Been looking for this fic everywhere but can’t find it, I read it on AO3 ages ago. It’s a young peter (like he’s 8 or possibly younger)he’s been held in hydra since he was a toddler and they’ve been experimenting on him so he has his powers, the avengers raid the base and find peter (they have no idea he’s there or who he is) they rescue him and they all basically adopt him with Tony taking on the role of his dad. I remember that Peter gets given a toy sloth teddy bear and he names it Mary after his mother. If anyone know what I’m on about and could send me the link that would be fantastic, I feel like I’m losing my mind. Tony and Peter aren’t biologically related in this one, Peter just gets adopted by Tony eventually

Okay so this is pretty late and you might've found it already but I think this is the one. I started reading this and Peter eventually gets the sloth toy you mentioned (chapter 5). He goes on to call the sloth Mary after his mom which you also mentioned. The fic apparently got deleted from AO3 so that might be why you had trouble finding it.
