Alternate Avengers post-civil war

Hi, I'm looking for a fic that I read on ao3, where a Steve, Clint, Natasha, and Thor from an alternate universe appear after civil war. They end up signing the Accords and joining the Avengers. At one point they go to some sort of of gala/charity event, and in another chapter Tony helps alt!Nat dye her hair.

I don't remember the name of the story, but I know it was by Wix and I read it on AO3. However, I just went through all my bookmarks for that author and could not find the story, so they may have removed it.

Wait really? Thats sad :( I love their works, never mind if they're WIPs and it sucks that people have harassed them to the point they just took the stories down :( I hope they get put back up eventually

I would dearly love Wix to finish her WIPs, she is such a brilliant author. But it is entirely up to her to decide if she wants to continue with a piece of fic or not. I will just read anything she chooses to post and be grateful for it.

Thanks for you help, everyone. Now that I know it was by Wix, I was able to find it on the wayback machine. It's called Things We Wish Were True. Some of their other wips that I was looking forward to rereading don't seem to be archived there though, so I guess they're gone. :(

Okay, with a little digging - I found the copy on Wayback Machine goes up to chapter 3. More digging - I've been saving fic - even WIPs on my Laptop, Kindle Fire and LG tablet - cause all too often things disappear online for various reasons. The copy I have in my archives goes to chapter 5.

I so detest readers that cannot respect an author's autonomy. Readers that demand writers finish a fic that they love regardless of where the author's muse is fixated are just so maddening. Here's hoping Wix does return to this story sometime in the future when the muse picks up the thread.

Ok it looks like there might have only been 5 chapters, cause the latest version i have is 5 chapters and it says the fic was updated August 7th 2018, which honestly feels about the right time i remember last reading the fic so :P

Also, as wix has taken down many WIPs, its possible i might have a copy of some of them too because i save and update the pdfs of fics religiously. So if you know a fic by wix you cant find, i could look for the fic on my laptop and see if i have a copy

If you can't or something, then no worries. Here's to hoping the muse descends and Wix either finishes or re-uploads their works. It's a shame when pushy fans ruin things for the rest. I hope their okay.
