avengers_searchI think it is whether a Fix-It fic or a What If fic.
I don't remember if one of Tony or Steve time travels to the past, but for whatever reason, it makes Tony and Steve have a really good relationship (of course they end up falling in love with each other, too) in the past before Steve gets frozen in the Arctic.
When Steve gets de-frozen in modern time, he meets Tony again. I don't remember why, but Tony in modern time doesn't remember their relationship in the past. So, Tony acts rude to Steve (Just like in The Avengers 2012 movie), while Steve is not offended by Tony at all. Steve is just happy and all smiles because he gets to see Tony again.
If I remember correctly, there are specific events that happen after that, like when Tony mocks that all the power Steve has just comes from a bottle, Steve agrees and banters good naturally with Tony. Then when Tony offers blueberry to Steve, he accepts it because they talk about blueberry too in the past. Tony is so confused by Steve, like "why is this person still treated me well when I try to annoy him?"
