicide in japan(?). fic follows as he adjusts to life there and later on he and his parents visit US and he is contacted by shield (who don't know it is tony) because of a science fair project that he had worked on that had used secret tech. and SHIELD/fury tries to force him to go to a school of their choosing and live at the compound. the rest of the avengers seem to sympathize with him. I might be misremembering a few of the last details and sorry if I mistagged this post made an account just to ask this:)

I just got through reading Burning Candles by kerravon. The story takes place when the team was together and friendly to each other, way before there was even a hint of Soldat or a rift in the family. During several battle little things go wrong, mostly with Tony's suit, and he and Cap are still trying figure each other little quirk and get along better. In one battle Tony gets the shit beat out of him by several creatures coming through some sort of rift in space, I think in Central Park. While he's recovering in the hospital Cap figures out that Tony is overworked (4 full time jobs), and undernourished. He confronts Fury, who didn't realize that Tony was doing all the gear design and upkeep himself and was getting new orders from Fury's understaff. Now I thought this was the story where Steve gets so angry with Fury that he bangs his fist on Fury's desk, cracking it in half. I think it was because of the way SHIELD was treating Tony, overworking him while holding out on his full Avengers member status, which is why I thought this was the one. I was wrong. Does anyone know of this story, where Steve Rogers is really enraged at Fury? Thanks in advance.

I know there are a number of MCU/Sentinel fusion fics out there, but once again my Google-fu is broken. Tony is a Guide - I don't know if it is public knowledge or not. He arrives at SHIELD and discovers that they have a prisoner under observation/interrogation and it is Loki. And Tony realizes Loki is HIS Sentinel. He removes Loki over Fury's strident objections. I think they retreat to Tony's Malibu home. I think Nat and Clint might have been present at SHIELD as well as possibly Coulson? Not positive. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Any help, pointers, etc. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

So i'm searching for this specific fic i read a while ago, i don't remember how it actually starts, but at the beginning Thor informs that loki is tied with some sort of magic to Clint and if they get separated (i don't know the exact distance) Loki will die from a slow and painful death. I think SHIELD is still testing Clint's capacity to be back in the field, so he's living in a SHIELD room and debating if he kills Loki or not, at some point (i think is beacuse HYDRA infiltrates in SHIELD but i'm not sure) They both end up running from "SHIELD" and hide in a secret base, they are there for a while, Loki sleeps in a Cell i think and Clint sleeps in other room and watches Loki with the security Cameras. I'm almost sure the have sex once or twice (it's very rought, not romantic at all, clint hurt's loki cause they both know Loki wants it) and one time Thor goes to this place and start beating up Loki and Clint stops him. After a While Fury, Nat (i think Phil Coulson too, but i'm not sure) and two agents (from Agents of SHIELD, i can't remember their names) find them but they don't let Clint go in the field again cause they think he got kind of unstable with all the situation, also, he can't separate from Loki and the won't bring him to fight Hydra. The problem is that one of the agents is secretly HYDRA or something like that and drugs Clint, they go in a Jet and he wakes up and stops the agent and then remember that Loki and he are connected by the magic so he tries to rush to the base thinking the god died but when he gets there he realized he's still alive and Loki is very grateful and starts regenerating again (If they separate, Loki's skin would start to burn or something like that).

Hello. I've been looking for this fanfic nonstop but I haven't found it.

I remember it being in Fanfiction.net I think, and it starts with Tony and Bruce messing around in the lab like always, when suddenly the others hear a explosion. When the teams goes to check, Tony and Bruce somehow messed up and (mentally) deaged themselves to around the age of 4, but remained in their adult bodies. The team doesn't know what to do and they inquire Fury and SHIELD about it, Fury gets mad and assigns two members of the team to take care of Bruce and Tony each. I don't remember how the order went. I do recall one part with them hearing some noises and chaos and when they go check, Tony is playing tag with the Hulk and the whole room is destroyed.

So far, that's all I remember. I didn't read much, and now I can't find it no matter the key-words I Google. If someone could please help me find it, it would be much appreciated!!

Hi. Pretty sure Pepper was manipulated by Fury, although it may have been Coulson. Anyway, she gives Fury(?) information about Tony’s private life, which Fury uses to try and manipulate Tony. Any ideas? Thank you.
EDIT: Thinking on it some more, I believe Pepper had told Fury something about Tony’s new relationship with someone. Tony felt betrayed by Pepper, as Fury used that info to try and threaten Tony. Tony and Pepper had a big fallout.

I appear to have misplaced a fic I enjoyed. I believe it was on AO3 and a WIP. Tony has decided he has had enough of SHIELD and the Avengers. He decides to make a partnership with Loki - both getting revenge on those that have done them wrong. Among other things Loki starts teaching Tony magic. He also tranforms into a handsome man that Tony publicly dates/falls for. The Avengers et al do not know Loki is the guy. Also at times Loki tranforms into a woman that takes a job as Tony's assistant (who to outward appearances doesn't like Tony). Again no one but Tony, Loki and JARVIS know that the woman is Loki. They are working to destroy SHIELD and its bases. The plan is for The Avengers and SHIELD are to think Loki is targeting them - no Tony involvement. I've done several searches on AO3, my bookmarks etc. No joy. Any help/pointers would be most greatly appreciated.

I've been searching for a specific fic where Tony seems to be in an alternate timeline or something. It's at least a world in which he doesn't exist. I'm pretty sure it was Loki's doing. And I think I remember Nick Fury not believing him and basically locking him up, cue Upset Tony where everything is spiraling out of control. It's not "To Be Undone" by Adenil (would recommend btw). Please, help me! I can't find it anywhere, and I'm starting to wonder if it's all in my head!

I've been trying to locate these stories for over a week now and I just give up. They're older ones, before Ultron, but Tony is kind of the outsider in the first one. Tony is ill, having one of his bad days (or bad times) as Coulson and Fury refer to it when they find out, but he's keeping it from the team. After a battle, Tony doesn't stick around for debriefing, or a dressing down since he didn't strictly follow one of Cap's orders, instead flying immediately to the Tower. But once JARVIS takes the suit off him he collapses to the floor with that support gone. With the ARC reactor taking up so much space in his chest, Tony is partial to getting pneumonia 3-4 times a year, and this time it snuck up on him. When the team gets back to the tower, they see a woman carrying a canvas bag leaving and assume that Tony's hired a hooker while Pepper's not there. Fury informs then that the woman is a doctor and Tony is very sick.

The second story I'm trying to find is one where Clint (I think) falls through an inter-dimensional hole of some sort in Avengers Tower's AC ducts. (I'm pretty sure it's the tower, but it could be SHIELD HQ.) Tony has several cleaner bots (and making more all the time) in the ducts and a lot of them have come up missing. Clint discovers where they're off too and he gets sucked through or falls into the invisible portal into a space that can almost be described as landfill in space. Clint has to survive while the team has to find him and figure how to get him out.

I am currently looking for both a fanfic and fanart and was just wondering if anyone knows of them:

Stucky fic where Bucky waits in the Valkyrie while steve is still iced (unsure if he is an angel or just dead and came back to life). He gains powers and is able to fly and can turn invisible at will, although when Steve is finally recovered from the ice no one but Steve can see him (it freaks Fury out).

I was also looking for a piece of Stucky art off Tumblr - Steve and Bucky are in a compromising position - also Steve has two dicks.

I'm looking for a specific fic where pre-Civil War, Ross captures Tony and keeps him in the Raft(?) where he is then tortured. Steve comes to the Raft to go and rescue the other Avengers like he did at the end of the movie, but doesn't realise that Tony is secretly being kept somewhere else in the Raft. He comes back when he finds out, and manages to save Tony. Does anyone know this fic???

I read the story a long time ago, so I don´t remember a lot about it, except that it was basically the Avengers movie, except the others didn´t know that Tony was Iron Man, (I don´t think he ever announced to the world that he was Iron Man), they don´t know until when they all meet for the first time in that meeting in the Helicarrier, and I don´t know if I´m exaggerating anything, but I´m pretty sure some of the reacting were like; wtf you´re Iron Man?

And that´s pretty much everything I remember, I hope it´s enough for some of you to find...

Damn rotten timing! I had just found the first story last night amidst downloading dozens of Avengers stories to read later when the computer room shut down for the night and the signal was too weak in my place to get anything. The scene in the donut shop with IM, Fury, and Widow happens as seen in the movie, but when Natasha injects him, Tony goes into cardiac arrest. The story MIGHT continue with Tony dies; JARVIS goes for revenge, but I'm not sure about that. The second story I've been trying to re-find for a while. Tony is making a tour of some lab, assessing the work of young scientists (either looking for new hires or checking on the work of those he's already hired). He's asked to check on some strange reading from one of their projects and recognizes the long thought dead JARVIS. I hope someone can help me on these; it's so bloody aggravating to try repeatedly to find something you just had an hour ago and can't get past a half downloaded page.

Happy new year, all, and let me start out with some recommendations. The first is called The Book Throwing Thing, written by AdamantSteve. The owner of a small coffee shop talks about two of his regular customers, Phil and Clint. (This is before and after the Battle of New York.) The second story is by ShippersList, called Safety Nest. A bit after the Battle of New York, a woman who owns a knitting cafe welcomes in a well-built young man who soon becomes a regular customer, falling asleep in a comfortable chair after she presses coffee and soup on him. After a bit a trio of "customers" start dropping in on separate days, seeming not pay any attention to the sleeping man: a blond man with a sketch book, a slender red-headed woman who attempts a scarf but doesn't know how to knit, and a man who looks like a professor. She also stops receiving any bills and learns that Tony Stark has bought the building. The third recommendation is a series called Callahan's Crosstown Diner written by cakeisnotpie. It's a multi POV tale, told from all the employees of the diner of their view of not only the Avengers but just about all of Marvel shows. All of these are found at Archive of Our Own. And with that out of the way -- after you read and I hope enjoyed the stories -- I hope you can recommend similar stories for me to read. Stories that I've missed of others' views and experience with the Avengers and family, Coulson and his team, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, the Defenders, Guardians, etc. Any new ones along that line that will become new favorites. I've seen this touched upon here and there in various stories but always through the eyes and reactions of the ExVengers. So I wonder if anyone has written anything Civil War and post Civil War stories of the split teams as seen by outsiders. SHIELD and ex-SHIELD agents, people on the streets of the various places they've fought, or anyone who runs into the Team Cap members while they are on the run or hiding out. I've seen a couple short scenes in much longer stories where (mostly) Steve and Wanda are reconginzed while hiding in empty buildings or trying to be incognito on the street, or people caught up in battles they've started. People have run in fear or stood up to Cap's party with fear, anger, and hate when protecting children or someone who can't flee.

Something else I wondered about was any stories during or after the Civil War from the X-Men's perspective, either Xavier's people or Magneto's people. Do they help? Do they take advantage of the chaos?

Fury has Tony kidnapped and tortured for some reason(?) and during the process Tony retreats into his mind so when he is finally released he doesn't remember anything (or possibly is just non-responsive I don't remember to what extent). Pretty sure Clint and Natasha knew about what Fury did, but the rest of the Avengers just thought he was kidnapped or missing. Possibly Steve/Tony. I can't remember anything else about it but it's been driving me crazy!

I'm reading Chessboard by Setcheti and realized that it has a storyline that can also describe the series Damage Control, (one of my favorites that i've read again and again) also by Setcheti. I'd love to find any other similiar stories. Steve Rogers realizes that Fury and SHIELD are playing some underhanded spy games with him and not telling him everything, and Tony becomes extremely hostile to him for whatever reason, and subsequently the rest of the team. He suddenly disappears and Fury realizes that Steve isn't as innocent as he's played and has more skills and knowledge of survaillance than they knew. (Note: FYI: The story is crossed with NCIS, and the series is crossed with Guardians of the Galaxy. But crossover isn't essential for what I'm looking for.)

Hey looking for fics where the avengers or Rhodes bring Tony food when he forgets or refuses to eat and hasn't eating in days, takes him from where ever he fell asleep and puts him to bed when he's beyond exhausted, or drags him from his work shop for a movie night, and tony trys to refuse and rebel, so basically fluffyish minding sleep deprived Tony stuff 😛
Oh and anything where JARVIS tells on Tony. 😁

Hi all,

I'm looking for a series of FrostIron fics. Unfortunately I don't remember much of the series but Loki was helping the Avengers against Thanos somehow. Himself and Toni were searching for the Infinity Stones I think. There was one part of the series where Fury asks for help from Doctor Strange because he doesn't fully trust Loki. It was public knowledge that Toni and Loki (or a cover persona of Loki) were dating but Strange didn't know this and Fury didn't tell him because he didn't like Strange either and wanted to kind of prank him I guess?

If anyone can remember the name of this fic or the series it's from I'd be eternally grateful!

Edit: I think the blurb was something along the lines of 'Stephen Strange doesn't trust the God of Lies further than he can throw him'. Kind of.

so this is the best written fic iv ever read, I reread it a lot and am always dieing for a continuation, but I douth that's going to happeneed, I'll put up the link, I just though to my self someone on there might know if there is any more maybe on another website or something, but I can never find passed chapter 17.
