So i was looking through peter parker and avengers fics, but all the ones that come up are ones with peter as tony and steves son. Does anyone know any where he isn't their son and he's just spiderman. Also i prefer it when they don't treat him like a son/little kid since he's also a superhero. They can be a little protective and acknowledge he's younger but not like treat him like he's insufficient.

I feel your pain; I'm new-ish to this fandom and I really just don't understand why so many writers can't just leave Peter Parker as his own character and his own story...

I know there's quite a few fics where Spiderman's mentioned, but doesn't really have more than a cameo appearance. However, Christmas in New York (http://archiveofourown.org/works/300788) features Cap meeting Spidey and Forgetting It's There (http://archiveofourown.org/works/461677/chapters/795882) which is Steve/Peter.

Circling back (http://archiveofourown.org/works/1467004) by Chaya is a post-WS fic mostly about Bucky and Steve but does feature Spiderman.

scifigrl47's Toasterverse (http://archiveofourown.org/series/18228) has Spiderman in the later instalments. Sci also has a Pacific Rim fusion "Through the Dark Tide of Memory" which I highly recommend.

Coulson's Eleven (http://archiveofourown.org/works/1028486) by Copperbadge is an excellent canon AU which features Spiderman fairly prominently. I'd also recommend reading Exclusive, by the same author.

Have you looked at 616 fics? They're more likely to have Peter in the type of role you want.

Hi, it's a bit of a spoiler, but my favourite MCU/Peter Parker fic right now is Exclusive (http://archiveofourown.org/works/847207) by copperbadge (http://archiveofourown.org/users/copperbadge), though it doesn't call him by name untill the very end.

I also highly recommend Exclusive, or really anything, in any fandom, written by copperbadge.

I recently read a piece by TamrynEradani on AO3 called Stephanie Rogers Reporting for Duty in which Captain America was always a woman, but the Army hid that. Has some very nice Peter Parker as SPiderman in it and just a lovely piece all around about finding your place in the world.

Try It's All in the Mind (http://archiveofourown.org/series/21783). Peter doesn't come in until A State of Mental Extremes, but he's his own character and is Spider-Man. The Avengers treat him as an adult considering he's superheroing.

there is a good fic in ffnet about the avengers given order to watch peter parker because SHIELD know his identity and want to recruit him. It is very good fic. peter ended live with avengers in A tower and each avengers involved in his school events.

it's WIP and sorry i can remember the title. Last chapter I remember is Clint, Peter and Gwen in School basement and to paint it for homecoming? not sure...
