Hi everyone! I'm looking for one specific fic and two other genres. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

1) Specific: The main pairing is Tony/Steve, but Thor/Jane/Darcy is mentioned, or I'm pretty sure at least that Darcy was involved in the relationship. Tony, Jane and Darcy watch Steve and Thor spar in the gym, and Thor wins. After Steve has had enough, they break up to shower. Steve admits to Tony that he likes Thor being stronger than him, and the rest of the story consists of Tony and Steve having sex in the shower.

2) Good Fury: I'm looking for good Fury stories. Any pairings, any genre. Please point me towards stories where Fury isn't just a jerk and has character. He doesn't even need to be the main character, I'll take him as a "supporting character". I'd prefer something with the Avengers, but anything goes.

3) Avenger Bucky: Any stories where Bucky is an Avenger and the Avengers includes the original Avengers (i.e. Tony and Bruce). Wanda, Vision, Sam, Rhodey, etc are welcome, too, of course. I'd prefer something a bit more light-hearted, but I'll take anything, any genre and any pairing. Again, Bucky doesn't have to be the main character; I'll read whatever you recommend :)

I keep thinking about a specific scene from a fic, but I can't remember what fic it comes from.

The scene I'm remembering has General Ross from the Hulk movies bringing all of his men to Avengers Tower for Bruce. Rhodey confronts him in the War Machine/Iron Patriot armor and Pepper confronts him with amazing red tape I think.

I can't even remember what pairing the fic had if any.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Hi guys. I'm looking for 2 fics. Any help would be much appreciated.

The first one I believe I read either on

avengerkink or

norsekink. This is what I remember of it: it's an AU and before Thor's coronation, Odin told Loki that Loki was to be advisor to Thor, basically doing all the work and getting none of the credit. Loki didn't like it one bit and took off for another realm, leaving Thor to do things himself. Then some foreign dignitaries from another realm came to Asgard and Thor screwed up pretty badly by insulting people (including a female ambassador or something that he insisted on hitting on, despite her subtle attempts to get him to back off) and generally being bad at diplomacy. I think Thor confronted Loki at some point for abandoning him or making him look bad, I'm not really sure.

The second one I think is from AO3. I think it was a long story, most likely gen or Loki/Tony (and Thor/Jane), but the bit I remember is that Jane has gone to Asgard and she has to undergo some trials to be accepted there or be given the golden apples. There are 3 tests and Jane fails one (that I think involved something typically feminine she was not very good at) and passes one (that I think involved some kind of scientific principle). The last one (I think) was some kind of unsolvable problem Odin used so she'd fail for sure, and I think Thor and other people got pissed about that. And that's pretty much all I remember about it.

I'm looking for a certain post-Avengers story where the team is living in the tower. Here's what I remember:

Pepper, Natasha, Jane, Darcy, Betty, and Coulson are having a girls' night out

General Ross invades the tower

Steve and Bruce are experimented on

The girls and Coulson kick ass rescuing the guys

Natasha and Clint at one point had decided what animated princess everyone best resembled - Clint was Merida, Natasha was Flynn, Steve was Aurora, Tony was Mulan, Thor was Ariel, and Bruce was Fiona.

I remember reading it on AO3

If someone could at least provide the title, I'd really appreciate it. A link would be even better!!!

Ok, so I just read something that had one point that went something like "and Odin took the Casket of Ancient Winters, leaving Jotunheim to rot and literally (the entire planet) left to fall to pieces slowly into space." So, I'm wondering if anyone knows of fic where Odin is really callous and judge/jury/executioner, in the way that this action implies.
( But wait, there's more! )

Okay, I've been looking for this fic through Google for awhile now and I think it's been deleted. It was complete and I'm pretty sure I read it on AO3.

It was a different telling of the movie verse where the Red Skull was the mastermind and was controlling Loki. Thor and Jane get married in Vegas thanks to Tony and I think Steve goes hunting with Thor's friends? I think Clint and Darcy end up together and Tony gets kidnapped and ends up staying with Loki using really old computers as he's forced to build something for Red Skull in a safe bomb shelter Tony's dad made? And Loki's teaching him magic that the women of Asgard learn so he paints his nails with a pink highlighter.

I hope that's enough information and I'm not mixing 2 fics up, I believe it was around 103k words because I misread it as 10k and ended up staying up all night reading it.

I'll be moving upstate in a few days and would really appreciate some fic recs to dump on my ereader! I'm looking primarily for stories that are epic in length, 50k words at least. Most of my reading so far has been in the Thor/Loki part of the fandom, but I'm branching out to Loki/Tony a bit as well. Completed fics are preferred, but active WIP are very welcome as well!

I tend towards slash fics, but am open towards het pairings or OT3+ pairings as well. Slow buildup for romance is great, although fics that deal with already established relationships are also good. Lots of drama! High tension! But also some comedy or fluff to balance it out. (Pretty much anything by scifigirl47 for example. XD ) I like fics that can hit a range of tone but still come together coherently.

I am an absolute stupid sucker for the following: jotun!Loki, competant!Thor, Tony being a smartass, Clint living in vents, Pepper being awesome, Avengers family feels, Tony's robots, space pirates (I blame Bend Around the Wind for that), Norse mythology ala Asgard, mythology remixes, putting the "universe" in MCU, exploring Jotenheim, exploring Jotuns, intersex!Jotuns, Loki getting 'redeemed' but still being a snarky little morally gray bastard, arranged marriage, the Avengers going from a team to a family, Natasha keeping her cool while everyone else loses their shit, etc.

Death!fics and heavy angst fics I have to take on a case by case basis. I can get immense satisfaction out of fics that put me through the emotional wringer, but don't enjoy stuff that makes me feel like I'm getting punished for reading it.

tl;dr : Moving, need long fics, so what's your favorite pairing/trope and what would you call its must read epics?

(FLAG [Fanfiction Lightweight Automated Grabber) is pretty damned awesome for folks trying to download from fanfiction.net and a tidy handful of other websites! )

I've recently read this story that I forgot to bookmark - it was one of those Loki falls from the Bifrost and ends up on Earth fics. In this one he lands in Canada and decides his best chance are the humans who helped his brother recently, so he treks down to New Mexico and joins the SHIELD project that is now employing Jane&Co. He's using some kind of pseudo-Scandinavian name, but the others mostly call him new guy.
