Ugh, this should be so simple, idk why I can't find the right AO3 tags.

Post Avengers, when Tony invites the team to move in with him, he and the others are mildly surprised when Clint is very very neat and tidy and doesn't decorate and sticks to a specific schedule for eating, but they pretty much decide it's trauma/grief/natural quirkiness and move on. After ever-more creepy hints that something is not right, I believe it's Tony and Steve who discover a heavily-notated SHIELD handbook which reveals how Coulson had governed every aspect of his and Clint's home life and convinced him that he deserved to be punished for infractions such as eating outside certain times and decorating incorrectly. Punishments that I can recall included going without food and having a prized bow smashed. Tony, Steve (maybe it was Bruce, but I think Steve) and Natasha are Very Unhappy with this and begin the long process of getting Clint into a better headspace about living arrangements. They agree not to try to convince him that Coulson was abusive because he's already mourning the guy, why make it worse? Pretty sure it ended without any sort of Coulson lives reveal.

Hi! I saw this once on this website, but it seems the post beens deleted or something? Anyway, the premise is basically that Tony does everything for the Avengers but they dont realize.

it has past mpreg, Tony's daughter's name is Michelle and she lives in the NY mansion, the Avengers dont know about her. He brings her to the tower under the pretense of her doing a school project and that she is the daughter of one of the maids. She is actually the one who asks Tony why they dont say thank you.

Steve likes(?) Tony and keeps sleeping with him when he's in heat. Tony thinks he's just, like, stress relief, and eventually ends up getting a collar-type thing to protect his neck from Steve accidentally biting him (like mating bite or something)

the collar, i know, is made of leather and has symbols on it, of a rattle (for michelle) and steve's shield

Tony cooks all their breakfasts, he knows what everyone likes and makes pancakes often, and only eats the first, burnt pancake. he always eats smaller portions than everyone else.

some of the other avengers try cooking instead, and tony gets upset that everyone has the wrong meal and that someone else got the burnt pancake and was saying things about how the other person didnt deserve to have the bad pancake

its just a lot of insecurity and sad but if anyone knows what this is, i would be v grateful!

I apologize if it a trigger request, but I was looking for fix that have Steve Being raped. they have to be stories after he took the serum, and all the avengers are overprotective of him, also Loki and Bucky are overprotective too. I want to see the process of the rape to see his suffering and the pain inflected on him, maybe how he is lost and losing his faith in people and the new world.

please as much hurt and vulnerable Steve as possible.

also, if there are any stories with Steve/OMC, where the other man is the top but he is nice and very loving of Steve. the team may be shocked to know him later

so it was in my mind, what if steve was being tested on and being studied, so he still goes to missions, work with the team but always called in to be tested and some of these tests are hard on him physically and emotionally but he does not think it is something to be frowned upon, or something he should protest on, he does not think he could say NO. then the team finds out or not, they help him or not does not matter as long as the story is with in this limit.

I would prefer it to be Stony (with bottom steve) of Gen but any other pairing is acceptable

Life's a bitch when your wifi has been out for over a week and you can't find a story you're SURE you had saved. The one I'm looking for is a X-Men/Avengers crossover starting at Xavier's school. Logan is doing his best to keep John calm and from goin Pyro on Jean, who is constantly badgering him for every little thing. She storms up to him while he's outside relaxing and starts berating him for being lazy and for being...him, and he very nearly flares up. Finally, to keep himself from attacking Jean in frustration and anger, Logan takes Pyro, Rogue, and Iceman away to the Avengers. I'd apprecieate any help on this. I've been going through my saved files for two days an can't seem to find it.

Hello there! I've searched everywhere and for the life of me I can't find it(not even in my history*sulks*). Anyway, it was post-Avengers, where Loki is taken to Asgard for his punishment/trial. A spell is used on him, to a time before he turned "evil". To everyone's shock, he turned into a child. I can't remember the reason, but Thor takes him to Midgard, where he slowly bonds with the Avengers and they learn of his abuse and neglect from Odin and Asgard(Thor never knew). The main scene I remember is that Loki and Tony are sledding down a hill, Loki looking to the sky saying they are "calling me home" before being taken by frost giants. Laufey is very protective and learns of the abuse by Odin.

Any help is appreciated!

I remember quite a bit about this multi-part (I think it was close to 30 connected short stories) series that I'm certain was posted on AO3, but I can't find it in my bookmarks, so I was hoping that someone would know it offhand.

In this world, BDSM is the norm and everyone is a sub or a dom (though Tony, being Tony, is a switch, I believe, though I think he subs to Pepper). I think the primary pairing was Clint/Coulson (ironically, I can't remember who was Dom/sub, though I'm assuming that Coulson was the Dom), though as the series progressed, it explored many other relationships: Fury/Natasha - Dom!Fury and sub!Natasha), Steve/Bucky (Dom!Steve and sub!Bucky - that was a really heartwrenching part of the series and also the last couple of parts I saw posted). I don't remember with whom, if anyone, Bruce was paired, though it might have been Bruce/Betty.

Another plotline that was explored was that Justin Hammer was a sub who'd been misclassified (and abused) by his father into being a Dom. His crimes were actually somewhat excused when it was discovered.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you very much!

I read this story a while ago and couldn't find it when I wanted to read it again. Takes place after the fall of Hydra in Winter Soldier. Kinda follows the movie in that Alexander Pierce was the main one in controlling WS/Bucky, but in this story their relationship is heavy Dom/sub. When Steve finds Bucky and brings him back to the tower, a confused Bucky assumes that Steve is to be his new Daddy. (Part of me is saying that there's a small chance that this Daddy figure may be Coulson, as an older man, but logic says he's looking to Steve, and Coulson isn't part of this story.) Steve is shocked and confused by Bucky's attempts to please his new Daddy and Bucky is confused and fearful over Steve's rejection, thinking he's going to be punished.

After reading a couple of stories with a similar storyline I'd like to find any where Tony and (insert Avenger name here) are together and the others are 'protective' of the other person. Nobody, not even Pepper, bothers to look past Tony's reputation as a raging playboy so they're all just waiting for him to start cheating on his new lover (usually Steve but I'll accept anybody on the extended team). When the other person's attitude changes, everyone assumes it's because Tony's been cheating (or any other reaston to assume) but it's the other way around and Tony knows telling the truth won't do him any good. So he's silent while his heart breaks and the others turn on him and support the silent cheater. That could be either emotionally or physically. I've already read two such stories which either got lost in the shuffle of new fic or a WIP that I marked but didn't download. The first starts out with Natasha punching Tony and breaking his cheek. Tony later falls in love with another guy who dies of cancer. The second one has Tony coming home early to find Steve having sex with a woman on the couch. Steve's a jerk in this one, hating the fact that he's in love with a man and not liking the woman he's staying with only because he knocked her up. (Both of those stories I found searching this site, so they can be found with a bit of work...okay, the first one is "Newborn" at fanfiction.net) Thanks, all.

Okay, this story I know for SURE is on avengerkink but I can't find the exact thread.

The Avengers are returning from battle, and Tony has a broken arm/leg (can't remember which). The Avengers get called back out, but obviously Tony can't go back out. Bucky is there, and he is not very fond of Tony. However, he offers to look after an injured Tony while the others go back out. While the Avengers are out, Bucky starts attacking Tony, and I remember at one point Bucky has Tony on the floor and is planning on violating him. Right before he does so, he gets pinned to the wall by a pissed off Steve and all the other Avengers form a protective wall around Tony. I can remember Steve punching Bucky, and the story was established Stony.

I just finished ConeyCat's amazing Housemates 'verse, where she delves deep into her interpretation of Loki's character, the misunderstandings that caused the events of 'Thor', the failings of Frigga & Odin's A+ parenting, etc etc. I'd love love LOVE to read more fics in this vein: where Loki's choices were caused by loneliness and misery, not by an evil streak, where redemption is possible; fics where Thor realizes he truly loves his brother, despite how he has ignored and excluded him in teh past. Fics where Odin didn't bring home a changeling child simply to use him to further his own kingdom, but rather because he couldn't let a baby die of exposure. Fics where Loki was the outsider growing up, was abused or neglected, etc etc etc.

Gen, Slash or Het welcome, just no Thor/Loki, unless you feel it is a truly amazing read. Happy endings (or at least hopeful) preferred, but I don't mind a good hard cry either!

Okay, I originally posted this to the cap-im-finders livejournal. But, having no luck there, I thought I'd give it a go here.

The story is a series I read on ao3 and now I can’t find it. It has dark, abusive!Steve who beats Tony. It’s in Tony’s POV for the series and I remember a part where Tony mentions Steve wasn’t abusive before they got married, but the first instance happened about a week after they returned from their honeymoon. Steve and Tony were in the kitchen, cooking spaghetti, and something happened and they ended up spilling the spaghetti all over the floor, and they end up on the floor, Tony just laughs, and he expects Steve to do the same, but Steve slaps him across the cheek. Both are startled, and Tony runs away. Of course, Steve apologizes, saying he’ll never do that again, but of course that is not the case. From what I can remember from the story and the rest of the series, Tony tells how Steve has dragged him across the floor and has even broken some of his ribs. There’s a part where Tony says Steve doesn’t realize he’s killing his own husband. And people have asked Tony about his bruises and Tony blames it on being Iron Man, of course. And there’s parts where Tony suspects other people like Bruce and Natasha know he’s being beaten, but won’t come forward to help him.

Does anyone know how to find this fic? It was beautifully written and you just wanna cry for Tony. I will sell my soul to the person who can find this story/series.

I've been reading different fandoms of fanfic for about a decade now and have run across this scenario in the likes of The Sentinel, Magnificent Seven, Buffy, Criminal Minds, and X-Files. Woke up this morning wondering if anyone had written such stories for The Avengers/Iron Man/Captain America/Hulk. Still working as part of the group, one member is kept/pushed outside of the circle socially or during downtime. Or forgotten once the battle is over and left to make their own way home. When parties or nights out are planned one person is left out, not even thought of to invite. Not so much like, "Oh, Bruce won't come, he doesn't drink," but the odd man out coming to the kitchen for a late night glass of water to find the others just getting in from a party he/she knew nothing about.

I just read most of the series First Impressions and Second Chances by lilsmartass where Steve and Clint, with the backing of Fury and Hill, let Tony know that, outside of the actual battles, he wasn't wanted, wasn't part of the team, even rejecting every gift or weapons upgrade Tony brought them. Harsh story but it left me wondering if there were any more like that, with any of the Avengers family left 'out in the cold'.

And the tags are just guidelines for what I'm looking for, not set in stone.

Update: Reading the stories suggested in a post from January I found "An Acceptable Loss" by RandomSlasher where Coulson wakes up alone in a Pennsylvania hospital about 4 months after the Battle of New York, with no sign of any visitors and no change in his apartment when he finally makes his own way back to NY. He feel totally abandoned and thinks that he was wrong in thinking that any of the team or even Fury were his friends. Turns out to be a paperwork glitch that made everyone think he was dead.

Any story like that one, where someone thinks that he/she is on the outside, even though it was never the case, also covers what I'm looking for here. And check out that story; its a good one.

1. Any fics that focus on Tony struggling or dealing with PTSD and/or panic attacks, specifically during or after the events of Iron Man 3 (IM3). It can be Gen, Pepper/Tony, or Steve/Tony. I'd prefer if the focus remained on the PTSD and not on any romantic relationship. I also enjoy friendship between Tony and any of the Avengers.

Hello, I'm looking for a Tony/Steve fic that I read a while back on ao3 but I can't find it now despite trawling the non con/ humiliation tags.

Tony marks his victims with a black tear and Tony has Jarvis to film him taking advantage of Steve where he subsequently uses it as leverage in their relationship. Also, Tony bars Steve from his room and Steve sleeps in a room where there's no toilet and he ends up relieving himself on the bed or some sort. Tony also implants an inner armour in Steve that only responds to his commands and he capitalizes on it to torture Steve and Steve doesn't know how to admit to Natasha about his situation.

Steve is relieved much later when the Avengers find out about it and it's revealed that Bruce also has a black tear that he's ashamed of.

I hope that somebody will be able to help me! Thanks a million bunches beforehand!

I couldn't really remember which one punched who, so I may have the roles reversed. I seem to remember some sexual tension between Tony and Steve, so they might be together or some UST between them. I think they were toward the end fighting the bad guys. The disagreement over their different views of Howard Stark had been going on for awhile and Tony made one smart comment too many. In a flash of anger, regretted almost immediately, Cap lashes out and cracks a helmetless Tomy on the jaw, full force.

Anybody recognize this? Or is this a product of my sick imagination? I flit back and forth from story to story, so I quickly lose one that has a scene that I can't get out of my head. To bad the title and author of such stories don't stick around too.

Okay I believe I found this fic before through this community but I can't find it now so hopefully you guys know what I'm talking about.

It was Tony/Loki or eventually became Tony/Loki. For some reason Loki, Tony, and I think Thor and Steve had been captured and they put Tony and Loki in the same cell. They realized they were being watched and I think the captors expected Tony and Loki to attack each other. So somehow they come up with a plan to fake a rape between Loki and Tony(with Loki being the 'attacker'). They actually are just having really rough but still consensual sex but they are so convincing the Thor thinks Loki actually raped Tony and Tony I think was unconscious or just really injured when they were rescued/escaped and couldn't explain what really happened before Thor attacked Loki.

That story was part one, I know there was at least three stories in the series and the second part happened on Asgard and both Thor and Tony get uber protective of Loki when Odin goes to far punishing Loki for the perceived rape. In the second part we also learn that Loki was tortured by the Chitauri and they might come back to Midgard for revenge against him which I think was the theme of the third fic which I didn't read. I don't know if there was more to the series but like I said it definitely had three parts.

Any other brainwashed/controlled Loki fics would be great but not necessary.

The main general fic I'm looking for is any of the Avengers or any of the extended family getting injured or sick but the focus on the fic being on the Avengers, or others, taking care of them in their convalescence. Like making sure they take meds, changing dressings, basically acting as Nurses or even 'Mother Hens' to the sick/injured person. It can be fluffy or angsty but happy endings preferred.

I'm actually looking for some WS tortured! current Bucky fanfics..Graphic description doesn't bother me. Kindof like if WS recovered Bucky being kidnapped and was tortured for information/hydra/or sacrificing for teammates while the other avengers watch helplessly or perhaps they recovered recordings of the chair, ect. I usually see fics where the avengers see the tortured aftermath of Bucky, but I want to read fics that the avengers actually see Bucky being tortured instead of just hearing about it.I like gen or stucky. Sorry if this is a bit vague, but I read a fairly lengthy story over on AO3 a while back where Steve is a cop trying to solve a series of murders and Bucky is a stripper, I think, who is also being coerced into prostitution (possibly the hold they have over him is a death he believed he had a hand in causing. Though I may be confusing my stories.) Either way, Bucky doesn't leave the club and has to service clients for the boss. I seem to recall that someone was messing with their memories, or maybe just Bucky's.

I think Bucky still had his cyborg arm. At one point Steve threatens someone who Bucky had been forced to go with, telling the man never to come back to the club, or to go near Bucky.

It ends fairly happily, with Steve and Bucky together. Though Bucky is understandably very messed up.

Hi, I'm looking for a fic that I only really remember one snippet from, so I'll be shocked if anyone recognizes it!

In it, character A and B are arguing. It gets ugly, and then there is something along the lines of "A raises his hand. Before he even realizes what he's doing, his palm connects with B's cheek."

A is horrified at what he did. I think the fic might have had dub/noncon in it, but I'm not sure about that. It also might have been a dom/sub or alpha/omega AU, with A as the dom or alpha, but again I'm not sure. The thing I specifically remembers is it's from A's perspective, and hitting B is like an out of body experience.

I think A was Steve and B was Tony, but it might have been Phil/Clint or Steve/Bucky.

I wish I could provide more concrete info, but my memory of the fic is very fuzzy. I will be very impressed if anyone recalls this fic, but I figured I'd give it a shot! Thanks <3

1. I remember it is a pre-Thor fic/au. An arranged marriage between Loki and Thor. Loki is always!female and raised on jotunheim. Thor is very abusive. Eventually he realizes how horrible he is after Loki becomes preganant. He allows her to leave the palace and live in the mountains. I've been thorough the female loki tag, arranged marriage, forced marriage, and jotunn loki. Nada

2. Loki is stuck in the Hulk cage with Bruce. In response he takes on his jotunn form. It's not the one where he takes charge and shape shifts then gets pregnant. Instead it's all instinctual.

I'm looking for a story where this girl was abused by her family and wanted a way out, so she cast some sort of spell that allowed her switch places with Tony, except that not only do the Avengers immediately realize that he's not acting right, but Tony is now in her body being abused.

He eventually escapes makes his way across the country back to New York, and the story just snowballs from there.

Please help, I've been searching for this thing for about a week!

So! I read this fic AGES ago, and I absolutely CANNOT find it!

Tony had a Norse name, it wasn't Tony. He preferred to be called Tony, though, as a nickname.

I think he and Loki were twins.

I can't remember exactly why, but he was thrown off the Bifrost by Odin. I think it might have had something to do with him realizing that he and/or Loki were Jotunn.

On Earth, Tony doesn't remember his time in Asgard.

When Loki invades, one of them recognizes the other, i think. There is a blast and both of them are thrown into the walls. When they wake up, Loki's cranial recalibration was done by the wall,, he's normal again, and Tony remembers.

If anyone knows the fic I'm talking about, please please please help me out!

I am driving myself crazy trying to find a specific Bucky fic, I think it was on AO3. It was a typic fic where Bucky end up at the avengers tower to heal. I think when he gets there he has a really bad infection in his arm because JARVIS notices he is running a really high fever. There is a great scene between him and Bruce where Bruce is very carefully trying to get him to let him help. Bucky let's him even though he expects the whole time that he's going to end up memory wiped/frozen again.

Seeking general fic recs if i may?

i) Any shy!Tony Steve/Tony fics? As in, Tony still has all his bluster and feigned arrogance, but whenever he's with Steve that all dies down and he just becomes rather shy and quiet. Or anything along those lines. Just want shy!Tony instead of shy!Steve for a change.

ii) Any fics (preferably with Steve/Tony) where Tony has crushing low self-esteem. I am a sucker for Tony and his fake smiles.

iii) Abused!Tony fics? In any sense, by his father, by a past-partner, or even current partner. However i'd prefer none where Steve is an abuser, and double points if you can find an abused!Tony fic with Steve/Tony pairing. =]

Hey all :)

So I just finished watching the age of ultron trailer, which was awesome and made even more so by the fact it comes out around my birthday ^_^, and there's a scene with Bruce and he looks so lost and vulnerable that you just want to hug him until he's happy again.

Anyways this sparked a desire to read fics featuring a vulnerable, insecure, in-desperate-need-of-some-cuddly-affection Bruce. For an example Bully by Trumpeteer has the emotionally hurt then comforted tone that I'm looking for.

Slash, het, gen, poly, h/c, whump, noncon, I read it all. However I don't do death fics and there must be some comfort to follow all the angst.
