Hello all! I'm new to this community but I've been in MCU fandom since...around the time Iron Man 2 came out, I think. Anyhow, I'm looking for two types of stories:

(1) Stories where Steve meets the "I can swim!" kid from CA:TFA in a post-Avengers setting, and

(2) Stories that take place while Steve is in the ice, specifically Steve dreaming/hallucinating/waking up and falling asleep/dying and coming back to life Captain Jack Harkness style.

Thanks! :)

I hope someone can help me re-find this story.  The part on my mind is just one small part of a longer story.  Steve is living in a apartment in (probably) Brooklyn and his neighbors recommend songs for his playlist for when he out running or jogging.  One songs stops him cold and almost drives him to his knees.  I don't think the song is ever named and maybe not the singer either, but it's obviously Lovin' You by Minnie Riperton.  The girl had a four octive range and used it in that song.  I probably have the story (series?) on my laptop but its just one of dozens, with no one word or phrase standing out to search for.  So just the title or author would help a lot.

I've looked everywhere for this story and can't find it for the life of me. It's post-Avengers with Steve getting a phone call about Peggy dying. He tries to hide his reaction from the rest of the team (pretty sure he feels they don't want him for anything but battle leadership). They follow him to his room where he breaks down crying. I seem to recall that he's lying across Tony's lap, Thor tells stories of his adventures to distract him, and the rest of team huddle round them.
