I can't recall the pairing, but Darcy was acting as the gatekeeper for Jane and (I think) Bruce and possibly some other SHIELD scientists. I just remember that she had moved her desk so that she literally blocked the door to the labs, and a lot of the junior agents were afraid or at least wary of her.

Lost Causes (http://archiveofourown.org/works/627883): Darcy doesn't join SHIELD. In fact she pretty much refuses to join them, doesn't mean she wont be a contract employee so she can do other things she finds important. Thankfully, Jane totally has her back.(Phil/Darcy)
