I'm looking for a storie from which I have only read a short summary and now I can't get it out of my head.
Sadly the one who rec it to me said she didn't know if the story was already translated in Englisch because it was written in Chinese so if someone has any information I would be very happy!

I think the story got called "It happened three nights" ?
It was a story in which Steve didn't get the serum and Bucky went to war where he fall from the train.
5 years later skinny Steve found him as the Winter Soldier and they got together again?

That's all I remember and I would love to read it in Englisch (because I don't speak Chinese *gg*)

I was just watching Iron Man the other day and rediscovering my love for the film that kicked off the MCU.

I don't read fanfiction as much as I used to and, trying to get back into it, I have grown incredibly picky. I spent a half hour on AO3 last night and only found 1 fic that held my interest.

So, I am looking for angsty Tony fics that are in character. No woobie!Tony (though I know everyone reaches their breaking point lol). Gen/Slash/Non-con, anything goes. But I mainly want to see Tony being Tony :)

Also willing to take an Avengers fic if we stay with Tony most of the time.

So I finally got 'round to watching Civil War and it gave me a LOT of Tony/Rhodey feels... so I'm looking for

- 5+1 type fics where 5 times Rhodey takes care of Tony n one time Tony care of Rhodey
- Tony n Rhodey as parents
And last but not least
- Tony being really possessive of Rhodey (Give me back my Rhodey)

I'd prefer bottom/sub!Tony but it's fine either way.

So ever since reading "Life In Reverse" by Lise, I've been craving some fanfiction where Loki either joins the avengers or S.H.I.E.L.D. However, I want fics set before the Avengers movie, before Thor joins the team, or where Loki joins the team instead (so basically similar to the fic I mentioned above, where Loki joins S.H.I.E.L.D after the events of "Thor"). I don't mind if Thor is in the story, so long as he comes in later. And I'd prefer gen, but I don't mind slash fanfiction, as long as it isn't Thorki.

Hi,

Looking for a fic that provides and alternative beginning to avengers. Coulson is assigned to check on Stark and he takes Clint with him.

He realised how much Tony is suffering with PTSD and cares for him.

I remember that clouson and clint share tonys bed but there is nothing sexual about it. Most of it is based in the Malibu house and Coulson stands up to Fury and refuses to leave Tony while he is still recovering.

Does this sound to familiar to anyone? I have had no luck finding it.

It was a one-shot set with the Howling Commandos, which I think was a five times or a 5+1, with moments where Bucky's enhancement went (mostly) unnoticed, at least by the others.

The two things I remember were Bucky the Commandos doing farm work (bailing hay?) and Bucky keeping pace with Steve mostly unnoticed, and the fact that Bucky was hungry all. the. time. but didn't say anything. (There may have been a mention of Steve getting larger rations, but I can't remember.)

I could be mixing up fics, but I don't think I am.

Please help, not being able to find it is driving me up a wall.

ETA: I'm pretty sure I read it on AO3.

I was thinking back on the Avengers movie where Coulson admitted to watching Steve while he was sleep. I wondered if any existed where Tony also visited Steve, and/or watched Steve before he was woken. Maybe on his own or along with Coulson. Be nice to find any, but I'd love it if it was just gen and not really a pairing.

I'm would love to read a fic centered around Rumlow's extreme dislike of Clint. It could be for a variety of reasons but at the top of my list it would be someone to the effect of "I can't believe an uneducated carney outranks/out-spars/out-everything's me."

Bonuses would include homophobia (whether Clint is openly gay or presumed to be) and/or ableism (if you go against movie canon, which I prefer, to make Clint deaf or HOH).

Okay, so I have recently started reading Avengers-fanfiction, and I find that I really, really like it. I mostly prefer fics with slash-pairings, but gen is good too.

I really hope you can help me, because this has been bugging me. Because I can barely find any of these, and I really hope there's more.

1. I read a fic where Steve was one of the soldiers with Tony in the humvee, and he goes temporarily deaf. So I was wondering if there are any fics where Tony becomes permanently/temporarily deaf, blind or mute either while in Afghanistan or during the Avengers? Or comes back from Afghanistan permanently injured (that is not the arc reactor, but he has that too), maybe he had to amputate an arm? Maybe even no one knows of this injury?

2. Any fics that closely follow the original timeline (MCU), but Howard Stark isn’t dead? Or he is brought forward in time? And then he is either a really good father, a bad father or a mix between them.

3. I also read a Howard/Steve-series, The Joys of Step-Parenting, where Steve becomes Tony’s Step-Father, so I was wondering if there are any other fics like that because I literally fell in love. Steve as Tony's step-father. I really liked that idea.

4. (added this as I noticed I had managed to hit a wrong tag.. hidden identity) I have read a lot of these, where iron man's identity is hidden. This got me thinking. Are there any fics where everyone wears masks to hide their identity, so that even the Avengers don't know who they are actually fighting with?

I would be really happy for any fic-recs received. They don't have to be spot on, but similar is good. I'll accept any pairings, even if I am more inclined to read slash-pairings, I can even read fics with no pairings or with het-pairings. I just really want to read more fics like this if it was possible. The length of the fics don't really matter, although I love longfics, I can read shortfics too. Just not any crack, please.

1. I remember it is a pre-Thor fic/au. An arranged marriage between Loki and Thor. Loki is always!female and raised on jotunheim. Thor is very abusive. Eventually he realizes how horrible he is after Loki becomes preganant. He allows her to leave the palace and live in the mountains. I've been thorough the female loki tag, arranged marriage, forced marriage, and jotunn loki. Nada

2. Loki is stuck in the Hulk cage with Bruce. In response he takes on his jotunn form. It's not the one where he takes charge and shape shifts then gets pregnant. Instead it's all instinctual.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Hi, I'm in love with Bucky and was wondering if there are any stories that focus or mention the fact that Bucky is younger than Steve or have one of the team kind of treating him like the baby of their family. Maybe Bucky lied to Steve, said he was a year older when in fact he was a year younger than Steve. He did it because he was so much bigger than Steve he didn't want to make the size difference worse when they were kids. Or Maybe the team only counts the years Bucky was living free, not under anyone control or frozen so now Steve has a few years on him. Would really love Bucky's frustration at being treated as younger but he really loves having the other looking out for him.

Also any fics dealing with Bucky being sick past or present. Maybe where he's missed a lot of the standard vaccinations because he was kept frozen so long. His handlers thought the serum he was created with would cover things but it doesn't and Bucky is prone to common illness.

Really anything with the team taking care of Bucky would be great.

I read a fic a while back and i would like to read it again but i can't seem to find it.

I think it was a complete fic, set before the Thor movie. I remember it was about a quest with thor, loki, sif and the warriors three. I think they went to another realm but i'm not sure. What I do remember is that they had to fight a giant spider and Loki tricked it to help them out and got injured in the process, possibly poisoned too. He wouldn't tell Thor but i think Sif (or maybe Hogun?) noticed he was injured and Thor mother-henned him until they got to the bifrost. That's all i remember.

Also, I would really love to read other pre-Thor fics, especially ones with emphasis on Loki's skills. I really like fics that show that Loki was a capable, intellegent member of their group and i LOVE fics where Thor, Sif and the warriors three finally realize this.

If anyone has fics like that, that would be amazing!

I'm looking for a specific fic. I think it was on the Kink Meme, but I don't know for sure.

Anyway, when Clint joined SHIELD he got a personal promise from Fury that he would never have to do any missions of a sexual nature (because he'd been raped in the past). Anyway, he gets assigned to a handler that just want to get promotions, gain status and doesn't really care about his agents at all.

During one mission, the mark they're agenting at is gay and Clint matches his prefered type. So asswipe handler forces Clint to do seduce the mark through sex, but Clint gets a panic attack in the middle. The mission is blown, a few people are seriously hurt (not sure whether or not anyone died). Jackbutt handler talks the other agents into testifying against Clint, lying that Clint volunteered and insisted on doing that mission, that he never protested and all that. Meanwhile Clint has pretty much clammed up, especially when all the rest of SHIELD is bullying him about what happened.

Coulson doesn't buy that load of crap, and gets to the bottom of it all. The asshole handler gets demoted and Coulson takes over as Clint's handler. I think it might've progressed into Clint/Coulson, but I don't remember anymore.

Does it sound familiar to anyone?

1) I'm looking for a specific clint centric fic that I read ages ago, probably only shortly after the avengers came out in cinema. It was about Clint's recruitment and his childhood in the circus. Probably eventually clint/coulson though could have been gen. Epic length and I'm sure I read it on Ao3. I only vaguely remember that it portrayed the relationship between Clint and Barney really well and there was a particular scene that I remember clearly in which Clint came out to Barney by calling himself a fag very casually. 1) I am looking for a specific fic that I read probably 2-3 years ago, but I can't remember much about it so finding it is proving a challenge. Basically what I remember is that it began before all of the movies going throughout Tony's childhood and then into the movies (maybe??).... Steve was still frozen in the ice and I think he was a ghost (or something like it) who only Tony could see. It was a slow build Steve/Tony fic and I remember something having to do with Obadiah Stane, but that's it really. I think it was a longer fic, probably at least 20k-30k words and I am fairly sure I read it on AO3.

2) Specific Themed Recs - I am in the mood for fic somewhat along the same lines as the specific fic I am looking for... basically, I want AU fics where Steve and Tony meet before the Avengers. Maybe Steve was de-thawed early and helped Tony when he was in Afghanistan, or more where Steve is a ghost, has a soulbond with Tony so they interact while Steve is in the ice, etc. Just basically fics that have a younger Tony interacting and falling in love with Steve long before, during or soon after he becomes Iron Man.

The story I'm looking for takes place before any of the movies, Thor and Loki are children. Loki wants to go sledding, even though it's summer, so they go convince Heimdall to send them to Midgard. Thor steals his father's shield to use as a sled. The story has the realms as branches of Yggdrasil, so when Thor and Loki careen off a huge mound of snow, they end up crash-landing in Jotunheim. They're taken prisoners, and Odin goes to convince Laufey to set them free. Odin offers to trade the Casket of Ancient Winters for his children, and Laufey, who by this point has worked out that Loki is not Odin's child but his own (It was really cold in Jotun dungeons and his blue skin showed up) says very specifically, that he is willing to trade Odin's offspring for the Casket. Loki is not biologically Odin's offspring, so Laufey gets to keep him. Odin doesn't pick up on this, agrees, but doesn't get Loki when he comes back the next day with the casket. He's not willing to go to war though, so he leaves with Thor. Thor is extremely angry at this, I think he throws some things in his room and yells at Sif and the Warriors 3. Loki finds out he's a prince of Jotunheim, has a sister named Helblindi and a brother named Byleistr. Laufey had not abandoned him, (Really though, if he really was left to die, why was he in a temple? Sacred Ground!) but had hidden him there for safekeeping, thinking no one would dare trespass on Sacred Ground. Loki tries to get used to this new life while Thor fights to get his brother back.

I don't remember any more, but hopefully, someone out there knows what I'm talking about. Also, there's a picture for it on deviantArt, if someone could give the link for that too, it'd be awesome.

I was hoping someone could help me find a fic that was posted a while back (possibly pre-Avengers). It was set before Iron Man 1 and Tony and Steve (who was not Captain America but a soldier serving in the middle east) meet while playing online RPGs. Steve has no idea who Tony is, thinks "Tony Stark" is a flashy annoyance, and is put out/confused/upset (?) when his online friend disappears after the Stark weapons demo in Afghanistan.

I completely don't remember what happens after Tony escapes.

I am looking for a fic, I am almost a 100% sure was of ao3.com. When Loki fall from the bridge he fall somewhere on earth north or south pole not sure. But he finds steve still frozen in ice. Amd gradually stve defrosts and they either leave together or are found together. Not sure.

Anyway hope you can help me it has been driving me crazy!
