Another story I read, liked, and now can't find again.  Can't remember is they figure it out while raiding Hydra bases or if Bucky already knew, but the team finds out that Nat was conceived from WS's sperm.  (And maybe the other Black Widows?)  Does anyone know this one?

O my goddess, that was wonderful! That one will be kept, tweaked, and printed (as soon as I get another printer, which has to wait until I put the bookcase together). Thank you so much for leading me to this one. Unfortunately though, that's not the one I'm looking for. In the lost story, Nat is with the Avengers, like normal. James' parentage is discovered through DNA tests. Hydra had been taking semen samples from WS through the years, inseminating various women, whether volunteer operatives or prisoners I don't remember, and raising them as operatives.

And any other story where WS is the father of Natalia/Natasha. I recall one where he raised her while hiding out (like that movie I can't recall the name of right now) until she took the chance and defected with Hawkeye, with James following years later. I'll be looking for that one next...any help?

Though I'm still looking for the one where a young Natalia went to school with the children of Party higher ups, not realizing that her father was the Winter Solder for quite awhile. They both spent different times in cryo, him being there every time she was awakened. He aided her in defecting, his chance not coming for years (usually accepted times: Clint for her and the bridge for him.).

Took me a bit but I finally figured out which movie that scenario reminded me of. It's kind of like the 2011 movie Hanna, where the former assassin lived alone in a isolated area and trained his young daughter to survive and escape for the day his former employers found them. So did Yasha (or whatever name he was using) train Natalya (or whatever name she was using) until she made her way to New York.
