Hello, im bored. I was wonding if you guys could help me? Im looking for some fics where its just team and Tony interaction. Where the team is shocked by how different and nice Tony actually is. Just the team learning more about Tony, and Tony trying to hide it. (Even when he can't) cute, funny, adorable, angsty, fluff. Idk. Thanks in advance! :)

If you're willing to work your way through the equivalent of the dreaded phone tree, here's how to get a bunch:

1. Go to Ao3 and in the search box on the upper right of the home page, enter "protective avengers" without quotes.

2. You'll get a bazillion. Go to edit search.

3. Leave the place "protective avengers" went, and start your choice. I marked "complete only," "no crossover," entered English as my language, put in the top three Avenger stories (the first 3 that show up), Tony Stark as the character, and hit enter.

4. That got me 800 stories. The old edit search doesn't allow you to exempt what you don't want, so get skim past the reader, explicit, etc, whatever you don't want.

If I've forgotten a step, or the cat trying to drape herself over tablet managed to insert her own step, you should be able to adjust the edit. 😊

Or you can click on any Protective Avengers as a tag in any story. That will bring the numbers way down. Whew! That tag has the new search engine so you can subtract as you want. I always subtract major character death, explicit, and reader. I always say complete only and no crossover, and leave everything blank. Putting in too many specifics results in zero stories found. I get a lot of that. Then I keep adding stuff back again until stories show up.
