Hydra cloning Steve.....

Just came from reading "Winter's Children" by Neery.

For those who haven't read it, it's a great fic where HYDRA attempts to clone Steve, and ends up with several asthmatic shrimpy kids with stubborn attitudes. Then the Winter Soldier rescues them.

Just wondering if there are any other fics with such a theme around.

From what Neery says in their notes, it sounds like somebody made a Tumblr post pitching the idea and set it loose in the wild. Not surprising that multiple people took it as a challenge. (I'm following "Winter's Children" too--hope it updates soon!)

I have a great love for that fic! "Winter's Children" I mean. I just started wanting more of the trope because I've been eagerly anticipating updates and rereading WC.

Ironfries drew a picture of Ults!Steve and Tony with a dozen tiny Steve clones (six mini-Steves, six mini-Stephanies who were believed to be little boys until it was bath time thanks to HYDRA giving them identical military buzzcuts).
