avengers_searchHello! Relatively new to the fandom here and have already read so many wonderful fics and have so many more to go. <3
I am, however, wondering if anyone knows of any stories where Loki goes through a redemption of sorts and joins the Avengers? I've read lots of lovely fluff and entertaining crack, but would adore a chance to dig into a fic that makes him earn it, bit by painful bit, rebuilding his old relationships, building new ones, and maybe even rebuilding himself.
Thor/Loki is OTP, but any pairing (slash or het) built around that central storyline is also really cool.
Bonus points if it also has Loki finally dealing with his Jotun heritage in some form or another.
Mind whammy from Tesseract influencing his actions is also cool, just so long as it doesn't totally erase the red in his ledger.

This story is the closest to being the epic Loki redemption fic that I've wanted to read thus far. I really like how clever yet damaged Loki is in this story and how much effort it takes for him to get better slowly (with the help of Thor of course.)

This long fic is still a WIP and there's strong hint that it's going towards some form of redemption for Loki. And there's definitely "building new relationships and rebuilding himself" part going on. If you don't mind space travel, OCs, and Frostiron, I strongly recommend this awesome epic fic.
