I read a story where Tony gets hurt right before he has the baby. I think he is in a coma or really out of it for a short period of time. No one brings him the baby to see or lets him feed the baby. I want to say the other father is Steve and names the baby Howard without talking to Tony. After weeks or months everyone realizes what they have been doing.
