Unfortunately I don’t really remember the plot, just a few key things: it’s an unfinished fic, Loki travels back in time to be near Tony, who is with Pepper at the time (his Tony died in the alternate timeline?)
He brings the bots from the other timeline, Dum-e and U, with him and hides them in a small museum for agriculture and paints them yellow. Tony eventually finds out and the take them to the tower. Loki also summons Jarvis (calls him Spirit, to hide his identity) and gives him a iron legion body.
The pairings were Pepper/Tony, maybe Tony/Loki and Tony/Pepper/Loki

For the past 2 days i have been looking for a fanfic on ao3 about loki who is on asgard and is jotun blue possibly a war bride to thor, the Olympians come to Asgard, and loki meets Hermes messenger god and the two become friends, and they find a portal and they travel through there to midgard, the portal takes them to any time, they were there when the Berlin wall was taken down, when he met steve rogers and the commando, and when he meets tony but is cockblocked by obie, when something drastic is about to happen to him by thor he leaves through the portal landing on midard today and is sorrounded by shield who wants to know why he is here. If any one knows what the story is called please comment. I thought i had it bookmarked, but i cant find it.

I need your help again!

I'm looking for a fic. Tony traveled back in time (not on purpose - I think it was a Hydra device). And finds himself in the alps and in the Second World War. He seeks shelter, finds a hut and kills the Nazis that where there. Later he discovers the injured Bucky Barns. He saves him before the Hydra goons get him.
Tony brings Bucky to a hospital in France, and later they live together on a farm(?) while Tony tries to find a way back. He manages to get a massage to the Avengers and Jane helps to open a portal.
Tony takes Bucky with him (in the time he was in the hospital Steve put the plane in the ocean).
Back, Bucky figures out that he was supposed to be the Winter Soldier - but now it is Peggie.

I would love to read it again - can anyone help?

Hello!

I'm looking for a Steve/Tony fic. When they first meet Steve is all excited to learn about Howard and Edward from Tony, and almost devastated to learn Edward died a drunk. Then they get together, an accident happen in the workshop and Tony gets sent back to the 1940s. He ends up in Howard's workshop and pretends to be his nephew. He ends up working with Howard on Rebirth and then meets Steve in London. They fall in love, but Steve thinks Tony is Edward. Tony has to get Howard's help building a time machine, and in the process they mend fences. When Tony gets back to the present Steve tells him he figured it out the first time they kissed.

It was an awesome story and I'm really miffed I lost the bookmark.

Okay, so I have recently started reading Avengers-fanfiction, and I find that I really, really like it. I mostly prefer fics with slash-pairings, but gen is good too.

I really hope you can help me, because this has been bugging me. Because I can barely find any of these, and I really hope there's more.

1. I read a fic where Steve was one of the soldiers with Tony in the humvee, and he goes temporarily deaf. So I was wondering if there are any fics where Tony becomes permanently/temporarily deaf, blind or mute either while in Afghanistan or during the Avengers? Or comes back from Afghanistan permanently injured (that is not the arc reactor, but he has that too), maybe he had to amputate an arm? Maybe even no one knows of this injury?

2. Any fics that closely follow the original timeline (MCU), but Howard Stark isn’t dead? Or he is brought forward in time? And then he is either a really good father, a bad father or a mix between them.

3. I also read a Howard/Steve-series, The Joys of Step-Parenting, where Steve becomes Tony’s Step-Father, so I was wondering if there are any other fics like that because I literally fell in love. Steve as Tony's step-father. I really liked that idea.

4. (added this as I noticed I had managed to hit a wrong tag.. hidden identity) I have read a lot of these, where iron man's identity is hidden. This got me thinking. Are there any fics where everyone wears masks to hide their identity, so that even the Avengers don't know who they are actually fighting with?

I would be really happy for any fic-recs received. They don't have to be spot on, but similar is good. I'll accept any pairings, even if I am more inclined to read slash-pairings, I can even read fics with no pairings or with het-pairings. I just really want to read more fics like this if it was possible. The length of the fics don't really matter, although I love longfics, I can read shortfics too. Just not any crack, please.

So I'm looking for two types of fic. I'd like to see Bruce-centric fic (Bruce/Tony is great, but gen is awesome too), that deals with the Aftermath of the first Avengers movie, and how weird it must be for Bruce to go from constantly being on the run to being science bros and given a lab and trusted. Like, are there any where he has to take a moment to get used to his new situation, or has trouble believing things are okay? Maybe he has a harder time dealing with the fact that Tony wants to be his friend, because he's not used to good things happening to him?

Also, I love any fic involving time-travel, are there any where the whole team gets sent back to the 40's? or any good time travel recs, really.

I know there's at least one such story 'cause I'm read it. I just can't remember where it is. I'd also like to find any other story where Tony's father shows up during the present (Avengers) time. The one I read shows how little Howard thought of Tony and how much he put Steve ahead of his own son, totally losing any respect Steve had for his mentor. There are lot os stories touching on the conflict between Steve and Tony over how the two men saw Howard and how how he can be so good to one and crappy to the other. I'd like to see how other writers would cover that.

I'm looking for a specific fic wherein Steve wakes up in the future. The hospital staff show him newspapers etc where Iron Man has gone supervillain, trying to get the armor's shut down code. It's all a fabrication, and Steve is actually a hologram.

I am reading a Rough Trade entry where Tony travels in time/to a different reality and Obie is still a good guy and confides in him about what happened and why he thinks Obie turned on the Starks. It has made me want to read other good!Obie stories, whether due to time travel or otherwise, featuring Tony as a big character. I don't want stories where they just think he is a good guy and find out the truth later but ones where he actually is a good guy and it is someone else who set Tony up or it is before Afghanistan. Time travel is plus but not required. Howard can be a good guy or not, as long as Obie is good. If there are any fics like this. Thanks.

Okay, I read this ages ago and I could have sworn I bookmarked it but well... any way.

In it Tony travels back in time to WW2 and has to pretend to be Howard's brother. Howard thinks Tony is his nephew. Steve and Tony get together during this time and when he goes back to his own time he and Steve continue the relationship. Oh, and Steve in the future didn't know at first that past!Howard's brother(future Tony) was actually Tony. Until he got sent back.

Sorry if that's confusing. Any help would be great!!!

Hello all! I'm looking for two things:

A) Fics wherein someone punches Howard. I'm partial to Steve but anyone would be good. It can be any verse, any point in time, I just want to see Howard get his. Steve/Tony preferred but not necessary.

B) Fics wherein someone gives 616!Steve a good talking to either during or post Civil War. I like it when it's alternates but anyone is good as long as they ream Steve (and possibly other Avengers) out. Steve/Tony please. Fics of this theme revolving around current events would also work.

Came across this fic while on vacation and didn't write the name down, the plot is pre-serum steve and buckey are secret lovers and while at their house someone busts in and kidnaps them. I havent read a fic like this before so I dont know if there are any out there but I would like to find something along the lines of:

For some reason the avengers are on Asgard whether for diplomatic reasons or for some sort of battle. Something sends them back in time and it will take at least a few days to send them home. Thor feels sort of nostalgic or something and takes the avengers with him to see young Loki before he knew he was a Frost Giant. The avengers take it upon themselves to help Loki when hes a kid so that he might not make the same mistakes in the future
Its ok if Loki is with them but I prefer if hes not

It doesnt have to be that exact or anything because im not looking for a certain fic but story recs along those lines or with similar plots would be great

I'm looking for some recs. Most of my reading so far has been on Ao3 so it would be nice to get some fics that aren't on there as well. I prefer completed fics or regularly updated WIPs. Both plot based and PWP are fine. I've tended to read mostly MCU and 616 but feel free to rec other verses. I prefer stories that are more closely related to canon (i.e. they are still avengers) than full out AUs such as normal/high school/college settings. No warnings necessary.

I love Tony-centric fics but I also enjoy Loki-centric and Bucky-centric fics.

Pairings I read most often are FrostIron, Stony, Bucky/Steve, and polyamory (i.e. OT3's, OT6's, OT7's, OT8's, etc. as long as they include either Steve/Tony or Loki/Tony as part of the pairing). I will occasionally read Tony-centric fics that are Tony/Other where other is Pepper, Clint, Coulson, Bruce, etc. if the fic is very well written.

I also have developed an interest in Bucky/Tony, as well as, Bucky/Steve/Tony. I don't mind if the background pairings are different as long main pairing is one of my preferred pairings. Gen is also fine.

I really like H/C stories centered around my favorite characters. I prefer fics with a hopeful or happy ending but lots of hurt and angst in the beginning/middle is more than fine with me.

I read Resurection-verse by Elespethdixion and Seanchai and This time tomorrow (where were we?) by dorcas_gustine and am now craving Civil War fics preferably fix-its. I'd love it if someone could rec me some that don't place all the blame on one side or the other (i.e. where there is some acknowledgement that both sides could have done things differently).

Any fics relating to Secret Invasion/Skrulls, Brain-delete, time travel/time loops, fix-it fics, daemons, mutant, sparring, secret powers/abilities, my favorite characters being BAMF, and/or needing a hug.

Are there any fics where Tony ends up in the past and ends up joining up with and becoming friends with the Steve, Bucky, and the rest of the Howling Commandos like the glimpses we get in Man Out of Time by samptra? Either gen or slash.

Searching for a story that was written before Avengers and before Captain America that had Tony time traveling back to Cap's time. They fell in love and became a couple, but Steve wanted Tony to go back to his own time and Tony didn't even though he had figured out how. Steve ended up sending him back against his wishes, so when they find him in the ice later, Tony is resentful towards him but Steve doesn't understand why since he can't remember. I know it was posted here on livejournal and a WIP, but I never bookmarked it. I'm hoping someone recognizes this.

I have a problem. Steve/Tony was one of my favorites some time and I read everything I could find about them. Then I got addicted to the time travel fics where Tony is send back and meets Steve.
One fanfiction in perticular stayed in my mind but when I searched it with the tags I remember I came up with nothing :/

This is what I remember of the story: (It two or more years since I read it so I don´t know all)

The pairing was Steve/Tony, Tags: Time Travel,BAMF!Tony and it was finished.

The story is like this:
Tony wakes up on some hill, hung up and with some metall branded in his arm. He figures he did drunk engeniering again and something exploded. Then two police men showed up and asked who he was and stuff.
One of them looked at the wound in his arm and goes white and green. Tony thinks that the wound is nothing and that he got hurt more severly than this quite often.
He said than that he is Tony Stark and tells them to bring him to his tower. They are confused but think it´s because of his wounds so they take him with them to Howert Stark.
Here he slowly gets that this is not his time because of the cars and the lack of technology
The police brings him to his father. There he meets Steve(preserum) and the point of view shifts to him.
Steve brings Tony to a doctor who said he would heat up the metall untill they could move it out of the wound.
Tony then shouts him down, angry but controlled that before this metall is hot enaugh to meld his arm is burned off.
The rest of the story is kind of a blurr. I think Tony follows Steve on his way like in the movie discriped. ANd they get together but in the end Tony somehow is in the future again. Sorry if that is to vague.

Mostly though I love this fanfiction because how Tony is portrayed as a strong person and a genius even without the packup of his name and money. I searched a while but I can´t find it anywhere even thought I read it first on AO3.

Hope you lovely people can help me. A while back I read a crossover fic on A03. I mentioned it to a friend who's now interested in reading it, and of course I forgot to bookmark it.

From what I remember, Steve and Tony had found themselves in the middle of the zombie apocalypse, and they'd somehow joined forces with the Winchester brothers and Castiel from SPN, Sherlock and John Watson, and the Eleventh Doctor. I also remember that the Doctor had landed the TARDIS on Baker St. to recruit Sherlock and John and take them to this parallel world.

That's pretty much all the details I remember, and I hope it jogs someone's memory. Thanks in advance for your help.

Today, I've been wrecked. I just read Quorum by sparklyslug. It slayed me.

So, I'm looking for other Avengers AUs. Give me your favourite AUs. I don't particularly care which type, though sometimes I do feel college!AUs are a little overdone. Still, if it's something that gives you ALL THE FEELS, rec it anyway. Maybe I should clarify. By AUs I don't mean canon-divergences. I mean stuff with worldbuilding, where they aren't the Avenging superheros in New York etc.

My favourite pairings are Frostiron, Tony/Steve, Tony/Bruce, Tony/Clint, in that order. I'll take any background pairings, ex-pairings, whatever. My best is still Frostiron, so I'll love you forever if you find me Frostiron AUs.

I'm having a really tough time recently, both with family and with work, and I was wondering if you could recommend me fics in which Loki did what I desperately want to do, and just ran away. As in, from Asgard. He decided that he'd had more than enough of everyone's BS, and that he wasn't scared to get out of a place which was like poison to him. I don't care where he goes. I'm just looking for Loki being happier, anywhere else but Asgard. I don't even need him to have run away, even if he'd been kidnapped, or banned, or tried to kill himself off the rainbow bridge. Just, Loki, looking out for himself, and getting away. It's a bit of a vague request, but I'll take anything that even falls roughly within the description. Kinda like the Housemates 'Verse by Coneycat.

I'm partial to frostiron, but I'll generally take what I can get.

I'll be moving upstate in a few days and would really appreciate some fic recs to dump on my ereader! I'm looking primarily for stories that are epic in length, 50k words at least. Most of my reading so far has been in the Thor/Loki part of the fandom, but I'm branching out to Loki/Tony a bit as well. Completed fics are preferred, but active WIP are very welcome as well!

I tend towards slash fics, but am open towards het pairings or OT3+ pairings as well. Slow buildup for romance is great, although fics that deal with already established relationships are also good. Lots of drama! High tension! But also some comedy or fluff to balance it out. (Pretty much anything by scifigirl47 for example. XD ) I like fics that can hit a range of tone but still come together coherently.

I am an absolute stupid sucker for the following: jotun!Loki, competant!Thor, Tony being a smartass, Clint living in vents, Pepper being awesome, Avengers family feels, Tony's robots, space pirates (I blame Bend Around the Wind for that), Norse mythology ala Asgard, mythology remixes, putting the "universe" in MCU, exploring Jotenheim, exploring Jotuns, intersex!Jotuns, Loki getting 'redeemed' but still being a snarky little morally gray bastard, arranged marriage, the Avengers going from a team to a family, Natasha keeping her cool while everyone else loses their shit, etc.

Death!fics and heavy angst fics I have to take on a case by case basis. I can get immense satisfaction out of fics that put me through the emotional wringer, but don't enjoy stuff that makes me feel like I'm getting punished for reading it.

tl;dr : Moving, need long fics, so what's your favorite pairing/trope and what would you call its must read epics?

What I remember is Pepper is talking to Steve (or maybe it's Bruce?) and says something along the lines of even in a room full of some sort of people that aren't smart Tony can pick the one woman/man working on some sort of degree.

It probably was Tony/Pepper/Steve or Tony/Pepper/Bruce, but maybe not. I'm pretty sure I read it on AO3.

Hey, I recently read a fic on AO3 but now I can't find it! I think it was a one-shot. What I remember is that Tony was continually getting upset because he thinks Steve looks at him like he is his father. But then Tony time travels and meets Howard, but is introduced to people as his brother (Gregory, I think). Anyways, he meets Steve, falls in love, comes back to present time, and realizes that Steve stared at him because he looked like Gregory, not Howard. I hope someone knows what I am talking about. Two specific fics plus a general rec:

1.) Specific fic: Steve meets Rory and Amy in New York in the 1930s after they got trapped there forever by the Weeping Angels, before he gets the serum.

2.) The Doctor (I think 11, though it might 10) lands somewhere in the modern day sometimes after the Chitauri Invasion, SHIELD captures him and interrogates him, trying to see if he's a hostile alien. The Doctor used to know Thor and Loki when they were kids.

3.) Any other Doctor Who/Avengers recs? Any pairings, ratings, characters, etc.

Hi there! First time posting to this community, so I hope I'm doing it right. I have a pretty long list for things that I'm looking for, but hopefully there's enough so that there's something to find. ;D The list is:

1. Fics where the team finds out that Steve can use the Mjolner.
2. Good bro!fics between Steve and Thor.
3. Good Steve/Natasha fics. (I actually have an OTP other than Zuko/Katara or Sheldon/Penny!)

Hello.
I am looking for two fics. In the first one Tony and Clint meet differently - Tony gets beaten by some guys from the circus and Clint is trying to help him. They both get there asses kicked. Later Tony takes Clint to his home and adopts him as his little brother. Clint is not Hawkeye.
In the second one Tony and Steve, after a rocky start, are begining a relationship, and Tony gets send to the past in WWII. He meets his father, and tels him he is the future son of Howard's brother. And he and Steve get toghetr in the past too. I read both off them on Archive of our own, but I cant fined them now. Please help :)
