Missing fic: agent loki

Dee's fic Agent Loki international man of mayhem... Is not online. If anyone knows why (or where I can get my hands to read this lovely story) please let me know.

Her no-longer functioning website had a message about the hiatus back in January: readable via the Wayback Machine (http://web.archive.org/web/20140102174436/http://shockbox.net/). The only problem is that the email's host site, which was also theirs, also seems to be non-functioning now, but I guess it might be worth a try?

Now I'm really bummed I never saved the alternative ALIMOM series, the meta, or the further in the timelines fics of the original timeline. I do have some of the original series saved, and some of the ficlets, but I would not feel good about sharing them until an attempt to contact Alis Dee has been made.

:( ETA: Looks like she also deleted her twitter account (https://twitter.com/alisdee) and one of her websites [x (http://web.archive.org/web/20130422002928/http://void-star.net/)] was last updated in April and after that only displayed the hiatus message as her art site above.

Holy cow. I remember reading this fic and being moved to tears by the end. Looks like Small Things is gone, too. Do you know if she left any messages regarding her wishes for the fics? Like would it be disrespectful to try and *find* copies?

Sorry to hear about the author, it always sucks when that happens.

You might like this fic (http://archiveofourown.org/works/294801) where Coulson convinces Loki to be a secret agent of SHIELD. I found it because once upon a time I listened to the podfic.

Did a bit of digging around on wayback machine, with a bit of patience I managed to access stories 1, 2, 5-7, 12 & 13 from aO3. Just read the first one and it's amazing. Now I'm really puzzled why these stories were removed.

I would love to read the full series, but I guess I have to respect that they were taken down from the site for whatever reason. *sigh*

I loved her stories, and I never expected this! She seemed so committed to what she wrote, what she created.
We can only hope she will change her mind and come back, but I'm not very hopeful... otherwise, why delete every single thing?

Why oh why? Hers were among the best Thor/Avenger fics that were out there! I can't believe it. I knew about the hiatus, and just a couple days ago I was thinking about how long it'd been since I had read new stuff from the Small Things verse, but I wouldn't have ever imagined she would delete everything...
I'm so saddened when fandom authors disappear like that. It's in their right, I know, but it saddens me nonetheless that they would take their work with them :(
That probably means that she'll never write fic again, too. Now I'm depressed *sigh*

Sad to see she has deleted everything. I'm just hoping that she deleted stuff because she got a book contract. Sometimes when a fan writer gets a book contract for original work, they are also told to take down all their fanfic.

Hi everyone!

I'm glad people enjoyed my fics and I'm sorry I removed them.

The removal was for personal reasons and no, no one told me to, it was my own decision. Because of that, however, I would very much appreciate it if people could not go publicly "fishing" for copies or sharing the copies that are out there.

Obviously I can't enforce this (and the Wayback Machine... urgh, why do you exist? D:), but since people have asked for my thoughts on the subject, there they are.

So thank you again to all the wonderful people who enjoyed my stuff, and apologies for any disappointment the removal has caused.

I'm so glad to hear you're well and still active, Dee :D actually it's a relief, because in the years I've been in fandom I've had authors disappear for the most serious of reasons, often health-related, and since I tend to get attached to those whose stories I love even if I don't know them personally, well... I was worried. Hope you don't mind and it doesn't sound stalkerish ugh, I swear it isn't. I'm just emotional.
So, I'm happy to hear that's not your case! I'm sad to learn that you deleted everything and want it to stay that way, though - it's in your right, of course, but your stories were beautiful. Special. They gave me a lot, and still do. The same can be said for your non-AO3 pages: I loved your meta and I'm grateful I got to read it all. Fandom truly has lost much :(
If I may ask, are you leaving fandom forever? (Please don't!) Why did you do it, and do you think you will ever find your way back to fanfiction? Please don't think I want to be prying, and sorry if I come off so, it's just that I've always wondered what could push someone away from their hard work so abruptly, since I couldn't see myself deleting everything I ever shared with other fans.

I hope this message finds you and that you will be so patient as to reply to it :)
