Y'all I cannot for the life of me find this fic and I know I saved it! It's pre-MCU where Peter is dropped off to Tony before he gets kidnapped in Afghanistan and he doesn't want anything to do with him. When he gets back he's all in on being a good dad and Peter becomes his whole world. Cue Avengers and all that happens and what I specifically remember is Peter hating Captain America because he was watching everything on the news and thought he'd sent Tony through the portal...please help!

Ouch, bad luck. This fic was called “My son, my sun” written by Wordsplat. Unfortunately, they deleted their account and stories from AO3 a while ago.
