Hi! This is a specific fic where Loki's mouth is sewn shut and somehow the Avengers get him and try to help him. I believe there was a "road trip"-type element. While traveling, they stop at a fast food chain a few times and get a cup of water for Loki to drink with a straw. Later, they get him a milkshake or smoothie from the same fast food chain, and he reacts very differently. One of the Avengers realizes or assumes that Loki is thinking that the rest of them were drinking the milkshakes all this time while he got water, because the cups all look the same. Hopefully someone recognizes this! Thanks in advance!
