Steve Fics

Hi,
This is my first time posting here and I'm not entirely sure this is the place for one of my questions. I'm looking for fics that deal with Steve's transformation into Captain America. They can be set in WW2 or modern day. Maybe it's Bucky reaction to his best friend's new body or the other Commandos see pictures of Steve pre-serum? If the story has the Avengers, I'd prefer ones where Steve gets regressed back into his pre-serum body (temporarily) and the Avengers have to deal with it? I'd imagine they'd be shocked - knowing's one thing and seeing's another. I'm picky about length on this but I am picky on spelling and grammar. Minor issues are one thing but a story that's riddled with them is another.

If you don't mind some self promotion I do a lot of Steve centric fics. But I think First Day of Winter (http://archiveofourown.org/works/843372) might fit the bill for you.

Stories, I've read some of them, though I wasn't able to find every of the ones I loved, here a short list of the ones I did, all of them Steve/Tony:

If you like Marvel Noir stories , that means setting is during WWII, Look here, look back, look ahead (http://archiveofourown.org/works/160223) by marinarusalka is a very good one to read.

Hero Worship (http://archiveofourown.org/works/974723) by Wordsplat, if you were hoping to get long fics, it's sadly short, but too lovely to miss, and Wordsplat is a favourite author of mine.

The Twice-Told Tale (http://archiveofourown.org/works/411599) by Arysteia, short too but it's very good.

And the last one I was able to find is an Alpha/Omega verse AU, wrote for kinkmeme prompt "Omega!Tony falls in love with tiny Alpha!Steve", the story is here (http://avengerkink.livejournal.com/1405.html?thread=29266045#t29266045), I remember I quite liked it, ABO verse notwithstanding, but I'm not sure if Steve become Super Soldier Serum later in the story.

About your other question, there's wingheads community "dedicate to the all things Captain America", includes any character that has ever been Captain America as well as Cap related legacy.

There's also virgin Captain America community here: virgin_america.

Or theinvaders community devoted to Steve's WWII team and it's members and friends.

Then, there're some pairing focused communities: stevelovestony, cap_ironman, steve_darcy, 8oclockonthedot (Steve/Peggy).
