Young Avengers Related?

Okay, rules say any Avengers related searches, so here we go.

So, by natural progression, I went from watching the movies, to reading the comics. Now that I've gotten to the Young Avengers comics, I'd like to read the fanfiction. Problem is, I can't find much. So if anyone can direct me toward a good Young Avengers archive, rec list, or meme, that would be much appreciated.

Yay, another YA fan! There's some on Archive of Our Own, here: under the Young Avengers tag (http://archiveofourown.org/tags/Young%20Avengers/works). You can refine a search by character and other tags from there.

I strongly recommend anything by Khirsah (http://archiveofourown.org/users/Khirsah/pseuds/Khirsah), especially Lonely Ghosts and Teenage Wasteland (in that order). It's pre-series and achingly gorgeous.

Maybe Everything Returns (http://archiveofourown.org/works/38024) by riko is post-CC college, and again, gorgeous.

If you're looking for smut, I recommend atti (http://archiveofourown.org/users/attilatehbun/pseuds/atti) - she's one of the best for that, imho, though I haven't seen anything new from her in a while. :(

Over on tumblr and deviantart, you need to see cris-art's stuff. She livestreams a lot, mostly Billy/Teddy, and her work is gorgeous. (some of it is SO SO SO SO NSFW. SO not kidding.) She gets a lot of writers writing drabbles around her images, and often links to them.

Also on Tumblr, there's often fanfic posted or linked to in the young avengers tag. hisboywriter, minumi-chan and smiledesu post quite a bit.

I am madly in love with minumi-chan's firefighter AU, where the YA crowd are (non-powered) rescue workers - paramedics, dispatchers, firefighters, and so forth.

Thanks! I wasn't sure there would be many YA fans on this comm. I actually got into it when I was browsing through one of the marvel memes and figured I'd put my MDCU subscription to good use and read up on the Young Avengers.
