Hello I am looking for a fic or fics if there is more than one that centers around the "soldier surprising their family, sibling, wife, etc." I think there is at least one it might have been Bucky/Steve but I can't quite remember. Seriously. Going. CRAZY!!!! I've been search for the piece for the past month with no luck, so maybe you guys can help me.

What I remember
- it is post winter soldier
-Bucky/Steve are in a relationship
-they start becoming more physical and Bucky notices that sometimes Steve acts wired
Ex: - pretty sure at some point Bucky says "I love you" to Steve and Steve turns it into a joke saying "everybody love the guy with his hand around their dick
- Steve insist on them getting tested for STDs, even though bucks says the serum fixed that, and Steve saying its for him
-later on, Steve finally confesses to Bucky that pre-serum, he paid his portion of the rent by selling himself
-lots of comforting post-confession
-almost 100% that it was on ao3

I know this is a long and detailed post becaus to vividly remember this doc and don't know why I can't find it. Hopefully, one of you lovelies will know what I'm talking about. Thanks so much for saving my sanity!!!

1. I'm looking for dark fics, because I can't seem to find much on Ao3. Any and all pairings, so long as there's no non-con (dub-con is fine). I'm particularly looking for fics where one character is being forced or manipulated into a relationship (or sex) by the other, or abusive relationship, but really, anything is fine. I just really love dark fics, and there is a surprisingly little amount in the Marvel fandom.

2. I'd also really like to read any mafia au's if there are any. Again, any and all pairings welcome.

Hope someone can feed my newest addiction...

I just finished ConeyCat's amazing Housemates 'verse, where she delves deep into her interpretation of Loki's character, the misunderstandings that caused the events of 'Thor', the failings of Frigga & Odin's A+ parenting, etc etc. I'd love love LOVE to read more fics in this vein: where Loki's choices were caused by loneliness and misery, not by an evil streak, where redemption is possible; fics where Thor realizes he truly loves his brother, despite how he has ignored and excluded him in teh past. Fics where Odin didn't bring home a changeling child simply to use him to further his own kingdom, but rather because he couldn't let a baby die of exposure. Fics where Loki was the outsider growing up, was abused or neglected, etc etc etc.

Gen, Slash or Het welcome, just no Thor/Loki, unless you feel it is a truly amazing read. Happy endings (or at least hopeful) preferred, but I don't mind a good hard cry either!

1) So I absolutely adore the whole 'den mother' Steve concept, and I'm looking for fics focused on that today. Any fics where Steve fusses over his team members (the Howling Commandos or the Avengers), or fics where he's really protective of them and takes his duty as leader very seriously?

2) Your best mpreg!steve fics. I don't care about the pairing (although I love Stony and Stucky), and I don't mind au fics, but I'm mostly looking for fics in the canon storyline. I'd also prefer fluffy schmoopy recs, but literally anything is fine :)

I've been reading different fandoms of fanfic for about a decade now and have run across this scenario in the likes of The Sentinel, Magnificent Seven, Buffy, Criminal Minds, and X-Files. Woke up this morning wondering if anyone had written such stories for The Avengers/Iron Man/Captain America/Hulk. Still working as part of the group, one member is kept/pushed outside of the circle socially or during downtime. Or forgotten once the battle is over and left to make their own way home. When parties or nights out are planned one person is left out, not even thought of to invite. Not so much like, "Oh, Bruce won't come, he doesn't drink," but the odd man out coming to the kitchen for a late night glass of water to find the others just getting in from a party he/she knew nothing about.

I just read most of the series First Impressions and Second Chances by lilsmartass where Steve and Clint, with the backing of Fury and Hill, let Tony know that, outside of the actual battles, he wasn't wanted, wasn't part of the team, even rejecting every gift or weapons upgrade Tony brought them. Harsh story but it left me wondering if there were any more like that, with any of the Avengers family left 'out in the cold'.

And the tags are just guidelines for what I'm looking for, not set in stone.

Update: Reading the stories suggested in a post from January I found "An Acceptable Loss" by RandomSlasher where Coulson wakes up alone in a Pennsylvania hospital about 4 months after the Battle of New York, with no sign of any visitors and no change in his apartment when he finally makes his own way back to NY. He feel totally abandoned and thinks that he was wrong in thinking that any of the team or even Fury were his friends. Turns out to be a paperwork glitch that made everyone think he was dead.

Any story like that one, where someone thinks that he/she is on the outside, even though it was never the case, also covers what I'm looking for here. And check out that story; its a good one.

Hello, I'm looking for multiple things:

1. Any fics that focus on Tony struggling or dealing with PTSD and/or panic attacks, specifically during or after the events of Iron Man 3 (IM3). It can be Gen, Pepper/Tony, or Steve/Tony. I'd prefer if the focus remained on the PTSD and not on any romantic relationship. I also enjoy friendship between Tony and any of the Avengers.

2. Any fics that are Tony-centric that focus on any of the following mental health issues: depression, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, anxiety, OCD, self-harm, and/or suicidal thoughts.

3. Tony with self-esteem issues

4. Overworked Tony

5. Fics focusing on Tony's relationship with Jarvis or that have Jarvis caring about Tony

6. Really angsty Tony fics in general... It's evident to see what type of mood I'm in xD I prefer for it not to be an alpha/beta/omega AU

I am in the mood for fics that have Clint in the air vents. It can be the main focus of the fic or just a part of it, but I really want to have some fun with Clint sneaking around the air vents in SHIELD, Avengers Tower, Etc and overhearing conversations, seeing a couple in flagrante delicto, butting in on conversations when people think they are alone, maybe some smutty tension (via the air vents) with Coulson or the like. The fics can have Clint in the main pairing or not (I prefer slash either way) and any rating/length is good.

I have two request that are kind of similar

First I was wondering if anyone knew any fics where Peppers Family (or friends, someone who knew her before Tony and her job) comes in to it - where they get to meet Tony and maybe the rest of the Avengers? Maybe showing their reactions of her living with a bunch of superheros or of what they thought of her job? With these I would prefer a Tony/Pepper pairing

Secondly, I was after fics similar to the first idea but concerning Coulson - I dont care if its gen or if there are pairings I just like the idea of his family/ friends discovering that hes actually a shield agent/ interacts with the avengers etc

Also any where Coulson or Pepper are just being BAMF would be great

So..I've been wondering how many fics there were out there that dealt with obsession or infatuation. Basically, one character stalking or developing an unhealthy fascination to another and doing everything in their power to keep them? I've read Obsession by CeliaEquus, which is what made me crave more fics like that...perhaps something similar to that? (Summary (for those that haven't read it): Steve becomes obsessed over the idea of making Agent Coulson his Omega, and will do anything necessary - as long as it's covert - to make that happen).
Any and all pairings welcome, but no non-con please! Dub-con is fine :)

So yes, I did see someone post the same thing just a couple of days ago. But while I know that there are a lot of fics like this based around both of the characters hiding their secret identity, I was wondering if there were any with just one of the characters doing so.
For example....Steve and Tony dating, where Steve is just an ordinary guy, with no superpowers whatsoever, but where Tony is secretly Iron Man, or vice versa (it doesn't have to be Steve/Tony, all pairing are welcome)

I know it's a pretty long shot because I've literally gone through all the tags, but I'm just wondering!

Hi, my main request is for any stories where someone or everyone breaks Tony's trust, particularly if they don't realise what they've done immediately. I don't have the links to hand but I've read A Life in garden metaphors, Newborn and A spoonful of sugar.

I'm also interested in anything where people realise that, however closely Tony works with the team, he doesn't fully trust them and they try to overcome his issues and prove they're there for him. I've read the Togetherness issues (and other superhero problems) series.

I apologise for the slightly incoherent post but any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Um..hello.. This is my first time posting to this comm so I'm hoping I'm doing this right.

1. Well, I was looking through the tags and I didn't exactly find what I was looking for. I'm looking for fics where one of the Avengers (I don't mind which one), turns their back on the team, or turns evil for whatever reason (kind of like Clint in the first Avengers movie?). I don't mind if its because their being controlled, or even if they do it by choice (extra love if its fics like that!)

I'm pretty new to the fandom and did a search on the rec page here but didn't find anything. I hope this is ok since Bucky isn't an avenger in the CA/WS movie world. I'm actually looking for some WS tortured! current Bucky fanfics..Graphic description doesn't bother me. Kindof like if WS recovered Bucky being kidnapped and was tortured for information/hydra/or sacrificing for teammates while the other avengers watch helplessly or perhaps they recovered recordings of the chair, ect. I usually see fics where the avengers see the tortured aftermath of Bucky, but I want to read fics that the avengers actually see Bucky being tortured instead of just hearing about it.I like gen or stucky. I'm looking for a specific fanfic(s) where Phil has tried to recruit Darcy, but she puts him off. When the Battle of New York happens, she reconsiders, using the contact info he left her, and discovers he died in battle.

Other scenes include her being included on an Avengers briefing despite being a junior agent/trainee, and going on a training exercise that is a fancy dinner/charity function, and being the only one who doesn't fail the exercise.

Might be part of a larger fic series, but this particular installment is Darcy-centric.

The avengers know about fanfiction, and there is a discussion about the pairings. I think I remember Clint being happy about being in one of the most popular pairings (Clint/Coulson)

2a.) General search:
Any fics where one of the team members are split into multiple versions of themselves, maybe by magic? LIke a good Tony and an evil Tony are running around?

2b.)Or maybe there is another AU version running around in there universe and they meet up.

Okay, I lost a fic. I thought I bookmarked it, but when I went back to my link, It wasn't the right fic. What I remember is this:

1. It was pretty big. Can't remember if there were a lot of chapters, or if they were just long. And it was unfinished last I saw.

2. Tony, Clint (and Barney), and Phil had all at a point where they were children, been dosed with the super soldier serum, but it never does the same thing to each person. Later Betty Ross is also dosed by her father.

3. Steve collapses at some point because he isn't eating enough.

4. There is a wedding for Bruce and betty on the Hellicarier.

5. Tony secretly has an actual medical degree, and an alterego to go along with it.

That's all I got folks. Can anyone help? I don't recall pairings, sorry.

I've also read Clint Barton’s Home for Wayward Mind Wiped Assassins by roguewrld and Winter's Ending by Rainne

Just wondering if anyone has any fics they would recommend. (Because slogging through AO3 can be tedious sometimes.)

Hi, I'm in love with Bucky and was wondering if there are any stories that focus or mention the fact that Bucky is younger than Steve or have one of the team kind of treating him like the baby of their family. Maybe Bucky lied to Steve, said he was a year older when in fact he was a year younger than Steve. He did it because he was so much bigger than Steve he didn't want to make the size difference worse when they were kids. Or Maybe the team only counts the years Bucky was living free, not under anyone control or frozen so now Steve has a few years on him. Would really love Bucky's frustration at being treated as younger but he really loves having the other looking out for him.

Also any fics dealing with Bucky being sick past or present. Maybe where he's missed a lot of the standard vaccinations because he was kept frozen so long. His handlers thought the serum he was created with would cover things but it doesn't and Bucky is prone to common illness.

Really anything with the team taking care of Bucky would be great.

Hi! I've never asked for any fics until now. I'm looking for one specific story and maybe some related ones.

1) I remember reading a story where Avengers have some kind of a meeting or are gathered somewhere. Steve and Tony had an argument over Tony's behavior. I don't know the details, but one scene was for sure: Steve took out Tony's arc, believing it was just a piece of machinery and Tony was just using it to get attention. He then kind of panicked when Tony got weak and found out about Tony's condition. I'm pretty sure it was either no parings, Steve/Tony or Tony/Pepper. And I think it was chaptered.

2) I'm looking for al kinds of Tony whump!, but especially those involving the arc reactor. Somthing about Avengers not knowing about Starks condition and finding out or about them not knowing and trying to take the reactor out?
