I've kind of fell in love with sick Tony.

NOT SICK AS IN ' OH MY GOD, I HAVE A COLD' BUT SICK AS IN 'OH MY GOD, I AM DYING'


PLEASE.......NO Steve/Tony- I hate that pairing.

But if you have any recs where Tony is terminally ill and has been keeping it a secret from eveybody, then they find out , that'd be great!

OR

Tony having been ill form a little kid, but getting better, then relapsing all throughout his life.

I was going to suggest rebirth by Panda_shi, but then I realised it is actually steve/tony, even though it's mostly not. It has a pretty good portrayal of dying Tony though...

I would recommend "Breathe" http://archiveofourown.org/works/9238904/chapters/20952593 by ancalime8301. It's a post civil war fic that had Tony catching a cold and it nearly killed him.

I think the story "One of Those Days" covers what you're looking for. No Tony/Steve, it's firmly in the Tony/Pepper camp. At Archive of Our Own the author is karravon; at fanfiction.net the author goes by b7-karravon. You should know that the rest of the team doesn't come off looking so good.
