Loki's emblem on Thor's vambraces in "The Avengers"

I was reading some meta on how Thor, in "The Avengers", has a stylized image of Loki's helmet carved on his vambraces, and how doing so was a way to honor a fallen comrade.

Does anyone know of any fic which deals with Loki noticing and reacting to the image?

Thanks! I'll check that out. I read that story shortly after I got into the fandom, and didn't realize the significance of the vambraces at the time. (I don't think I even knew *what* a vambrace was at the time I read that story. That was still when I was keeping Wikipedia open whenever I read new fic - I had so much to catch up on on Norse mythology and comicsverse canon.)

When I didn't get a reply to my original post I started to write my own fic - as it turned out, I'm writing it from Thor's POV. I hope to finish it in about a week.
