Recovering Bucky fics...

I'm looking for more "Bucky recovering from being the Winter Soldier" fic.

I've come from reading Feather (lalaietha's) "blue eyed boys" and "make a deal with god" fic series.

I've also read Clint Barton’s Home for Wayward Mind Wiped Assassins by roguewrld and Winter's Ending by Rainne

Just wondering if anyone has any fics they would recommend. (Because slogging through AO3 can be tedious sometimes.)

PS I love crossovers, so feel free to recommend any of those.

Not Doing This Alone by CloudAtlas - Unless you don’t got nowhere else to go, you don’t come down Blake Street way. It’s cold and there’s no shelter, ‘cept for what condemned lots provide. Got worse after the aliens though. One of them sled thingies crashed straight through the front of 37. Don’t matter all that much, ‘cos no one ‘cept homeless have lived there for years, but weird rotting alien bodies and that sled thing brought Feds and Blake Street ain’t the place anyone wants Feds. Full of people just making do, ‘cept Feds think that’s illegal. Fuckin’ Feds. (gen)

I was going to self rec but then endeni was super lovely and did it for me.

The Man on the Bridge by boopboop
Steve Rogers turning up at Tony's door in the middle of the night might be a bit out of character, but it's not completely out of the realm of possibility. Stranger things have happened. Steve Rogers turning up at Tony's door with an amnesiac assassin - who may or may not have some of Tony's personally designed hardware attached where his arm should be - well that's just far too interesting to turn away, even if Tony is trying to avoid all things S.H.I.E.L.D these days.
This falls into my category of "holy fuck how is this so good?". The writing is phenomenal, actually phenomenal. There is a lot of healing Bucky in it, but it's surrounded by a butt ton of amazing plot. Check the warnings though, cos it's fucked up in places. Also, check out her other stuff, if Steve/Bucky is your thing. PHENOMENAL.

The Only Guy Steve Knows Who Lives in Brooklyn by Chex (provetheworst)
Clint’s the only guy Steve knows who lives in Brooklyn, which is probably why the Winter Soldier starts hanging around his apartment. Clint has had worse houseguests, but even that doesn’t explain how he ends up on a thirty three hour flight to Madripoor trying to save the guy Captain America’s probably in love with from mad scientists.
Fraction crossover. Love it.

Anyway, Here's Wonderwall
The Winter Soldier tracks down each and every HYDRA agent that forced him to kill and watches them die. He also tries to become a well-rounded individual with interests and hobbies. The results are mixed.
Crack, hilarious crack. But also a coping mechanism. Just, not one I'd advise.

Hi! I heartily suggest anything and everything written by heartsdesire456 over on AO3 (http://archiveofourown.org/users/heartsdesire456) someone already suggested one of their fics, "Learning to Say Hello" (which has a SEQEUL, if you didn't already know), and all their other works are as good or better. They've got the best snarky troll Steve I've ever read, with recovered!Bucky being both worse than Steve AND a total enabler, lol.

and "Separating Me From You" (http://archiveofourown.org/works/2256933) are my favorites!

Also, try this one. "Hard Wired" by arsenicarcher (Arsenic) (http://archiveofourown.org/works/2475845) It's a really fantastic recovery fic. Best one I've read yet, actually. It's much angstier than the others I've recced here, and DO heed the warnings. Nothing is ever graphically explained (at least what I consider graphic), but the fic does contain everything they say.

I also loved "the broadest stroke of color' by gossamernotes(http://archiveofourown.org/works/2471087) It's a really nice fic where Steve uses his art to help Bucky remember things, and eventually ends up writing and drawing the new Captain America comics.
