Steve/Bucky, recovery on the couch

Hi~!

There's this fic that's formatted with the days, basically, 0 being the day the Bucky and Steve reunite (I think) and afterwards, the number gets bigger and bigger as the Winter Soldier rediscovers himself as Bucky Barnes... He and Steve get pretty domestic but a few months in, Natasha barges in and gets angry at Steve for being stupid enough to house the Soldier.

I honestly can't remember what it is! So I'd be eternally grateful if someone can remember :)

Close, but no cigar. I did think it was this at first, too, since I actually remembered the title of this one. But the fic I'm talking about had numbers/days up to the hundreds, since Bucky stayed with Steve for months. Thanks though! :)

I know I've read this fic, I can't find it in my pinboard (https://pinboard.in/u:kdjslvgds) (you're welcome to dig through there, lots of good stuff) and I'm currently going through my AO3 history.


The fic I'm thinking of has Bucky living in Steve's apartment and sometimes there are good days and sometimes there are bad. Steve never leaves the house bc he's scared Bucky will leave. Nat comes in and Bucky overhears them fighting about him.

Eventually Steve is called away to Avengers shenanigans on the west coast and while he's gone Bucky remembers Winter Soldier things incl. killing Howard. Calls Steve and he comes rushing home?

As for what you said, I'm sure you're right on the first part, but I'm honestly not sure about the Howard part. Maybe it is???? I've been reading so much stucky stuff lately, things get mixed up. If I actually see the fic, no doubt I'll remember immediately.
