I was wondering if you could please recommend me any fic whith Steve/Bucky where steve (like in the movie) has to choose between being Captain America or save/being with bucky. Im looking for a slash fic where steve throws everything away for bucky.

Extra Kudos if he becomes dark of if he was in a previous relationship but once he knows bucky is alive he leaves his previous partner.

Not sure if this is exactly what you're looking for but you might want to check out Speranza's series at AO3 called "The 4 Minute Window." Bucky alerts Steve that he's being watched and tracked by SHIELD and guarded by Widow, who thinks WS is out to kill Cap, so they have to plan their escape carefully. Part 9 was just added a few days ago so I don't know how it's ending up. It includes some very nice fan art. The story is suspenseful, funny, and very well written. I hope you enjoy it as I have (am).

You might want to check out "A Flaw in My Code" by charmingcontender at AO3. The Asset saves Cap from the Potomac and hides him away, changing his goal from killing him to protecting him. With the help and backing of WS's old student, Natalia (Natasha) and the rest of the team, Steve helps the Winter Soldier become more human, if not exactly Bucky Barnes again. He talks Barnes into turning himself in, but rebels when he realizes the verdict was decided before the trial even starts. Thing get pretty bloody toward the end; Steve Rogers will NOT allow anyone to take his best friend/mate away from him again. (M/M/F) "Arsonist's Lullably" is a shorter, much less bloody version of the same basic story by the same author. Two of my favorites.
