Rec Lists?

avengers_searchOr, alternatively, just recs? With the tag system being down on AO3, and FFN just being terrible for searching for fic, I've been trying to find rec lists. Or just recs in general.
Where can a person find long, plotty fic? I'm particularly interested in Thor right now, but I am not terribly picky. I like AUs of any sort, especially with a lot of world-building. I'm not terribly into slash, but if it's a background thing and not the central focus of the fic, that's fine too.

It's Post-Avengers and it's pretty awesome with BAMF!Loki (and Jane). Though if you have a problem with major character death, I suggest you skip it. But it's long and plotty? :D?

I definitely second the rec above for In Which Tony Stark Builds Himself Some Friends. All of scifigrl47's fic is fabulous and the slash more background than the focus.

It's long, plotty, action/adventure-oriented, adorable fic and I highly rec it. Loki's magic goes a lil crazy and things happen (kid!loki, bruce/natasha switch bodies, Tony gets turned into a woman, Clint has to deal with it.
