Ooohh, here my chance to recommend not only a great set of stories but a fantastic fanfic writer as well. I love Setcheti's work and its now found at AO3. The series you want is called Damage Control and the three parts (so far) are entitled Damage Control, Spring Thaw and Summer Rain. Tony runs his mouth to the press, outing personal information, causing a split in the team. The Guardians show up in Parts 2 and 3, warning them about the approach of Thanos. Hope you enjoy this story and the rest of Setcheti's fic.
