Hi everyone! I'm looking for one specific fic and two other genres. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

1) Specific: The main pairing is Tony/Steve, but Thor/Jane/Darcy is mentioned, or I'm pretty sure at least that Darcy was involved in the relationship. Tony, Jane and Darcy watch Steve and Thor spar in the gym, and Thor wins. After Steve has had enough, they break up to shower. Steve admits to Tony that he likes Thor being stronger than him, and the rest of the story consists of Tony and Steve having sex in the shower.

2) Good Fury: I'm looking for good Fury stories. Any pairings, any genre. Please point me towards stories where Fury isn't just a jerk and has character. He doesn't even need to be the main character, I'll take him as a "supporting character". I'd prefer something with the Avengers, but anything goes.

3) Avenger Bucky: Any stories where Bucky is an Avenger and the Avengers includes the original Avengers (i.e. Tony and Bruce). Wanda, Vision, Sam, Rhodey, etc are welcome, too, of course. I'd prefer something a bit more light-hearted, but I'll take anything, any genre and any pairing. Again, Bucky doesn't have to be the main character; I'll read whatever you recommend :)

Can't really mind much about it, except that Pepper discovers that Howard created and funded SHIELD, so Tony technically owns it.

Tony is maybe in Asgard at the time?

And Fury thinks Pepper whored her way to her job position.

And Pepper and Tony have fun metaphorically bitch-slapping Fury.

May it that he is kicked from the team, loses the friendship of the others (or of some), a dress down from Fury (Coulsen), on probation or whatever. But please no happy ending for Steve!

I read this awhile back, I think it was on AO3. Basically the team is sitting around a table at S.H.I.E.L.D, debating on whether or not they should try this new,"what if Tony Stark becomes a supervillan?"

Tony's all like we shouldn't guys, it's a bad idea. Everyone will get their feelings hurt when you realize I'm awesome and would be awesome at villany too...

But Fury decides that they should, so they do and he does. The whole thing is glorious; and I've wanted to reread it several times but I just can't remember what it was called.

Hi! I've been searching for two fics in particular, and I have another general rec request.

The first fic is long, begins pre-ironman and is Tony-centric. (Also, I love angst so it probably had a healthy helping of that). I know it has Loki, and I know it has Fury -- in this fic, Fury has a huge soft spot for Tony. Tony also thinks of Fury in a more paternal way. In any case, the scene that I really remember is where Fury says "Ant. Boot." to Loki, and Tony thinks that that is so badass (and just like Fury). I think Tony was smirking or smiling? I don't know... I've been looking all over for this fic and I can't find it! Oh, and it was, because of the nature of the fic, either gen or pepperony.

The second fic (it may be the same) is also another long Tony-centric fic, but in this one, for whatever reason, Tony doesn't drink, and when he's giving his speal to Loki, Loki notices and Tony winks at him. I'm pretty sure it was tea that Tony was drinking?

Lastly, and I'm sorry that this is so long, I'm looking for any really long Tony-centric fics that start from his childhood? Preferably slash -- any pairing, but I am more of a Stony girl.

HI. I remember reading a fic that was focused on where the team was during the events of iron man 3. In the particular fic that I am trying to find, everyone was together on the helicarrier trying to keep up with tony, but he was always one step ahead. They mysteriously received video feed of what tony was doing (i.e. "watching" iron man 3) like meeting with harley or his fight in orlando. If anyone knows what this is i would be extremely grateful.

additionally, if anyone has an fics they recommend about this topic in general (team's reactions to events of iron man 3), then I would be grateful to hear about those too. Thanks!!!

I read it fairly recently and I think it was a one-shot or two-shot. It started with Harry storming the Helicarrier, seemingly evil and threatening, demanding Fury to return what he's stolen from him. The Avengers were there and Steve was very judgmental and said something about "guys like you". Then it was revealed that Fury had kidnapped Teddy, who was ill due to missing his potions, and Harry was just a parent defending his child.

I'm looking for a fic I can only remember one very specific scene from. In it, Fury is asking Tony for some notes that he inherited from Howard, either about his Tesseract research or (more likely) the Vita-Ray machine. Tony says yes, he knows which ones Fury's on about but when asked to produce them says no. He read them, understood the contents and then destroyed them (possibly shredded them, burnt the pieces then scattered the ashes in the sea? Completely destroyed, anyway.) Fury tries to insist he had no right to do so, but as they were Howard Stark's personal notes Tony wins the argument and leaves.

Anybody recognise this?

I remember quite a bit about this multi-part (I think it was close to 30 connected short stories) series that I'm certain was posted on AO3, but I can't find it in my bookmarks, so I was hoping that someone would know it offhand.

In this world, BDSM is the norm and everyone is a sub or a dom (though Tony, being Tony, is a switch, I believe, though I think he subs to Pepper). I think the primary pairing was Clint/Coulson (ironically, I can't remember who was Dom/sub, though I'm assuming that Coulson was the Dom), though as the series progressed, it explored many other relationships: Fury/Natasha - Dom!Fury and sub!Natasha), Steve/Bucky (Dom!Steve and sub!Bucky - that was a really heartwrenching part of the series and also the last couple of parts I saw posted). I don't remember with whom, if anyone, Bruce was paired, though it might have been Bruce/Betty.

Another plotline that was explored was that Justin Hammer was a sub who'd been misclassified (and abused) by his father into being a Dom. His crimes were actually somewhat excused when it was discovered.

I'm looking for a fic in which Clint gets turned into a child.
I remember that I found it on deviantart; it was pretty short and included Fury holding kid!Clint in his arms, telling Phil he has to care for Clint. Either Phil didn't recognize Clint as a kid or Fury asked him to care for Clint, then turning around to Phil and revealing the kid; I'm not sure but I think it was more like the second one.

Hey guys I need your help. I was reading this story and now I can't find it! It was about Tony and how he was captain America. Howard was tony's brother and Tony smoked. Also when he wanted to get in to the tower ( which is Steve's ) the person at the desk won't let him. I think that he also ran after someone who took an old lady's purse. The clearest part is that he cussed like a sailor. I think it was stony. This story was very good and I just want to read it again. Thanks a million!

So I found this really good fic a few weeks ago and I forgot to bookmark it and now I can't find it.

It was on AO3 I think, although it could easily be on more than one site and it was about Morgana, although everyone just called her Morgan placing mind control over Loki and then having him fight the avengers. Loki then works with the Avenger to try and destroy her. And there's an OC charater whose name I cannot remember who can turn into a cat.

Okay, I lost a fic. I thought I bookmarked it, but when I went back to my link, It wasn't the right fic. What I remember is this:

1. It was pretty big. Can't remember if there were a lot of chapters, or if they were just long. And it was unfinished last I saw.

2. Tony, Clint (and Barney), and Phil had all at a point where they were children, been dosed with the super soldier serum, but it never does the same thing to each person. Later Betty Ross is also dosed by her father.

3. Steve collapses at some point because he isn't eating enough.

4. There is a wedding for Bruce and betty on the Hellicarier.

5. Tony secretly has an actual medical degree, and an alterego to go along with it.

That's all I got folks. Can anyone help? I don't recall pairings, sorry.

Okay, I'm driving myself nuts. I thought I had this bookmarked. I thought I had it *saved* for pity's sake. Definitely on Ao3. Phil is still recovering from being stabbed thru the chest. Phil and Nick are an established couple of many years. They have a house together somewhere in driving distance of SHIELD. Clint has been in a non-romantic, non-sexual relationship with them for some time less than how long they've been a couple. Basically he's their kid. He acts younger when he's with them. No specific age, just a kid. He has a blanket. He gets read a bedtime story. He's wets the bed (not on purpose) and tries to change the sheets himself but they wake up. He's not in trouble for it but Nick puts him a diaper for the rest of the night and Phil tucks him back into bed. He gets scolded by Nick for eating in the living room and I think directly out of the cereal box.

I can remember most everything except the author and title. This is one of my favorites and I'm driving myself nuts trying to find it. Please help.

I don't have much to go on, but I remember that after the fiasco with the Bifrost, Loki fell to Midgard and became a SHIELD agent. The whole Chitauri thing was really a planned test for the Avengers, to see if they really could work together to save the world if it was ever necessary. Unfortunately, no one told the Avengers this. Loki went to Fury's office and chewed him out for letting the Hulk beat him up because this was not part of the plan, damnit! Also,, Coulson didn't die, it was an illusion or an LMD

No, it's not the Undercover Boogie, though I have read that, and it was pretty good.

Also, if anyone knows what I'm talking about here: I'm pretty sure it was a huge fic rec, and the url or title was something like "thehawkisinhisnest".

I would really appreciate it if someone could help me find a story (or possibly two that I thought were one but may be separate fics).

What I can remember is that Loki first meets Tony when he's a young child, about 8 years old. He's being picked on by some older kids and Loki helps him out. Loki meets him again a few years later and decides he'll keep an eye on Tony and help him when he needs it.

The next thing I remember is Loki being yelled at by Odin and Thor is there too. Tony is in Afghanistan at this point and Loki suddenly feels his pain and knows that he could die. He panics and begs Odin to let him go to Midgard. Odin can feel some of what Loki is feeling and tells him to go but to not interfere. I think Yinsin is able to see Loki later but none of the Ten Rings can. At the battle of New York Tony figures out that Loki is being controlled and after Loki gets Hulk smashed, he watches Tony fall. He is the one to save Tony and Tony asks him if he's ok now, if he's "back". Loki says he's back and alright and Thor realizes that Tony is Loki's favoured one.

I remember so much about it but I can't find it anywhere.

The part that I remember that I'm really starting to think is a separate fic is that Yinsin survives the Ten Rings and goes back to Stark Tower with Loki and Tony. Yinsin stays with Tony through everything and Nick Fury turns out to be Tony's god father or something? But to keep Tony safe, nobody but the two of them know about it, until he drops by after Stane's betrayal and then Yinsin and whoever else was there finds out too.

Does anyone know either of these stories? This has been driving me nuts for days now.

I'm looking for a fic I read a while ago. It was Darcy-centric, and had Jormungandr!Coulson and Fenrir!Fury, though that wasn't the main focus of the story (I think).

This is what I remember:

Darcy works as Coulson's assistant. She notices that he never seems to be bothered by hot weather, even though he always wears a suit, and comments that he might secretly be a snake. Later, it turns out that he is Jormungandr and that Fury is Fenrir. Fury wears the eyepatch to hide his eye, because he can't shapeshift it.

Evening all,

I've run into trouble tracking down a few stories so I thought I would turn to the experts here.

1. Nick Fury is Tony Stark's (unofficial) godfather. I read this one a while ago and I cannot for the life of me track it back down. Howard asked Fury to be Tony's godfather, but Fury turned him down since it was too dangerous. However, he still considers Tony to be his godson and he watches over him closely. I think the story included Fury rescuing Tony when he was kidnapped as a child and I'm nearly positive that it had SHIELD trying to locate Tony in Afghanistan. There is a scene towards the end when the invasion happens and Tony flies the nuke through the portal and Fury is worried sick because he is afraid his godson won't come back. Does this ring a bell with anyone?
1.a. Any stories where Fury is Tony's godfather/raised him/is fond of him for whatever reason, or watched out for him when he was a child. While I love the characterization of Fury being a dick and I love him butting heads with Tony, I'm craving some positive Fury/Tony interaction, with Fury having a soft spot for Tony and his antics. I know this kind of story is a rare bird, but does anyone have any ideas?

2. Steve/Tony where they are preparing for their wedding and Bucky is found alive (in the mountain pass where he fell maybe?) And suddenly rather than prepping for the wedding Steve is sitting at Bucky's bedside clinging to his hand. Tony, being the insecure man that he is, decides that Steve was only settling for marrying him and now that Bucky is back he is going to break up with Tony. So he tells the press in a moment of pure emotion that "Steve dumped my skanky ass!" and takes off and hides for a week in the house he had prepared for their honeymoon. This misunderstanding is finally resolved when he is heading back to New York to move out and stops to help the Avengers fight in Disney World (?). Thor and Bruce sit on him until Cap arrives and clears up the misunderstanding, tells the press that they are still getting married, and Coulson is currently bringing (kidnapping) the priest. Bucky and Natasha are together, which is a really big "oh" moment for Tony.

3. Tony and Steve are at a party and an old "friend" from Tony's past is there and being obnoxious and handsy. I think it is Tiberious Stone but it may be another dick from Tony's past. There are so many of them. Fairly sure it isn't Hammer, but I could be wrong. I shall call the "friend" Dick from here on out. Anyway, Dick corners Tony in an empty room and tries to convince him to cheat on Steve. I believe that Dick had previous slept with Rumiko when she and Tony were dating. Dick is peeled off of Tony by Steve and grabs one of the glasses of "cider" he had brought for Tony (who is a recovering alcoholic) and gulps it while storming off. Tony and Steve have very hot sex in the room. When done Happy interrupts them to show them a passed out Dick outside. It is implied that he had added a date rape drug to Tony's glass and grabbed the wrong glass on accident. Tony tells Happy to find Dick's handlers after he sneaks out with Steve. On the way home Happy texts Tony to tell him the room was wired and that there is video of him sleeping with Steve (implication is Dick arranged it to film him sleeping with a drugged Tony to sell to the media about Tony cheating on Steve). Tony tells Happy to destroy the tape but Steve asks for a copy since he finds it hot and has been wanting to film them anyway.

Do any of these ring a bell for anyone? I'm pretty sure all of them were on AO3 and my search-fu is failing me it seems. I'd appreciate any help.

I'm looking for a fic where Loki had been living at the Tower with the other Avengers. Fury disagreed with this decision and at one point abducts him, taking him back to S.H.I.E.L.D. for an interrogation. However, the operatives that Fury left him with decide to get some revenge for New York and torture him. I remember Steve, Bruce, and Tony driving to S.H.I.E.L.D. HQ to rescue Loki, actually passing the men that tortured Loki gloating about what they did, and finding him in a room covered with his blood and him hiding under the stretcher-like bed that was in the room. Later Natasha and Clint watch the security camera footage of the "interrogation".

This fic is driving up the wall, please someone out there tell me you remember it.

I'm looking for a fic that had Clint being captured and hypnotized several years prior to working with the Avengers. He was placed under a kind of mind control (by a random SHIELD agent -- not Coulson) that forced him to obey orders. While his mind was still his own, he couldn't disobey a direct order, and couldn't tell anybody about the hypnosis. Prior to this, I think that he'd been a rogue agent that SHIELD wanted to bring in, but he'd kept refusing their offers. I don't think that anybody else in SHIELD was aware of the hypnosis -- Clint was brought in to work with them and, while I recall him being unhappy, I believe that everyone else thought that he was there of his own volition.

The agent who had captured Clint became his handler. I recall Clint either having a choice/being asked if the arrangement was okay with him, and of course he said yes, because this agent was the only person who knew about the mind control, and was therefore the only handler who wouldn't give him orders he couldn't escape.

The agent eventually died in a car crash, and Coulson became Clint's new handler. Clint didn't like him at first, but slowly grew to trust him. I don't think that Coulson gave out orders much, but other agents did. I recall a scene where a fellow agent (Sitwell?) had told Clint to go jump off the helicarrier as a joke, and Clint, having no other choice, jumped, but was saved at the last minute.

The rest of the fic deals with the events of the Avengers and how working in a team dynamic affected Clint. The rest of the team eventually found out after a mission in the jungle went wrong -- Coulson hadn't been there, and Clint's current handler had ordered him to put himself into a dangerous situation. The rest of the Avengers watched the incident go down via video feed and realized that that Clint wasn't himself. The rest of the story slowly came out.

I don't remember much else, just that Fury fired Clint and that broke the mind control for some reason.

It was up on ff.net, as I recall, and was Clint/Coulson preslash. If anyone could help me, that'd be great -- I've been looking for this fic forever!

I remember a fic in which Nick Fury has various things he does with the team members to help keep them sane, basically. I remember that he cross-dressed Steve and was complimentary and kind to him, and that with Bruce he verbally abused him and then fucked him really roughly. Afterward he asks if Bruce wants to hang out, watch some TV, whatever, but Bruce refuses.

This is driving me CRAZY. Thanks for any help you can give.

I'm kinda little lost and in desprate search for a certain fic, i just remember one scene where Hawkeye, Loki and Fury (and also the rest of the gang?) are together and Barton shoots an arrow in Loki's face, because he's still mad for the whole mind-controlling, that explodes. Fury really doesn't care and loki tries to reassure his surrounding that it won't harm him in an deadly way. If i remember right it was a frostiron fic, but i'm, really not sure anymore.

I literally only vaguely remember the very ending of this fic.

Fury's running around being a giant evil ass, Hill hates Barton like burning and it was a Coulson lives! fixit fic (probably?). Fury says something to the effect that Barton (and Widow and Coulson???) still belong to SHIELD! Muwahaha! and Barton (or Coulson or Widow) is like, Na-ah, we handed in our resignations a few hours ago... and Hill accepted them! Fury's all Nooo, damn Hill! damn you Avnegers! and Barton's like, you know she always hated me.

As you can see I really don't remember much, but it was probably a Coulson/Clint fic or Gen because that's what I read. Probably on AO3 or maybe LJ (possibly ff.net) because that where I read. And that's all I got.
