avengers_searchHeya! Looking for two pretty specific Bucky fics, can’t find them anywhere!
The first involved Bucky slowly deteriorating due to his knock-off serum going wrong, almost like a terminal auto-immune disease. It was all set in avengers tower, and at the same time Pepper’s Extremis is getting more unstable and Tony is frantically trying to find a cure. I seem to remember that at the 11th hour they realise bucky’s serum can save pepper, and then just as pepper is saved, Bucky is at death’s door and Tony is about to thank Bucky with a fireworks show (using the last of extremis), they realise extremis can in turn save Bucky. Desperate to find this one but having no joy.
The second fic was about Bucky getting closure for/grieving his lost arm. Him and Steve trek into the Alps where he fell, find the arm frozen (in a river I think?) and then cremate it using a little gadget Tony made them. Not a lot of plot from what I remember but really moving!
