I'm going crazy trying to find a specific fic I remember reading. I'm really hoping it hasn't been deleted and I'm just failing at searching. I may be mixing it with a similar fic, but what I remember is:

Tony's identity as Iron Man is a secret
I think it's Steve/Tony but might be Bucky/Tony or Steve/Bucky/Tony
During a battle Iron Man gets trapped under a collapsing building
Tony's kidnapped by AIM or similar mad-scientist organization
M.O.D.O.K. or someone else with mind control powers is trying to get Tony to do a thing for them, he refuses, they end up pushing the mind control hard enough to turn Tony into a vegetable
Tony's injected with Extremis in an attempt to save his mind
Steve breaks into Tony's cell just in time for Extremis to heal Tony's body and push the arc reactor out of his chest

Pretty sure the fic was pre-Civil War or Infinity War, possibly based on the comic universe instead of MCU.

Any help finding this fic (or fics if my brain is combining them) would be greatly appreciated.

I'm looking for a story I was reading a while ago, the bits I remember, Tony is a child when he first meets the Winter Soldier, Bucky keeps coming to see him over the years. When they finally meet as adults Bucky doesn't remember Tony.

I've lost a Bucky- (maybe Stucky-?) centric fic that I don't believe I ever finished. All I can remember is that Bucky as the Soldier was conditioned to have certain responses to certain foods. In one scene, Steve encourages him to eat I think it was potatoes? or something at a diner, and Bucky thinks Steve read about the conditioning in his file and is telling him to vomit for some mission-reason, so he eats, and then does. Steve and Sam(?) are horrified (as is, presumably, the lady who has to clean up the diner).

Anyone remember? Thank you in advance!

hi, I seem to have lost a fic that I want to read again.
it was an AU about the first avengers movie.
Hydra sends the Winter Soldier after Loki, but loki brings back his mind only to control him with the scepter. I cannot remember where I found it only that it was WIP and was only a few chapters long. please Help me find it! it will drive me nuts if I don't .
it might have been an avengers kink, or cap kink I don't know.
more info:I remember that when loki tried to take control of his mind via the scepter it didn't work the first time. he said "you have no heart," then touched the scepter to Bucky's head and gave him his memories back. then he controlled him.

I can't find this fic at all. Help?

Loki and Steve are hit with a spell - I think by Amora during a fight, but I am not sure about that - and end up getting together.

I distinctly remember that the Avengers are searching for Loki because Steve is suffering under the spell, and he turns out to be holed up in a castle in Scotland or England somewhere.

Loki learns that Steve isn't doing well - I think he overhears Clint and Natasha searching in the abandoned castle where he lives? - and realizes that the spell will eventually kill Steve if they don't have sex. One scene that stood out is Loki testing out the effects of the spell on rats in the castle and being increasingly worried as they all die.

He kidnaps Steve and dub-con ensues, where both parties are interested but both are also under a mind-altering spell to make them interested. After it's over, Loki flees because he thinks Steve considers him a rapist.

Can anyone help?

There was a lab accident, I think, and Tony is thrown into an alternate universe. In that universe Steve was the ultimate leader and he had lost Tony. He had Tony fitted with Extremis (I think) or had it rewritten somehow and he became pretty much a slave to Steve. He ends up back in his own universe but the changes were there to stay. Does that sound familiar? Thanks much.

Kid/JiM Loki ends up in Avengers movie, MCU Loki thinks kid Loki is his son and makes brainwashed Clint protect him. I remember kid Loki hugging his 'dad,' wondering if he can help free Clint and Selvig, and wearing a shirt that implied he's lying.
I'm fairly certain this was a kink meme fill but can't recall if it as norsekink or avengerkink...

Hey!! So recently I've read some darcy&bucky fics and i am deciding that that is my new fav. So specifically I am looking for some fics where Darcy is the one who comes across Bucky while he is still trying to get his head on straight and is ultimately the one who gets to bring him in to the avengers. I've read "The Extraordinary Friendship of Darcy Lewis and James Buchanan Barnes" by cosmicocean, the one where she finds him in a diner eating pancakes and then they have to run from hydra, and the 'Run verse pieces. Anything else that you guys would suggest?? I'm fine with any pairing really, darcy and bucky could be together or they could just be friends or bucky could be with someone else or darcy could be with someone else, whatever you find where Darcy is the one that brings bucky in is great!

and if you have any darcy&bucky fics that you think are just generally fantastic feel free to recommend those as well, always on the lookout for some great new reads!!!

i read these two fics a long while ago (last year-ish) on ao3 before i had an account there so i couldn't save them and didn't even think to just bookmark them OTL i hope someone knows what i'm looking for. i don't think either fic had any romantic relationships but had brotherly thor/loki

1) i think it took place after loki fell off of the rainbow bridge and landed somewhere like hell or something and had to fight his way out without help. hela was one of the characters, and i think she and some others just watched loki.

2) in the other fic loki had been controlled by some creature and thor, frigga, and odin found out that the real loki had been killed. the thing had taken control of him before the attack in NY and the real loki was innocent. at one point i think thor found a necklace or type of jewelry that loki had (or maybe thor gave it to him.) then thor, frigga, and odin look at a memory of the creature's where it showed loki being killed. i'm not sure what happened after that though.

I I've searched Ao3 and all my bookmarks and just can't find this. Please help! I'm looking for a long fic where Clint is a merc who is found by a low-level SHEILD agent who forces him to join the agency. The guy does some kind of mental control and Clint is not able to hit the guy or get away. Also, He's not able to tell anyone why he's joined, he must obey anyone higher ranked, and the stuck there even after the handler dies, not able to tell anyone. The story takes place over years, so I think it was really big and probably Clint/Coulson.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Trying to find these two stories in tangle of remembered scenes in newly saved fics. The first takes place right after the Battle of New York. Thor sees that Loki now has blue eyes (like the possessed Hawkeye) when he always had green eyes. He realizes that Loki was just as controlled by the Tesseract as Hawkeye had been.

The second story happen during a different (non-movie) battle. My memory is vague here so I may have the characters mixed up. Ironman is up high, hanging from a building or helicopter...I think now that it was a damaged crane. His teammates are busy with their own battles and can't get to him before the crane breaks and takes him down into the water. Any ideas here. I'm still trying to resurrect older stories into my new laptop and things keep getting misplaced. Thanks for any help.

So I found this really good fic a few weeks ago and I forgot to bookmark it and now I can't find it.

It was on AO3 I think, although it could easily be on more than one site and it was about Morgana, although everyone just called her Morgan placing mind control over Loki and then having him fight the avengers. Loki then works with the Avenger to try and destroy her. And there's an OC charater whose name I cannot remember who can turn into a cat.

I'm sorry that's not a great description but if you know what fic I'm on about please let me know, even if you just know it's name or something

So I've been searching through posts here looking for a fic that I found here not very long ago but I can't seem to find. The gist of the story I remember it was an AU where (1) Steve's a serial killer who seemingly goes after big wig bad guys and Tony did something that makes him or Rhodey believe that the killer will be coming after Tony next only instead of the killing kinda coming after Tony the killer starts leaving Tony some kinda gifts on his bed or in places without anyone really seeing it or something. -EDIT FOUND: Hiding Masks

#2 Found: What You Believe: One by one the Avengers seem to be turning on Tony, until he is isolated and alone, with no one left he can trust. Unsure what to believe anymore, betrayal seems to lurk around every corner. When he resolves to confront them, can anyone stand between him and what seems to be the inevitable destruction of the Avengers? Or is it already too late?

One last one, is a sort of AU but not really. (3) It was something about the team minus Tony getting kidnapped as bait to get Tony and when Tony showed up he was lacking the suit and there was some banter exchanged between Tony and the kidnappers. Tony also brought along some sort of tiny robots that wound up badly injuring/killing the kidnappers and then SHIELD showed up getting on Tony's case for not waiting for them to get there and Tony replied with something about running outta topics or something. I know there are a few stories that are almost the same but none of them have the killing robots and that was that part that stuck out the most in my mind so yeah if anyone can help with that one? -EDIT FOUND: Picture Perfect chapter 5

I've been searching for all three of these and I have no idea why I never bookmarked them when I had the chance and would love to be able to find them and read them again so maybe they would stop popping into my mind whilst I'm in the midst of reading other stories. Thanks!

I know this is probably a long shot, but I'm looking for an older fic (2012).

Loki has been brainwashed. I don't know if they start out knowing that or not. They're on the helicarrier and Loki's being held in a medical room. At one point, Loki tries to kill himself by jumping out of the helicarrier and Tony stops him. Loki and Darcy form a close friendship and she has a cat. She brings the cat for Loki while she's studying and Loki really likes the cat.

I'm sorry. I know that's so jumbled, but those are the parts that I can remember.

There are a couple of fics involving Tony and memory that I've been looking for that I haven't been able to relocate and I read them long ago which just makes it harder to hunt them down...plus there seems to be a number of various sections all over the place that they could be. I don't remember if they are actually relationships or if they're just general and I can only remember certain parts of it, but hopefully I remember enough for someone to help me find them.

1. Tony lost his memory completely, not really remembering anything and Steve had found him unconscious somewhere and taken him back to his apartment. Steve had a little brother (I think) and took care of Tony. I'm fairly sure that Tony and Steve began falling for each other and then Tony got his memories back and went back to his business and Steve thought he'd never see Tony again or something like that. Tony just kept showing up at Steve's place and in the end (I'm fairly sure) they got together and Steve and his brother moved in or something.

2. The team minus Tony are sent to do recon or something by S.H.I.E.L.D. and they stumble across Tony. Tony is hooked up to this machine that is using his mind for something and the enemy has him in some kind of...coma or something so that he doesn't need to eat/drink/sleep/etc. It was being hooked up to this machine that led SHIELD to send the team to do recon because Tony had sent out a signal. Steve steps in to save Tony from the situation.

And...that's all I've got so...hopefully it's enough for someone to help me find them.

Hi, I am searching for a specific story where Bucky's arm causes him pain. Not because it's broken, or his body is damaged or because his flesh arm is growing back, but because Hydra specifically designed it to make it painful, so that the Winter Soldier would be motivated to return after missions for pain relief, as a form of chemical control/aversive conditioning. Tony is working on the arm and turns off the pain-causing circuit, and Bucky either falls asleep/passes out or just goes limp all over with the relief.

I think this is post-Winter Soldier, but it may be older. I have read so many Bucky stories since CA:TWS that they've all blurred together, and my searches for this scene have come up blank.

I don't have much to go on, but I remember that after the fiasco with the Bifrost, Loki fell to Midgard and became a SHIELD agent. The whole Chitauri thing was really a planned test for the Avengers, to see if they really could work together to save the world if it was ever necessary. Unfortunately, no one told the Avengers this. Loki went to Fury's office and chewed him out for letting the Hulk beat him up because this was not part of the plan, damnit! Also,, Coulson didn't die, it was an illusion or an LMD

No, it's not the Undercover Boogie, though I have read that, and it was pretty good.

Also, if anyone knows what I'm talking about here: I'm pretty sure it was a huge fic rec, and the url or title was something like "thehawkisinhisnest".

If anyone knows either of those, it would be greatly appreciated!

I have been searching forever for this fic. Here are the criteria:

- It is ComicVerse
- It is a post Civil-War fic: In it, Steve is dead and everyone blames and turns their back on Tony. Osborn essentially has Tony under his thumb, has control over Extremis, and basically owns Tony.

Tony is fading away and no one is there to see it.

Cue disaster where Tony basically kills himself saving everyone and Steve's ghost comes down to chastise all the other heroes and basically take Tony up to heaven where everything will be okay.

Heya! I'm looking for fic in which Loki's attempt to lay the Tesseract whammy on Stark works. I was rewatching that great scene between the two of them in Tony's penthouse, and was struck by how terrified Tony looks for that instant when the scepter first touches his chest. Does anyone know of an AU in which Tony, however briefly, succumbs to The Dark Side?

My first and last request was answered super-quickly, so I'm asking to make my day once more!
Recently I've been reading a lot of fluff and happy-going and -ending stories so now I crave for some angst. But with HE! /wince/ Sorry, I'm primitive like that.

I'm looking for slash, any pairing though Steve and Tony and Bruce are my favourites. Can be get-together or established.

Basically, I want some trust or self-esteem issues. It could be heavy - like being previously tortured or experimented on by military (Bruce). A bit lighter - like bad relationship in the past, not necessarily with abuse or non-con, maybe just not being appreciated and thinking he should always offer something in return. Wanna see how the couple deals with it, the other partner knowing all along or gradually finding out, doesn't matter.
Can be an AU without superpowers, 'm not picky)

Some examples:
Assume a Defensive Stance AO3, Clint/Bruce, Clint thinking himself being a good lay is the only thing he can offer and Bruce being wonderful and protective)
Red Against White AO3, Bruce/Tony, team finds out about Ross experiments )

hi, hopefully someone can help me find this.

in the fic after the avengers movie loki's taken back to asguard where he has a miscarriage caused by the hulk throwing him about like a doll. it's a known fact in the 9 realms that some children in the womb can cause their mothers to go insane and basically warp and semi control their minds and in fact odin caused just that in his mother. because of this quirk the parent affected is considered blameless while all acts caused by the "mother" are considered the fault and crimes of the child and after birth are punished for them. once loki comes back to sanity he regrets what happened and goes back to midgard with thor to help even though he's still ill. it's from what i can remember a thor/loki fic and it was on either fanfiction.net or archive of our own. i think it was a wip and i remember the other avengers not believing about the baby being the one to cause loki's actiions and mental instability. any help would be very much appreciated. thanks in advance.
