I'm trying to find a fic with a scene where Natasha watches as Loki eats pieces of Thor as some sort of weird magic so as to heal Thor and save his life. Pretty sure I read it on AO3. I think Thor, Natasha and Loki are trapped beneath a building and Thor is unconscious for most of it.

Hi, the fic I'm looking for takes place after the first movie. For some reason Clint is asked to move out from his quarters at SHIELD (maybe by Fury), which he finds strange, but he does move out and buys a crappy apartment that he starts to fix up. It's slow going, but the other avengers start to drop by to help out. I think Tony fixes his TV, or something. Maybe somebody brings beer, I'm not sure. Any ideas? Thanks!

I'm would love to read a fic centered around Rumlow's extreme dislike of Clint. It could be for a variety of reasons but at the top of my list it would be someone to the effect of "I can't believe an uneducated carney outranks/out-spars/out-everything's me."

Bonuses would include homophobia (whether Clint is openly gay or presumed to be) and/or ableism (if you go against movie canon, which I prefer, to make Clint deaf or HOH).

If there isn't one of these out there, could anyone rec a good kinkmeme site for Avengers or MCU? So I can't put this up as a prompt.

I only remember one scene, and the team was watching Lord of the Rings. Thor and Loki recognized some of the story from real events in the other realms. Also, I think there was some discussion of storytelling, but I could be making that up.

I remember there once being this fanfiction of Tony and Steve on fanfiction.net (I think). I thought I saved it but I didn't and I haven't been able to find it since. It's post-Avengers movie and I think Tony and Steve are outside when Steve suddenly begins talking about his depression and suicidal feelings. This causes him to break down and tell the truth about himself. Tony is upset and decides to help Steve through all of this. If anyone knows what this is, please give the link. Thank you.

Hi guys, I'm looking for post-Avengers fics where Asgard and other realm or interstellar powers (like the Kree, Xandar, etc.), see Earth's defeat of the Chitauri and take notice--realizing that Earth is already on its way to becoming a major power in its own right. I'm especially looking for fics with one or more of the following:

1) The Avengers visiting Asgard and conducting diplomacy/discussing the battle
a) Asgardian reactions to Tony's arc reactor

2) A focus on the role of technology in Earth's rise, especially with BAMF!Tony

3) A contrast between Earth's scientific view of technology and Asgard's semi-mystical view

I'm looking for a fic, where Dummy was perfectly capable of doing whatever the task he was given, but once he was doing them for Tony, he screwed everything up. Bruce explained, that Tony was making Dummy nervous, because he created him and the bot wanted to impress him.
I read this fic a long time ago and I wanted to read it again, but I can't find it :(
It probably was on FanFiction.Net (though LiveJournal is a possibility, too) and most likely had Tony Stark and Bruce Banner as the main characters.

Hello there! I've searched everywhere and for the life of me I can't find it(not even in my history*sulks*). Anyway, it was post-Avengers, where Loki is taken to Asgard for his punishment/trial. A spell is used on him, to a time before he turned "evil". To everyone's shock, he turned into a child. I can't remember the reason, but Thor takes him to Midgard, where he slowly bonds with the Avengers and they learn of his abuse and neglect from Odin and Asgard(Thor never knew). The main scene I remember is that Loki and Tony are sledding down a hill, Loki looking to the sky saying they are "calling me home" before being taken by frost giants. Laufey is very protective and learns of the abuse by Odin.

Any help is appreciated!

Steve is in Tony's lab while he works, quietly reading. He ends up throwing his laptop/tablet, and is 'upset' about the Stony fic he's been reading and how dumb he looks in it. He's exaggerating how upset he is, kind of did it on purpose to bring the topic up with Tony. They end up together/banging.

I am looking for a fic that I read a while ago and now I can't for the life of me find it. It is a Clint / Natasha fic where they move somewhere in europe (I am fairly certain it is Tuscany). The house is a bit rundown and Clint takes to fixing that up while Natasha gardens in the orchard and keeps bees. Everyone else drops by to visit at various times including Bucky who stays for a while to regain some equilibrium. Tony and Pepper have a kid as well.

If anyone knows what I am talking about I would really appreciate the help.

Hello. I'm looking for a specific fic that contains a Tony/Bruce friendship scene. I'm pretty sure the scene is part of a large fic. Bruce wants to thank Tony for giving him a place to live, and he realizes that the arc reactor puts a huge strain on Tony's body. Bruce used knowledge of herbs gained on his travels to create a mix of anti-inflammatory and immune supportive daily shot. He teaches Tony's chef to make it up for Tony daily as a "shot" mixed with coconut milk. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Okay, so I have recently started reading Avengers-fanfiction, and I find that I really, really like it. I mostly prefer fics with slash-pairings, but gen is good too.

I really hope you can help me, because this has been bugging me. Because I can barely find any of these, and I really hope there's more.

1. I read a fic where Steve was one of the soldiers with Tony in the humvee, and he goes temporarily deaf. So I was wondering if there are any fics where Tony becomes permanently/temporarily deaf, blind or mute either while in Afghanistan or during the Avengers? Or comes back from Afghanistan permanently injured (that is not the arc reactor, but he has that too), maybe he had to amputate an arm? Maybe even no one knows of this injury?

2. Any fics that closely follow the original timeline (MCU), but Howard Stark isn’t dead? Or he is brought forward in time? And then he is either a really good father, a bad father or a mix between them.

3. I also read a Howard/Steve-series, The Joys of Step-Parenting, where Steve becomes Tony’s Step-Father, so I was wondering if there are any other fics like that because I literally fell in love. Steve as Tony's step-father. I really liked that idea.

4. (added this as I noticed I had managed to hit a wrong tag.. hidden identity) I have read a lot of these, where iron man's identity is hidden. This got me thinking. Are there any fics where everyone wears masks to hide their identity, so that even the Avengers don't know who they are actually fighting with?

I would be really happy for any fic-recs received. They don't have to be spot on, but similar is good. I'll accept any pairings, even if I am more inclined to read slash-pairings, I can even read fics with no pairings or with het-pairings. I just really want to read more fics like this if it was possible. The length of the fics don't really matter, although I love longfics, I can read shortfics too. Just not any crack, please.

Hi, I'm looking for a story where Tony's invented something to (I think) cheaply and easily purify water and Bruce is thinking about how Tony solved two of the world's biggest problems - energy (with the arc reactor) and water - in his spare time. I think it's just the opening scene of the story and I can't remember anything else about it but I'd love to read it again.

I'm also looking for a story where Tony gives Loki a drink at the end of Avengers and everyone looks disapproving when he has one as well but it isn't alcohol. Any other stories where he give's Loki that drink would be good too.

For a general search, I'm looking for any stories that show the kindness behind Tony's façade. I'd be happy if it's to the team but I'd particularly love something like Tipping Point or Nikolai (Fury of the Avenger's Tower) where's it's just random acts of kindness.

I'll read gen or any pairing, although I prefer Tony/Steve.

Hey! I have been searching for this fic, and I can remember reading it but I can't find it!!! It was a tony-centric fic, where he locks himself in a safe or his closet or something like that, and then Clint and Natasha find him and bring him out and stay with him while he comes down. They talk to him later and find out that he does this whenever he thinks he is being "too tony", like there is a certain number of times that Steve sighs or Bruce pinches his nose or something and then Tony will go into the safe to sort of do a reset on himself. And Clint and Natasha are suitably horrified and try to talk to him about why that is wrong or whatever. I think that is the main idea but I can't think of where it is or what is was called etc. It would have been on Ao3 or ff.net but it might be elsewhere as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!

I would love a Thor/Loki fic that takes place right after the Avengers movie where they return to Earth because the people of Asgard discovered their relationship and they were banished/humiliated/scorned/etc. It doesn't matter whether they were in a relationship during or before Avengers or if it was a new thing. I just would love to see family!Avengers fic where the Avengers accept their relationship (and eventually Loki) when the people of Asgard would not.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations of fics that show the Avengers developing in to a team/close friends/family. I love the ones by Qweb on fanfiction and also Dogstar-Black's Protective Reasoning series and I'm hoping people know other fics like this I can read.
I don't mind how long or short they are but I would prefer if they were gen or canon pairings if possible though I don't mind some slash as long as its not the main point of the fic.

Oh and a quick second request, if anyone knows any protective Rhodey fics or fics concerning Bruce/Betty pairing I would love to read those as well

I'm pretty new to the fandom and did a search on the rec page here but didn't find anything. I hope this is ok since Bucky isn't an avenger in the CA/WS movie world. I'm actually looking for some WS tortured! current Bucky fanfics..Graphic description doesn't bother me. Kindof like if WS recovered Bucky being kidnapped and was tortured for information/hydra/or sacrificing for teammates while the other avengers watch helplessly or perhaps they recovered recordings of the chair, ect. I usually see fics where the avengers see the tortured aftermath of Bucky, but I want to read fics that the avengers actually see Bucky being tortured instead of just hearing about it.I like gen or stucky. A while back I read a FrostIron fic that featured Loki living on Earth. I want to reread it but I can't find it in my browser's history.

Details: Thor brings Loki to Earth. Loki magic was either stripped from him as punishment or he was unable to use it due to the fact that the Chitauri could track him with it. The brothers show up at Tony's location and ask if he can house Loki. Tony either allows Loki to use an apartment he already owned, or Tony specifically purchased an apartment for Loki's uses.

The one scene I remember is Thor and Tony showing up at Loki's apartment and they find it in disarray. They investigate and soon after find the Chitauri corpse. Now they are really worried that Loki's been taken. However, Loki reveals himself, along with Clint (who was visiting Loki), to still be in the apartment. Loki and Clint killed the Chitauris when they invaded the apartment. Afterwards, I think it was decided that Loki shoujld live in Stark Tower.

PS: I am pretty sure the fic was on AO3.

I'm looking for a specific fanfic(s) where Phil has tried to recruit Darcy, but she puts him off. When the Battle of New York happens, she reconsiders, using the contact info he left her, and discovers he died in battle.

Other scenes include her being included on an Avengers briefing despite being a junior agent/trainee, and going on a training exercise that is a fancy dinner/charity function, and being the only one who doesn't fail the exercise.

Might be part of a larger fic series, but this particular installment is Darcy-centric.

I am really in the mood for some great Steve/Tony fics that explore Steve and Tony meeting for the first time (i.e the events of the movie) and them falling in love afterwards. This doesn't have to actually include events from the movie, but be set directly after it. I want it to really focus on them really feeling out their relationship, getting to know each other and the love that blossoms from it. I don't know if what I'm looking for exists, but anything close will do.

What I really, really want is for Tony and Pepper to be tother but either have an open relationship or be on again/off again with an understanding that affairs for either during the off phases cannot be held against them. I want Tony seducing Steve or maybe just noticing that Steve is hot for him and deciding "sure, why not?" without realizing that Steve is expecting more than just sex.

I want Steve realizing that Tony is still with Pepper or back with Pepper and that he's just the fluff on the side.

I'm looking for a specific fic I read once, I think it might have been a big bang fill, but I don't know for sure. All I remember about it was a scene where Steve starts sketching a lesbian couple while at the grand canyon, and the couple notices, and freaks out at first, before they realize he means no harm/isn't homophobic? I think? Like, one of the couple had just come out to her parents, and it hadn't ended well, so she's sure that the guy watching them is also being homophobic.

That's all I remember, that and that he's alone during this; it's definitely a solo road trip.

Hello! and Happy New Year! :)

I need some help finding a fic. I can only remember a very short part of the fic and it's been in my head for over a month.
The part I remember is the avengers are at Tony's gathered around a table (I think) and they are talking and someone says,

"Tony, you own 10% of this country. You're a King!"
and Tony just kind of looks at the person and blinks and then says, "Well, that's not rimportant right now, what's important is...."

and that's all I can remember. I have the feeling that the people around him were all amazed that he didn't seem to realize how powerful he was or something. I think Thor was thinking about that sort of stuff. But I could be wrong.

Does anyone recognize this scene?

I'd really appreciate any help.

I'm looking for a "Five Times" Thor and Loki fic. I can remember practically everything about it *except* for title and author. Iirc, it started as a prompt on norsekink and I know I read it at AO3.

The fic starts when Thor fails to recognize Natasha when she comes in from an assignment. She's dyed her hair a dark color, and Thor thinks she is an intruder, tackles her and she manages to pin him. The other Avengers finally manage to convince Thor that it really *is* Natasha, even though Thor remains suspicious.

Another time, Pepper helps Jane get ready for a big date with Thor -- new clothes and everything -- only Thor doesn't recognize Jane when she is "dressed up."

One of the last times is when Loki hijacks the tv networks dressed in a 'Thor' costume and proceeds to upset Thor by dancing the Macarena, the Chicken Dance and finally, karaoke.
