Looking for two different fics.

First one, placed fully in Asgard, is about politics as someone(s) are trying to wrench the power from the royal family. The one pulling the strings turns out to be Odin's right hand man and one of the head figures of the council (if not an advisor). He had been friends with Odin for a long time so even Odin was shocked at this. Loki was king at the start of the story. Involves lots of politics and plotting on both sides.
I remember one scene vividly: they cannot accuse Odin's right hand man because of lack of evidence, so confession might be the only option. Thor takes matters into his own hands and visits the man's study, and proceeds to calmly tell him that he loves Loki (as Loki was endangered by the political plot?) and that he would do anything for his brother. Thor, in his youth, had tortured a dark elf to death with Mjölnir's lightning and felt no remorse, now threatening the councilman's kin with the same fate. It was a great scene as Thor, taking great care with the shots being so high, managed to come across menacing yet calm about it. The councilman confesses in the end.

Second one is an older fic, involving only the original Avengers from the first movie and some characters from Asgard. In it Steve died, or was cursed/poisoned/whatever so that his soul departed his body and went into Hel. The Avengers get help from Asgard and go into Helheim to retrieve Steve. I don't remember if it was actually bones they found there, but they found what they were looking for. On the way back they get threatened by dead souls, but get saved by glowing lights (which turn out to be Howling Commandoes). In Asgard some magic happens and Steve gets back to life. Idunn's apples may have been involved.

Unfortunately I don’t really remember the plot, just a few key things: it’s an unfinished fic, Loki travels back in time to be near Tony, who is with Pepper at the time (his Tony died in the alternate timeline?)
He brings the bots from the other timeline, Dum-e and U, with him and hides them in a small museum for agriculture and paints them yellow. Tony eventually finds out and the take them to the tower. Loki also summons Jarvis (calls him Spirit, to hide his identity) and gives him a iron legion body.
The pairings were Pepper/Tony, maybe Tony/Loki and Tony/Pepper/Loki

Hello everyone! I'm looking for this fic. I read it a long time ago and I can not find it.

I remember I did not have a special relationship.

-Thor and Loki lived with the avengers in the tower.

-Bruce was like Loki's psychological therapist, and although Loki did not want to talk to him at first, he slowly opened up.

- There is a scene in which Loki is forced to help in the reconstruction of New York and meets a girl who was affected by the attack (the girl does not recognize that it was Loki who destroyed New York).

-Later, when Loki begins to change and get along with the Avengers, especially Bruce and Steve, Jotunheim asks Asgard that Loki should comply with his sentence in the ice kingdom.

-Thor promises Loki to visit every day, even Steve and Brucelo visit. In his confinement in Jotunhem, Loki encounters three children who lost their home (in their attack on the kingdom) and meets their mother who is alive and who also has other brothers.

Help! Does anyone know him?

Looking for a story where odin had loki serverly punshied for his crimes. I remember Loki had been sexually abused so serverly that tony and bruce had remove put of his bowel. I also remrmber that Loki had some kind of condtioning done to him and that the sugery was done by a medical rebot. I also think it might be frostiron but am not sure.

I want to reread a specific fic, Loki/OMC, but can't seem to find it. All I remember is that the OMC was your stereotypical "redneck", right down to having the name ~~Billy Bob~~ Jim Bob (or something very similar). But he defied stereotypes by being gay (or bi) and falling in love with Loki, and treating him well; Loki, for his part, surprised everyone by falling in love with this uncouth "peasant". The relationship was surprisingly functional and written quite adorably.

I actually think this exact fic was requested by someone else and found here relatively recently, but I can't seem to find that entry. Maybe it was recced or requested in some other comm?

Hi, i'm looking for a fic i've read last year that i just can't seem to find.
It was in progress (and probably still is), probably on Archive of Our Own.
It's an AU which ignores the Thor and Avengers Movies, Thor had gotten sick/injured and the most effective cure was a jotun horn.
Odin decides to have Loki kidnapped and kept in the dungeons so the healers can have the horn to cure Thor.
Loki didn't know who had him imprisoned, maybe Thor later found out but i'm not sure.

I'm looking for a story I read some time ago. This is the only scene I can remember from it. Loki is a prisoner on Asgard and has been sentenced to (execution?). Loki escapes by turning into an insect (fly?) and hiding on Frigga's (shoe?). I think Frigga knew Loki was there and was helping him escape. Does anyone remember a story with a scene like this in it?

I've been on a Loki kick recently, so I'd also love to have any recs for your favorite stories where Loki is the protagonist and is not a total bad guy. Thanks so much!

Hello there, I am looking for two specific fics and I was hoping this community could help me find them! C:

The first fic I'm looking for is basically a groundhog day. It's in Tony's point of view and he figures out he's reliving the invasion over and over again. (Not believing it himself at first, believing it to be a dream, until it happens again.) He wakes up to Jarvis warning him that Pepper is on his way up for a meeting? And that's how it starts the first and second time. Once he figures out that this is actually happenin - and that he's the only one on the team that remembers - he tries to stop clint from becoming mind controlled whilst also trying to save Phil. In one of the loops he lets New York blow up from the bomb, in another Phil is leading the Alien invasion, etc. He figures out that Loki also remembers the time loops and they figure out that a time loop starts over when one of them dies. I believe it's Loki/Tony and I never finished reading... Also a stray detail I remember is that to get Fury to believe Stark, Tony tells Fury the code word 'Pink Tutu'

The second fic is a bit vague - I apologise - since I haven't read it in a long long while, and the details are kinda fuzzy. However I know that in the fic Tony Stark was a mutant. I know his mutation caused him to grow wings. I know they grew in as a child; and that Maria and Jarvis (The butler) helped Tony hide them from Howard. I know the Ten Rings cut them off when he was in Afghanistan. I know they started to grow back when the Avengers moved in. I also know he tried to hide them with a long brown trench coat. It might have been the middle of Summer? I vaguely remember Hawkeye being suspicious because it was summer and he was wearing a long and thick ass trench coat. I also remember that once they found out and everyone was cool with it, (I think they were living in the Malibu house and not the Tower or maybe they were vacationing at the Malibu house?) Hawkeye challenged him to do a really hard trick that fighter pilots do, or something like that. It was a really complicated Pilots move, that he did pull off with little effort. That's it. That's all I remember. Sorry it's a tad vague. Thank you guys for the help! C:

All I remember is Thor telling the other Avengers some of the social reforms Loki worked on over the years. Something about allowing disabled veterans apprenticeships so they could be allowed to marry. Cue Avengers shock.

Ages ago, when I had just joined the fandom, I read this fic. I can't recall if it was set directly post-Avengers; or if it was one of those fics where Loki never got captured at the end of the movie and goes on to occasionallly wreck havoc on Midgard.
In the fic, the Avengers team is confronting Loki and he performs some kind of spell, which goes terribly awry. The Avengers are then transported into his mind- which is an incredibly effed up place. They encounter a younger, scared version of Loki, a Jötunn version of Loki, see some awful memories- shiz like that. I'm not positive, but I think they have to navigate through his mind to find the "current" Loki, who might be able to get them out, or something- I'm not exactly sure. Either way, they go traipsing around and, at the very least, gain a better understanding of their enemy and realize that thesituation isn't so black-and-white.

I can remember ALL THIS DETAIL- but not the name of the fic. Please halp?

I'm looking for a fic in which Loki finds Tony being held prisoner by Hydra and instead of killing him he kidnaps him and takes him to his lair, which is a house surrounded by a waterfall. Tony is pretty broken by what Hydra did to him. Loki is frustrated at how docile he is, and also has Thanos' arrival to prepare against. I don't know if it was a WIP or unfinished of if I just never finished reading it but I can't remember the ending.

I am searching for a relationship-free from what i remember, and also just one chapter long. It was an Avengers fic were Loki gets fed up and tells Thor he do not see him as his brother, and Thor finally just gives up and starts ignoring Loki, walking away from him after battles. Loki then starts attacking the city without any real strategy, and i am sure it ends with Loki sneaking into Thors room it Avengers tower, holding a knife of ice to his throath and admitting he misses Thor caring. It all ended with Tony and Bruce arriving to the room, and Loki telling Thor that he would try redemption for his brothers sake. It was not a slash story, but a cute story of brothers. If that rings any bells with someone i would be most grateful for a link or a name!

Thought it was on AO3, but haven't been able to find it there on FF. Loki and Tony crash land and both are very badly hurt. They are taken in my the local, very bureaucratic gov't, who heal them and "fix" their irregularities, aka make them both full Jotun. They have virtually no memories from before, and end up settling into their new lives on the planet running an ice berry farm in the frozen areas of the planet. Become quite wealthy because the berries are a delicacy and nobody else is crazy enough to live in the conditions required for them to grow. I remember there being kids. Thor eventually finds them and memories start returning, possibly not in that order.

Anybody? Help!? Many, MANY of thanks in advance, I've been searching a couple days now.

Hi, all!

I'm looking for a story that I don't remember too many details about, BUT what I do remember is that Loki, who was raised Jotunn is on the run with one of his older brothers who is abusive and injures Loki multiple times while they're looking for shelter. I'm not so sure on why they're on the run - I'm assuming that Laufey was overthrown at some point and the royal family is being hunted/executed. Loki's older brother debates with himself on at least one occasion about whether or not he should just kill Loki to lighten his burden (and because Loki is such a weakling, he'll probably end up dying anyway). But Loki's older brother thinks that killing Loki would be a kindness. They have a very weird relationship.

I'm 95% sure that the story was slash (since that's the bulk of what I read), but I have no recollection of the pairing. Thanks to anyone who can find this!

I'm looking for a story where Loki is sent to Charles Xavier's school so that the Professor can try and heal his mind after Thanos' control of him. After some time and a lot of friction Loki improves and starts teaching classes. After and attack by Stryker's forces and an out in the press about the mutant menace Thor assumes the worse and comes to the school in attack mode, demanding his brother to take him home in chains. A lot of Loki's progress is knocked back but he is heartened when the students stand up for him and defend him to his angry (and misinformed) brother.

Hi, I've been trying to find this fic for a while, without success, could you please help? What I remember of the plot was: as a punishment for Loki's crimes in Avengers Odin takes away Loki's magic, he's left to wander in the city (NY, I believe) and he suffers a LOT, even being arrested I'm not mistaken. Then, I don't remember how, the Avengers find him, and bring him to the tower, but most of them are very hostile with Loki, mostly Hawkeye and Widow. I hope I'm not confusing fics and merging them into one hahaha, but I'm pretty that there's such story. Thank you for your help!

Hi! I read this one a while ago but can't find it now. I'm sure Tony was pregnant. The rest of the Avengers were away for some reason. Loki is their ally, but they don't entirely trust him. Tony gets kidnapped and Loki comes with him to protect him. Some magician wanted his unborn child for a ritual. The baby isn't old enough so the magician was accelerating its age,all while it was still in Tony. They were at Stonehenge. At one point the rest of the Avengers thought they found Tony by tracing his arc reactor but it was a trick. I've tried searching but can only find one where Steve is kidnapped and Loki sent to save him, also at Stonehenge (dangerous place!). I hope this sounds familiar to someone! Thanks in advance!

So I'm looking for two types of fics involving Sleipnir:

1. Do you know any good humor fics where Sleipnir is Loki's child (like in the norse myths), and the avengers find out? I've read a few of these, but they've usually been apart of more serious/angsty fics. I just want some funny ones, where the other avengers are really shocked or horrified about the whole sleipnir story - particularly if they had no prior knowledge about the myth.

2. Any fics where Sleipnir is Loki's child, but his birth doesn't involve the other Asgardians being completely awful to him like in the myth. I've read a few fics that pretty much follow the myth and have the other Asgardians/Odin threaten to punish him severely if he doesn't come up with a solution to the wall issue (thus leading to the whole Sleipnir situation), but I want some where maybe Loki comes up with the idea himself with no threatening involved, or where other people are sympathetic about what he's gone through (if this makes any sense, because I have a feeling I'm doing a terrible job at explaining what I'm looking for).

For the past 2 days i have been looking for a fanfic on ao3 about loki who is on asgard and is jotun blue possibly a war bride to thor, the Olympians come to Asgard, and loki meets Hermes messenger god and the two become friends, and they find a portal and they travel through there to midgard, the portal takes them to any time, they were there when the Berlin wall was taken down, when he met steve rogers and the commando, and when he meets tony but is cockblocked by obie, when something drastic is about to happen to him by thor he leaves through the portal landing on midard today and is sorrounded by shield who wants to know why he is here. hi, I seem to have lost a fic that I want to read again.
it was an AU about the first avengers movie.
Hydra sends the Winter Soldier after Loki, but loki brings back his mind only to control him with the scepter. I cannot remember where I found it only that it was WIP and was only a few chapters long. please Help me find it! it will drive me nuts if I don't .
it might have been an avengers kink, or cap kink I don't know.
more info:I remember that when loki tried to take control of his mind via the scepter it didn't work the first time. he said "you have no heart," then touched the scepter to Bucky's head and gave him his memories back. then he controlled him.

I've read a few fics where Loki becomes an avenger, but I'm wondering if there are any long, well written series out there. It doesn't even have to have him becoming an official member of the team, as long as he's a good guy, and is on good terms with the team (kind of like the Housemates series).

I've noticed a number of fics where Loki either turns into a girl, or is a gender fluid character, but I'm looking for fics where he's always been a girl - whether everyone knows this, or they find out later on, I don't mind. So ever since reading "Life In Reverse" by Lise, I've been craving some fanfiction where Loki either joins the avengers or S.H.I.E.L.D. However, I want fics set before the Avengers movie, before Thor joins the team, or where Loki joins the team instead (so basically similar to the fic I mentioned above, where Loki joins S.H.I.E.L.D after the events of "Thor"). I don't mind if Thor is in the story, so long as he comes in later. And I'd prefer gen, but I don't mind slash fanfiction, as long as it isn't Thorki.

I opened a story that started with Loki being removed from his cell on Asgard after some time, being taken to the throne room, and Odin saying something about him looking thin, or are you eating, or something. And Loki laughing, struck by how ridiculous that statement is.

Then I closed the document and it vanished!

I know that is such a small amount to go on, but does that ring a bell for anyone?

I'm looking for a fic I read ages ago. From what I recall, SHIELD somehow discovered Asgard, so Odin sent Thor and Loki down to act as emissaries/diplomats/ambassadors. Thor hadn't been banished so he's very arrogant towards SHIELD and Loki's just exaspaerated and trying to stop Thor from causing an intergalltic incident. I know there was a scene where an astroid was going to hit New York but Loki stopped it and was scared because he wasn't supposed to reveal his powers to civillians. He was surprised when both the civillians and SHILED thanked him. There was some other stuff too. I know there were some military pilots (?) introduced but I honestly do not know if they were the authors oc's or cross-over characters. I do know this fanfic was posted on fanfiction.net but I can't remember if it's the Thor or Avengers catagory. Here's hoping someone knows!

Hey,
I'm looking for stories where Loki never try invade Earth or don't do any villain think at all, but he end up at Earth and live normal life 'till he met Tony and they fall in love. He could land on Midgard after "Thor" and decide to start new life or run away form Asgard becase something , just noting too angsty. I am not looking for Avernger Loki stories at least not from the start. More like they all met and then find out he is Asgardian.
