So we all know that Tony doesn't like to be handed things. But in this specific fic I guess you could say it was worse. I remember Steve was in the gym and he asked Tony to take the weight from him, I think he was bench pressing it. Tony freaks out and says, "I'm gonna go get Hawkeye." Steve starts to doubt Tony, because how can he trust Tony in the field if he refuses to take things from people. He goes to talk to Pepper and Tony is there. A woman comes in and says that she has a report to deliver directly to Tony. Pepper denies that requests and makes the lady give it to her. Pepper then touches every single paper and the front of back of the folder, Tony then takes it--reluctantly. It turns out that Howard would hand things to Tony in the lab and they would hurt him.

Any ideas?
