Underestimated and underappreciated Tony

Hi, I'm looking for any stories where:

1. People (particularly the team) underestimate Tony and think he can't do/feel something or empathize with a situation and react appropriately. An example would be lifting Moljnir in 'More worthy than believed' or being good with a victim of some sort.

2. The team don't realise how much they depend on Tony - either in practical ways or as the glue that holds them together - until something happens to open their eyes. I'd particularly like any where he leaves the team but anything leading to a revelation for some or all of the team would be great.

I'll read any pairing or length.
