Tortured Loki

I'm looking for any fics where Thor finds out Loki has been tortured — either by Thanos or as a punishment after Avengers. Protective Thor is a must with protective Avengers a bonus :). Please no Thor/Loki.

I don't know if you'd consider this "tortured" but Sherza's Damaged Defenders starts out with Thor figuring out right after his woods-destroying fight with Stark and Cap that Loki's eyes being blue (as Barton's were) instead of their usual green meant that he wasn't himself. Now that I think about it and look farther into the story (holding at 138 chapters right now), the whole story of Loki's ordeal under Thanos comes to light during his trial before Odin, Frigga, and the Asgard court. (If you've gotten that far, keep reading. The story goes into fantastic places!) It's found at Archive of Our Own.

Summary: Gamora is there when Loki falls into Thanos’ hands, and she’s there to watch Loki break under torture. She’s not going to defy her father (yet), but in the beginning, she gives Loki a little advice: find a core truth about yourself and bury it deep, and once Thanos has broken and remade you into what he wants, something of you might still be left.

the high cost of mind control removal is a wonderful fic thanos was controlling Loki when Odin removes the control it causes brain damage unfortunately it hasn't been updated since 2016 but the first 33 chapters are a wonderful read.
