Specific Hurt!Tony Fic

I posted a search for this fic a while -- months -- back, but unfortunately, I never got the fic. Because I'm still wondering what it is, I've decided to take one last shot.

I actually recall quite a bit from the fic, but my google-fu has failed me, and I've looked through all 200 pages of my history in vain. I know the fic (which was chaptered - I believe around 10) featured asshole!Avengers in the beginning. They then ended up (I can't remember if Tony was with them) stumbling into an Alternate Reality where Tony had died but the Avengers kept going. (Pretty sure the AR had been Steve/Tony). Seeing the effect not having their Tony had on the AR Avengers made our Avengers reflect on Tony. I'm almost positive it was Steve/Tony, as I remember Steve kissing Tony hard in the last chapter.

Summary: Caught in the grips of spectacular hangovers, the Avengers wish Tony wasn't around to enable them, and a power decides to grant them their wish: a world without Tony Stark. How do you change reality back to normal without your resident genius billionaire playboy philanthropist, anyway?

While Shadow In The Stream is a fantastic fic, I've read it several times and it is not, unfortunately, the fic I'm looking for.

I very clearly remember that the team had actually been together and that Tony had died in action, as the AR Avengers were stunned at either seeing or hearing that. (I'' thinking Tony also traveled to the AR dimension, now).

That sounds like a story that I can't locate again.

The plot goes like this: Steve is angry at Tony as an Avenger's fight begins. There's some guy with a strange gun who shoots at Tony but hits Steve. Steve is transported to an alternate reality where Tony Stark died during the battle of New York. And Steve is appalled by how callous Clint seems and how disconnected the others are since--our Steve concludes--Tony wasn't around to bring them together.

Eventually Steve gets back home only to find that time ran differently and his Avengers barely had time to notice he was gone. Steve makes up (makes out?) with Tony. Then the Avengers from the other reality start popping in. They were impressed with Steve's tales and wanted to see for themselves. An assemble alarm goes off and they argue before Steve gets them to agree to stay at the Tower and watch. The guy with the strange gun is back. Turns out he's from the alternate reality and, I think, the other Avengers helped him over so alt-Steve could nab Tony to improve their teamwork.
