Epic Darcy Fics

1) I love long, epic stories, especially those involving Darcy. I'm happy with gen or ship. Darcy/Clint, Darcy/Bruce, Darcy/Steve, Darcy/Phil, Darcy/Bucky (no Thor or Tony).

I've read a number of long series recently that involve a lot of Darcy including How Steve Got His Groove Back series by Rainne, the Direction series by Boombangbing, Funny That Way by LuvGoodMrE, Kid's Movies series by CircusBones, I'm Gonna Be A Part of It (Whether I Want To or Not) by fringedweller, Basic Bitches series by Twisted Inguene.

If anyone has some suggestions for similar, long, well written pieces, please share.

2) Any fics where Darcy is the daughter of Tony Stark.

I really love the Lucky Now series (http://archiveofourown.org/series/104558) by mollykakes. It's 5 parts so far and the fifth part is still a WIP.

It's Pepper Potts/Tony Stark story at first, with Darcy being his daughter and I think adopted by Pepper. It later becomes a Darcy Lewis/Steve Rogers story and these two are just too cute.

Summary for the first part is (because I am bad at summing up all 5 parts ;):


Darcy Lewis is not, exactly, who she says she is. Yes, she was a Culver student before the Thor incident, but before that she was a CalTech graduate who'd been home-schooled since the age of 5 by her father's AI. Since her father became Iron Man, her life has only become more surreal, what with alien gods landing in New Mexico and all. So sitting through the latest Stark misadventure with her grandpa and his recently defrosted WW2 buddy didn't actually seem too strange to her.

(An alternative universe where Howard Stark survived the car accident and Darcy is Tony's adult daughter)

"A Morbid Taste for Ice" by Sitehound is epic and awesome, and I *love* her take on Darcy. You didn't mention this pairing one way or another, so I decided to go ahead and rec it.

And life, lately, has had a perverse sense of humor, first trapping her in a state of perpetual Science Assistant in the armpit of New Mexico known as Puente Antiguo; and then forcing her to live in a trailer home with Jane Foster, Jane's guy, Thor, and his brother, Loki, master of mischief and wide-scale urban renewal.

But Darcy's not about to let her situation get her down. She's managed to get pretty good at her job, and with liberal application of a credit card, made her rustic house a home. And wielding a Taser and armored by her snarky wit, she's more than a match for the God of Mischief.

Stumbling face-first over the frozen body of a friend on the front porch, however, is more than even mostly unflappable Darcy can handle. The obvious suspect is her mentally unstable roommate. But despite all his other faults, Darcy is certain Loki isn't the perpetrator. And not just because she's starting for fall for him....
