avengers_searchHi, I really need help finding this fic if anyone can help me. I’ve searched everywhere.
Basically, it starts with Steve getting stabbed/wounded badly during a fight. Tony can only save him from bleeding to death by sealing the wound with the heat from his thrusters. However, this turns out to be a major mistake as the weapon Steve was stabbed with had a parasite on the blade, which is now shut off in Steve’s body.
The parasite slowly takes over Steve, most notably making him hate the cold as the parasite cannot survive in cold temperatures. Eventually Steve is fully possessed by the parasite and it attacks the avengers, doing some major damage and disabling Jarvis as it still has Steve’s strategic mind.
Tony figures out that the only way to get rid of the parasite is to freeze it out, but it could also kill Steve. They manage to pull it off in the end, but it’s a close call. Then it’s all happy and fluff from there. Any help?
