It all comes out when Odin wants to punish Loki and Thor is against it. Only this time Heimdall tips Frigga and Loki off they arrive just in time to see Thor’s latest punishment…Odin has him bound and gangraped by guards. Loki loses his shit over it. It's really good and I highly recommend it!
Trajectories (http://norsekink.livejournal.com/8195.html?thread=17419779&#t17419779) also has protective!Loki (sort of). The Other kidnaps Thor and Loki joins the Avengers in order to get him back.
Revelations by astolat (http://archiveofourown.org/works/398023?view_adult=true) (NC-17) where Thor dies and Loki goes to Hel to bring him back.
