Loki canon-divergent, FrostIron-centric (FOUND)

I've been looking for this fanfic for a few months/up to a year;this is my last hope to either find it or know what happened to the story or the author. I read it on ao3 but if its on any other site that's fine too. It was also possible connected to "Sharpen your Teeth" by STARSdidathing on ao3 but I could have just been reading them at the same time.

The plot starts after the events of The Battle of New York. Loki was taken into custody and was going to be shipped off to Alfeim (? could be wrong). They use a spaceship that came with the Chutari during the invasion, and it may or may not have been called "Space Tech" by Tony. At some point before boarding Loki tried talking with Thor but Thor denied him and Muzzeled him. During the trip Loki gets murdered by Thanos but no one knew upon this discovery due to the camera being glitched, the room also smells like cinnamon. Client and Natasha were suspected at some point but I think that was dropped after they argued their case. Once the arrive to Alfiem Thor & Loki's family are so upset with Thor over how unsafe the transportation was and how he should've known and how Loki should've told him. Sometime between during the trip & now Loki's body was stolen, afterwards the Avengers also were able to get access to the footage and saw Loki's death which was due to a hand that came through a portal stabbing him to death, and then a second hand that took his body. So Alfiem Aunt tells Thor how much of a mistake it was to leave his body as now he could very well be harvested and sold on the black market since the body parts of a mages, especially a powerful one like Loki, are highly sought after. The Aunt investigates and sees its no way Loki faked his death due to the smell of cinnamon being something that can't be replecated as it a marker of "Mage Death" or the death of a mage. She also finds out through using his blood, with the permission of Thor, that Loki used his last moment to something called "The Bard's Tale" or "The Bard's Song" and its a plea to the Norns to change fate and his mapped out Thor & The Avengers beating Thanos and saving the world. Thor & The Avengers discorver more about Loki's true self in Alfeim and see all isn't as they thought and Thor brings the Avengers hunting one day and gets attacked by their cousin who was close to Loki.

Then time passes and Tony investigates New York and sees Loki was being controlled too and throughout this period has been having dreams about Loki and alot of sexual tension grows between them but of course Tony assumes he's just being weird and its simply a reoccuring dream. Thor on the other hand was investigating Loki's secret bases and pieces together that Loki maybe alive and is on this planet outside the Nine Realms that's about to explode. He also possibly got ordered to ally or have them move or whatever by Odin, he takes an Golden Apple from Iduun with him. Loki was taken by the future version of the Queen of this planet and she basically forces him to save her planet and people by stopping his death in a sense, its alot of time fuckery but long story short is he was living as a bodyless spirt in the Queen's present self's head since she was born. It was impossible to save her planet at that time but not if he was in the past which is how all that happened, the queen might have had access to the time stone. Thor comes to negotiate with her and she ends up saying how Loki has been living in her head for hundreds or thousands of years and toturing her. She didn't wanna give him up without payment but Loki also needed the apple to save him from Death but eventually both parties got off the planet and soon after it blew up as it was actually an egg for some type of Supernova creature. Thor has to use use slices of the to apple to restore life into Loki, but at the same time Loki is essentially fighting death so the process isn't easy nor quick. Thor & Tony decided to clean Loki's body and see he has both genatalia and wrap everthing up quickly after that revealation. Tony falls asleep but the dream is different and Tony & Loki realize their "dreams" with actually each other were actually the other person actual consience. When Loki wakes up finally he eats pratically all the food in ship and banters with Tony, its also probably some arguing with Thor too. Thisvis when he plays with the idea of roping Tony in an alliance. After they return to Earth Loki disappers I think and starts his work on his plants and greeting the people who thought he was dead.

This is just broad strokes of the beginning of the fanfiction but if anyone knows it, it would be so appriciated if you drop anything about it. I didn't know how I should format the action description of all I knew so apologies for the chunks of text.

That sounds like The Prestige by black_feather_fiction. It's archive-locked on AO3, which might be why you couldn't find it if you weren't logged in during your search.

Thank you, this was exactly it! I read it before it was locked and was searching google with highlighted words. I looked with my AO3 account logged in before I couldn't get the tags quite right.
