Hi

Am new to this fandom and am trying to find some great/epic Bucky(Solider)/Steve fic.

Needs to be complete, long (like to get emersed into a story) and have angst . Prefer it to be after Winter solider movie and have Bucky dealing/remembering/recovering.

Have been trolling Ao3 but only finding one offs and and heaps of bottom!Steve, which really isn't my thing.

Thought it was on AO3, but haven't been able to find it there on FF. Loki and Tony crash land and both are very badly hurt. They are taken in my the local, very bureaucratic gov't, who heal them and "fix" their irregularities, aka make them both full Jotun. They have virtually no memories from before, and end up settling into their new lives on the planet running an ice berry farm in the frozen areas of the planet. Become quite wealthy because the berries are a delicacy and nobody else is crazy enough to live in the conditions required for them to grow. I remember there being kids. Thor eventually finds them and memories start returning, possibly not in that order.

Anybody? Help!? Many, MANY of thanks in advance, I've been searching a couple days now.

hi, I seem to have lost a fic that I want to read again.
it was an AU about the first avengers movie.
Hydra sends the Winter Soldier after Loki, but loki brings back his mind only to control him with the scepter. I cannot remember where I found it only that it was WIP and was only a few chapters long. please Help me find it! it will drive me nuts if I don't .
it might have been an avengers kink, or cap kink I don't know.
more info:I remember that when loki tried to take control of his mind via the scepter it didn't work the first time. he said "you have no heart," then touched the scepter to Bucky's head and gave him his memories back. then he controlled him.

Hey!! So recently I've read some darcy&bucky fics and i am deciding that that is my new fav. So specifically I am looking for some fics where Darcy is the one who comes across Bucky while he is still trying to get his head on straight and is ultimately the one who gets to bring him in to the avengers. I've read "The Extraordinary Friendship of Darcy Lewis and James Buchanan Barnes" by cosmicocean, the one where she finds him in a diner eating pancakes and then they have to run from hydra, and the 'Run verse pieces. Anything else that you guys would suggest?? I'm fine with any pairing really, darcy and bucky could be together or they could just be friends or bucky could be with someone else or darcy could be with someone else, whatever you find where Darcy is the one that brings bucky in is great!

and if you have any darcy&bucky fics that you think are just generally fantastic feel free to recommend those as well, always on the lookout for some great new reads!!!

This plot idea has been on my mind for almost a week now and I don't know where it came from; I don't recall ever reading an Avenger story like it. Here goes: An Avenger (your choice) is slowly slipping into madness. It could be hearing voices. Or spells of catatonia. Or falling into an uncontrollable rage and lashing out. (No Bruce for this one; the behaviour can't be nornal for them.) Maybe swift mood changes; going from rage to giddy to weepy. Or they're showing alzheimer's symptoms where they don't recognize their teammates or surroundings for several minutes.

How does it take for the person and the team ro recognize somethings wrong. How does the person cope. How does the team cope. How about public backlash when they're affected in public during a mission or public appearance. I think a lot of interesting thing can be done with this idea. How 'bout it, hun?

So! I read this fic AGES ago, and I absolutely CANNOT find it!

Tony had a Norse name, it wasn't Tony. He preferred to be called Tony, though, as a nickname.

I think he and Loki were twins.

I can't remember exactly why, but he was thrown off the Bifrost by Odin. I think it might have had something to do with him realizing that he and/or Loki were Jotunn.

On Earth, Tony doesn't remember his time in Asgard.

When Loki invades, one of them recognizes the other, i think. There is a blast and both of them are thrown into the walls. When they wake up, Loki's cranial recalibration was done by the wall,, he's normal again, and Tony remembers.

If anyone knows the fic I'm talking about, please please please help me out!

Ok I'm a sucker for the AU where Steve becomes the winter soldier and buckey wakes up and is ether coerced or volunteers to become captain America. I have red a few but I'm always on the lookout for more recommend them all to me. ^__^

One I remember reading is Buckey still looses his arm and is given a prosthetic and while visiting the captain america exhibit is kidnapped along with a lot of other people by disguised hydra goons and the winter soldier.

There are a couple of fics involving Tony and memory that I've been looking for that I haven't been able to relocate and I read them long ago which just makes it harder to hunt them down...plus there seems to be a number of various sections all over the place that they could be. I don't remember if they are actually relationships or if they're just general and I can only remember certain parts of it, but hopefully I remember enough for someone to help me find them.

1. Tony lost his memory completely, not really remembering anything and Steve had found him unconscious somewhere and taken him back to his apartment. Steve had a little brother (I think) and took care of Tony. I'm fairly sure that Tony and Steve began falling for each other and then Tony got his memories back and went back to his business and Steve thought he'd never see Tony again or something like that. Tony just kept showing up at Steve's place and in the end (I'm fairly sure) they got together and Steve and his brother moved in or something.

2. The team minus Tony are sent to do recon or something by S.H.I.E.L.D. and they stumble across Tony. Tony is hooked up to this machine that is using his mind for something and the enemy has him in some kind of...coma or something so that he doesn't need to eat/drink/sleep/etc. It was being hooked up to this machine that led SHIELD to send the team to do recon because Tony had sent out a signal. Steve steps in to save Tony from the situation.

And...that's all I've got so...hopefully it's enough for someone to help me find them.

It was a AU where Steve fell off the train and became the Soldier but Buckey crashed the plane and lost a arm. he is defrosted given a metal prosthetic and then one day while at the cap America museum exhibit is kidnapped by this mysterious group and is forced to have sex with a mysterious stranger who reminds him a lot of Steve, then at the end he defuses a bomb and a war memorial. It was on AO3 if memory serves me.

I'm looking for two specific stories and I've forgotten where I read them. One was told from Natasha's POV where she wakes up in an alternate universe. One by one the other avengers wake up to themselves as well, I think after spending some time with Steve who is a bartender. I think the parings were Natasha/Bruce, Steve/Tony and Clint/Coulson. Clint might still have been under Loki's control.

The other is a story where Steve was Captain America and is now Tony's bodyguard, after what happened in Afghanistan. Tony hasn't been doing well and Steve helps him. I remember one scene where Tony and Steve are arguing about two different things, not realizing what the other is arguing about. Steve broke Tony's front door and Tony was kidnapped again.

Does either of these ring any bells with anyone?

I'm looking for fic, where Thor was taking Loki back to Asgard in end of Avengers movie, but they landed some unknown planet. Loki was able to explain that he was mind controlled and he has some kind of tracker in his brain. Odin and Frigga appear and Odin is able to destroy tracker from Loki's brain, but Loki's brain is damaged... That's all I read... Or I just don't remember anymore.

I'll be moving upstate in a few days and would really appreciate some fic recs to dump on my ereader! I'm looking primarily for stories that are epic in length, 50k words at least. Most of my reading so far has been in the Thor/Loki part of the fandom, but I'm branching out to Loki/Tony a bit as well. Completed fics are preferred, but active WIP are very welcome as well!

I tend towards slash fics, but am open towards het pairings or OT3+ pairings as well. Slow buildup for romance is great, although fics that deal with already established relationships are also good. Lots of drama! High tension! But also some comedy or fluff to balance it out. (Pretty much anything by scifigirl47 for example. XD ) I like fics that can hit a range of tone but still come together coherently.

I am an absolute stupid sucker for the following: jotun!Loki, competant!Thor, Tony being a smartass, Clint living in vents, Pepper being awesome, Avengers family feels, Tony's robots, space pirates (I blame Bend Around the Wind for that), Norse mythology ala Asgard, mythology remixes, putting the "universe" in MCU, exploring Jotenheim, exploring Jotuns, intersex!Jotuns, Loki getting 'redeemed' but still being a snarky little morally gray bastard, arranged marriage, the Avengers going from a team to a family, Natasha keeping her cool while everyone else loses their shit, etc.

Death!fics and heavy angst fics I have to take on a case by case basis. I can get immense satisfaction out of fics that put me through the emotional wringer, but don't enjoy stuff that makes me feel like I'm getting punished for reading it.

tl;dr : Moving, need long fics, so what's your favorite pairing/trope and what would you call its must read epics?

(FLAG [Fanfiction Lightweight Automated Grabber) is pretty damned awesome for folks trying to download from fanfiction.net and a tidy handful of other websites! )
