avengers_searchI'm looking for any fics dealing with the Avengers losing a limb for whatever reason, whether it be a happy/sad ending. I love Steve/Tony, so ones with that pairing or just with Steve or Tony as the focus would be great. Thanks!

In both Tony is an amputee (double amputee in the second one) due to his unfortunate trip to Afghanistan. "Half the Man..." is currently on hold, but definitely worth reading, I think it's written brilliantly. No shipping there (so far), but great character interaction.
"A tale of two gamers" by Settiai is an AU story where all the Avengers are part of an online gaming team. A lot of this is "in game", which was unusual for me to read, but still a lot of fun. Steve and Bucky friendship, both have come back from the war as amputees. It's leaning heavily towards Steve/Tony at the end, nothing much happening though.
