your favorite long fics

I'm traveling and have concluded that the book I brought along is... well, frankly disturbing. I'm looking for a couple of long, well-written fics I can download and use to kill time in airports and the like.

My OTPs are Bucky/Steve and Jane/Thor. Peggy Carter, if present, can ship with whomever the * she wants. Thor/Loki is NOTP, sorry. Am not a huge fan of Tony/Pepper, Tony/Steve or Clint/Coulson, but they're fine in the background or in tandem with others. Nothing higher than a T rating on AO3, please. Gen is also fine.

I don't like it when good characters turn dark or commit villainous acts for no good reason. Just putting that out there.

Think that's it for parameters. So, what are your recommendations? Thanks in advance!

I also started reading Seasons (http://archiveofourown.org/works/1436992) by ravenously but I never had enough time to keep reading. :o( But I really loved the first chapters. :o)

Man, long Jane/Thor. That's sure in short supply. Also I guess it depends on what you think of as 'long'.

hariboo's pendulum (http://archiveofourown.org/works/496214/chapters/868872) is 'not short', and Jane/Thor, though they're kind of apart for most of it since it's a pre-Dark World piece.

There's the Kingsverse (http://archiveofourown.org/series/32075) by nayanroo, which is an AU from Thor 1, and includes Loki/Sif and a variety of other things, with a lot of Jane/Thor.

Although I've written a lot of Jane/Thor, none of it is what anyone can call long, but maybe in aggregate it's helpful? To be honest, I'm not sure I've ever read a completely Jane/Thor-centric fic. (I think it's tougher to write than other ships, in the sense that their relationship is established by canon to be relatively complication-free.) I just like it so much when they pop up in other people's fics, I figured it was worth a shot.

Sure thing! Oh and, I can't believe I left this out, but the-irish-mayhem maintains a big Jane/Thor reclist (http://the-irish-mayhem.tumblr.com/post/79139325079/fosterson-fic-rec-masterlist) on tumblr, grouped by rating so you can easily find the Gen/G/Teen/PG stuff. She comments on the length, too, so separating out the long from the short's not too hard.

Have you read the Freezer Burn series (http://archiveofourown.org/series/38432)? I discovered it recently. It's not Phase Two compliant, but it's amazingly long, rich, and vast in scope. It's got subtle MCU/comics canon pairings, but they're not the primary focus - the story arcs and characterisation are, and there's no explicit sexual content. Stories are all low/not rated.
