avengers_searchHi everyone,
I’m incredibly desperate to find a fic I read last April after Infinity War came out. It was on AO3.
I read it very late/early morning and was so engrossed in the story I didn’t read the title. I’ve searched for months through Google and AO3 tags, Loki/Thor tag etc., and got nowhere.
It was a Thor/Loki slash pairing in which once the Avengers defeat Thanos, Thor forces lightning too much into the sky as the Avengers celebrate and becomes unconscious or in a coma as a result of being consumed by his lightning.
Loki is the only one who can save him. In order to do so, he casts a spell and goes into his mind to bring him back to life.
In Thor’s mind, Loki follows Thor back in time to various points in Thor’s life (because Thor is lost and the more time they spend in each mindscape, the more out-of control Thor becomes as time is running out) and Loki realises his and Thor’s feelings for one another.
Eventually, Loki has to fight numerous versions of Thor he encounters in his mind; the last of which is a very angry, out-of-control Thor.
At the end, Loki is able to overpower Thor in his mind and and return Thor’s life back to him and they are in a relationship by the end of the story.
As far as I can remember, the story is between 10-13 chapters long and may have had an M rating. I don’t think there’s any explicit sexual content.
I would actually love for anyone to know or hazard a guess as to what the story’s called. This is my last resort! Any help is greatly appreciated.
