Loki Leaves Asgard

I read this fic today, where instead of interrupting Thor's coronation, he's basically like, "so long and thanks for all the fish" and -okay, tata, bye bye-s the fuck out of Asgard, leaving the MCU version of Trump (coz that's exactly pre-Thor Thor is, lbh) on the Asgard throne and both Odin and Frigga crying about their stupidity.

Now I need MOAR! Any fics where Loki is BAMF and independent and wants nothing to do with Thor or Asgard or whatever. He is happy to retire to some library in Alfheim and watch Asgard implode in on itself.

I'd prefer if he did NOT return or felt sorry for Asgard or anything. Just Loki being happily lowkey AWAY from Asgard.

Thanks :D.. and you don't need to reply but once with links (and this is why you should always give a link/title and author if you mention stories you've read that made you want to read other stories). for less 'clutter' and non replies... (which give a fake indication that you've got your recs) either delete all but one of your own replies (its YOUR request after all - all the rest of us just wanted to read the stories you read as they sounded really interesting) or add the links to the description and entry at the top. :)

.. it did give me some more ideas as to what you may like though (some aren't exactly what you wanted (the first is I think), others are short or only in part but well -... I'm going through my favorites...;

i tried reading Agent Loki, loved it to an extent, but I love fics where he has little to nothing to do with Avengers/SHIELD et al. Basically, I love it when the heroes are cast as the bad guys but between Thor/W4 and Avengers, I'll take Thor/W4 as villains any day, lmao
