...At least, I think it was a 'five plus one'-style fic. It had short chapters, and the one I remember (which was not the first) had Coulson in Tony's office, seeing a new assistant try to hand him some paperwork, and since Coulson knew Tony doesn't like being handed things he took the papers himself - only it turned out they had some kind of contact poison on them, and he ended up in hospital.

It was on AO3.

I'm pretty sure Pepper's there when Coulson wakes up. She's the one who explains what happened. And I think she tell Coulson it's not the first time?

I think I might have found the fic I was thinking of: Just a Touch (http://archiveofourown.org/works/1140914/chapters/2308295) (link goes straight to the chapter) but I was wrong about it being a five things fic, and Pepper doesn't explain it to Coulson, so there may be more than one?

I might be conflating two stories. I've read "Just a Touch" before. And it certainly feels like a five things fic, so that fits.

Maybe I'm throwing in something from Hands free (http://archiveofourown.org/works/459008?view_adult=true) by flashwitch?
