I am not sure about the pairing, or whether it was gen or a pairing at all. Clint moved into Avengers' Tower, but didn't actually mention to anyone that he had moved in. (He might have been living in the vents - though I have looked through the ceiling vent clint barton tag on Ao3, and not found it.) He was watching Tony, and leaving food for him to eat - because Tony was working too hard/not eating enough, I guess - and Pepper was shocked/appalled that Tony was just eating this food that had just appeared out of nowhere.

Driving me a bit mad, not being able to find this one again, and I would really appreciate any help! <3

I remember a fic where Tony starts dating one of the team, i think either clint or steve, and the rest of the team threatens Tony/gives him the shovel talk. After a while it actually starts to scare Tony/makes him insecure. I dont know if he tried to break up with person because of it but I remember yelling at the team for what they did.
Or any fic like that would work.

Ok, ok, ok. So I know there are stories like this but I can't seem to find any. I'm looking au fics based around Steve/Tony where one is unaware of the others secret identity? Like, their dating, but either Steve is unaware that Tony is Iron Man or Tony is unaware that Steve is Captain America?
I don't mind any other pairings either (Bruce/Tony, Tony/Clint, Steve/Bucky...literally anything). Just no het pairings please!

Hi, I'm hoping the kind folks on this site can help me out with finding 3 fics I have read in the past a gazillion years ago and would love to find again!

FIC 1- AU fic set when Tony is a teenager when Afghanistan happens, Howard is still alive. He makes it home same as in the movie but is issue having with Howard trying to help, but he has been an absent father so long its not so easy. Clint and Natasha are his BFFs, I think it was maybe Clint/Tony pre-slash. He goes off to uni but is later withdrawn due to PTSD. Bruce was maybe his shrink?

FIC 2- Again Tony with PTSD - I'm really loving hurting him at the moment. He is shot or something on a mission, but when his teammates or a SHIELD medic applies pressure he freaks and goes back to Afghanistan, so he fights them - full on broken bones and strength that he should have when so injured terror response. Team!fic.

FIC 3- Hurting Clint this time, and a little hurt Tony. Turns out Loki also raped Clint when he had control, he isn't doing so well with it. Tony approaches him one night and explains in his multiple experience ignoring it and hoping it will go away doesn't work. Clint asks about the multiple experience and Tony explains about the first time he was raped (in uni drugged by a guy who wanted revenge on Howard), and 2 subsequent times.

Any and all help would be appreciated, pretty please! !

I remember one where Tony is given the shovel talk by everyone while Clint is away. Clint is really angry wth them when he returns.

But any shovel talk would be good.

And anyone know any good fluff fics, Clint/Tony or Bruce/Tony, if there is a pairing, though friendship would be nice.

I'm looking for a couple things, all Tony-centric.

1. Young!Tony. I've looked at the previous posts, read AON and a few others. Now I'm looking for more lovely whumpy goodness. :) Raise differently AUs (kidnapping, red room, Loki, whatever), child abuse, team-meet-as-kids fic, deaging, anything along those lines. I wouldn't mind some gen team loving either. Superfamily with little Tony is always fun.

2. Platonic Tony and Natasha fics. I'm not interested in anything romantic, but anything with them developing a friendship, supporting each other, protectiveness, etc, all good.

3. Tony/Clint slash fic recs. It's such a tiny pairing, and I'm having trouble finding anything aside from the Dodgy Chinese and Only Different In The Details. Barring that, gen concentrating on their friendship would be good as well.

No restrictions on warnings or ratings, though if the fic has het it shouldn't be the focus.

I am (chronically) craving submissive!Tony. I want a fic where Tony seems like a really dominant person most of the time, but in bed he's super submissive and sensitive but only with people he trusts.

Pairings-wise, I like Loki/Tony, Steve/Tony, Coulson/Tony, Clint/Tony, Bucky/Tony, and OT6(+). I'm not too big a fan of m/f couples being the main pairing, I prefer slash, but threesomes (four-, more-) are awesome, even if they have a girl in them. And obviously, OTAvengers will have Natasha in them, and, yeah.

If anyone needs clarification about the pairings (I know it looks like a bunch of nonsense) comment with your question and I'll reply as soon as I can.

Hello All,

I was looking for a specific Tony/Clint soulmate story (as per my subject line), and I was hoping someone here might know which one I'm talking about.

I'm pretty sure that the type of soulmate story that I'm looking for included soulmate marks or prints, or something like that -- it might have been numbers.

Anyway, in the story, Tony has been looking for his soulmate for a long time, and he created this database-thing for people to find their soulmates in an effort to find his own, but it hasn't helped him. One day, Clint gets caught on camera or something like that, and Tony realizes that he's his soulmate. Cue enormous search with a whole bunch of people coming to Stark Industries to be vetted, claiming to be the man Tony saw.

Meanwhile, Clint is living with Phil and Natasha, and they're getting ready to move again, when Coulson or Natasha sees media coverage of Tony's search and -- I think -- convinces Clint to go to SI, but then maybe he chickens out? Something like that, and then Tony sees him and goes after him... it ends happily.

I know I read this somewhere, but when I try to search for it, I keep getting linked to "Down from the divide", which is a very nice WIP that is similar to -- but not the same as -- the story I'm looking for.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hhey everybody! Nice to meet you all. I'm afraid I'm a bit late into this game and the sheer amount of fics out there are really starting to scare me, So I hope you can help.

1. Fics that showcase what things were like before the Thor movie between Thor and Loki. I'm not looking for abise fics, or angst fics where they hurt each other on purpose. I would prefer some brotherly love fics where they go on an adventure (I won't say no to Loki getting injured or hurt).
2. Any fics where Thor is a loving and protective older brother (even ones where Loki is a villian and Thor still looks out for him)

3. Any autistic Tony fics? Because sometimes the character reminds me so much of how my little brother acts who has aspergers.
4. Any fics about the Arc Reactor and how it's keeping Tony alive, and the avengers finding out.

5. Any good Clint/Tony fics out there... I'm becoming rather entranced by their fannon super snark in fics and want to see some good pairing fics. Any will be fine.

Whump is fine, but I'd rather avoid non-con, or over the top emotional angsts please. And please no Thor/Loki. I prefer them as just brothers.

Okay, well I hope you guys can help me: I'm looking for fics which are mostly Tony-centric, with him being majorly underestimated... Like, he is secretly kick-ass, but people don't know/realize because they can't get past arragant exteria...

I'll be moving upstate in a few days and would really appreciate some fic recs to dump on my ereader! I'm looking primarily for stories that are epic in length, 50k words at least. Most of my reading so far has been in the Thor/Loki part of the fandom, but I'm branching out to Loki/Tony a bit as well. Completed fics are preferred, but active WIP are very welcome as well!

I tend towards slash fics, but am open towards het pairings or OT3+ pairings as well. Slow buildup for romance is great, although fics that deal with already established relationships are also good. Lots of drama! High tension! But also some comedy or fluff to balance it out. (Pretty much anything by scifigirl47 for example. XD ) I like fics that can hit a range of tone but still come together coherently.

I am an absolute stupid sucker for the following: jotun!Loki, competant!Thor, Tony being a smartass, Clint living in vents, Pepper being awesome, Avengers family feels, Tony's robots, space pirates (I blame Bend Around the Wind for that), Norse mythology ala Asgard, mythology remixes, putting the "universe" in MCU, exploring Jotenheim, exploring Jotuns, intersex!Jotuns, Loki getting 'redeemed' but still being a snarky little morally gray bastard, arranged marriage, the Avengers going from a team to a family, Natasha keeping her cool while everyone else loses their shit, etc.

Death!fics and heavy angst fics I have to take on a case by case basis. I can get immense satisfaction out of fics that put me through the emotional wringer, but don't enjoy stuff that makes me feel like I'm getting punished for reading it.

tl;dr : Moving, need long fics, so what's your favorite pairing/trope and what would you call its must read epics?

(FLAG [Fanfiction Lightweight Automated Grabber) is pretty damned awesome for folks trying to download from fanfiction.net and a tidy handful of other websites! )

I have a few fic searches:

1. Any fics where Tony is very protective of "his people". Where he threatens to, or actually does, bring down the full might of Tony Stark Genius Billionaire onto some well-deserving bad guy.

2. Any fics where Tony is threatened and the team protects him in any manner, whether he knows it or not.

3. Tony has a lot more friends than he thinks he does, so gimme some fics where he discov friendship in unexpected (for him) places. (I.E. Fury, Natasha, Hill, etc.)

I've read a clint/tony fic somewhere but now I can't find it. They are both in college and meet at the library. Clint is studying hard, Tony is not. Tony is rich and Clint doesn't believe Tony is genuinely interested in him at first, but Tony convinces him. Clint works at a diner and has two little brothers he has to look after. Pepper is Tony's best friend and Natasha is Clint's.

I'm looking for a Tony/Clint story I read a while back.

Clint brings a really bad dom back to the tower and Tony chases him off after he hurts Clint. I think Tony breaks the guy's arm or something. Tony gets really mad at Clint's actions and tells Clint that if he needs a dom so bad Tony will do it. He starts giving Clint lots of very strict orders right away.

I'm not sure if I read this on AO3 or as part of a kink meme but I'd like to find it again.

Yup. I'm a Steve/Tony shipper, always have been and always will be. But I've seen The Avengers three times now, and I've read a few Clint/Tony fics that I inexplicably LOVE.
