1) Phil is de-aged in the middle of a battle. It was either due to a spell or a ray gun that caused whatever it hit to be reduced to it's original/earlier parts. Unless I'm combining stories, it is near Phil's birthday and the team find out that when he was young he planned his own parties.
2) For some reason Phil becomes disillusioned with Capt. America and puts all of his memorabilia up for auction. One of the others buy everything and help Steve reconnect with Phil.
3) A homophobic group has targeted the Avengers that ends up being led by Coulson's father. Clint/Coulson
